It took me a few tries to get into this book but once I got past the beginning, I couldn't stop reading. Loved the characters and the plot and looking forward to reading another book by Catherine Walsh!

A great friends to lovers tale. Molly and Andrew take the same flight every year at Christmas, heading home from Chicago to Ireland. This year, storms ground their flight and Monlly stops at nothing go get Andrew home for Christmas. Their journey had my head spinning and I was tired just reading it! It was lovely to watch their relationship develop in flashbacks to previous flights, and watch it blossom into something new on their mammoth journey! Great writing, well rounded characters and a happy ending! Lush!

This was a really engaging and entertaining book. I immediately liked Molly and Andrew. They are sympathetic characters and the writer does well to create individual portraits of them, their lives and values whilst developing an undeniable chemistry and affection between them. I loved the timelines, which incorporated an opportunity for us to see how their slow burn romance has developed. I appreciated that the bedroom action was kept mostly private as I'm a bit of a prude for full blown steam! The ending, where we got a better glimpse into their lives, traditions and heritage in Ireland was really heartwarming. This book has some really touching moments, some really funny moments and some really twisty moments. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by this author!

10 years and 10 flights together... Molly & Andrew accidentally started a tradition of getting the Chicago to Dublin flight home at Christmas together, and gradually are great friends after a rocky start! I really enjoyed this rom-com, a bit of Christmassy spirit without being overly predictable or too cheesy! They have a great chemistry and are well-developed characters with their own flaws, issues and classic bad timing that evolve throughout the story. I liked the way the story is interspersed with the flashbacks to each flight to explain how we have got to flight 10 and the disastrous situation the storm puts them in for their Christmas at home. I liked the wider characters, especially the families in Ireland. A definite bit of Christmas Cheer!

I loved this book! This is one of my favorite holiday reads that I’ve ever read! I really loved the format of this one and how it switched between the timelines! I thought both main characters were great! I can’t wait to rad the next one!

This book was perfect! At the beginning I thought it was going in a different direction than I wanted, but then it did EXACTLY what I wanted! I loved both of these characters so much and seeing their relationship develop throughout the years. It was great that not only did we see the present, but we also got to see glimpses of their trips from the past 10 years. I thought Molly was extremely relatable for me, so I really enjoyed that. This book was the perfect Christmas romance book. It was beautiful, funny, and heart warming.

This book was SO cute! I received a copy in a giveaway last year, but was saving it for this season. I loved all of the characters, but especially Andrew. His loud, loving family made me feel right at home. I love how patient he was with Molly when her grump side came out, and I love how Molly would do anything to get Andrew home for Christmas. Their relationship really was the sweetest!

I'm a sucker for anything travel-related or set in an airport, so combine that with my favorite genre of holiday romance and I was sold. I also adored the one-day-a-year aspect to their relationship and how Andrew and Molly slowly fell in love with each other over time.

If you haven't read this one yet, you definitely should before the season is over. I'm going to be diving straight into its follow-up, Snowed In!

Sweet, fun and addicting holiday read. I loved both Molly and Andrew’s characters and their store of how their shared holiday flights took them on a holiday adventure to remember.

I am reading a lottt of books lately about people trying to get places at Christmas, and I must say I’m loving it! Airports, travel and planes are the perfect place for romance, and indeed heartwarming moments, and what with the premise, that these two people end up on the same flight yearly, I was all in!

The banter between the two leads, the flashbacks to other times, the nostalgia, warmth and general fuzziness made this a vibrant book that I beyond appreciated.
Very much recommended! Thanks to the publisher for the arc, all opinions are my own

This book was so cute. I absolutely loved the couples meet cute and reading about all their plane adventures.
The way Andrew pined for the heroine warmed my heart and loved reading all about their families and seeing them all get to know each other

Molly and Andrew are celebrating their 10 year anniversary, that is, their tenth flight home to Ireland for Christmas together as friends. Andrew is a christmasaholic, and Molly is quite the opposite, but when a storm downs them, she will do whatever it takes to help him get home for Christmas.

Told in present day and also flashbacks to their previous flights it’s nice to watch their friendship grow and change. They are obviously meant for each other in a right person wrong time kind of way. Always someone not single while the other is and never getting a real chance together.

Characters were so loveable and perfect. Absolutely loved the story, the feel, and Andrew and Molly.

"Holiday Romance" by Catherine Walsh is a heartwarming friends-to-lovers Christmas romance The tale revolves around Molly and Andrew, two friends who have spent the last ten years catching the last flight before Christmas from Chicago to Dublin. Despite their differences, they cherish this holiday tradition, and unknowingly fall for each other.

The book is well-structured, alternating between past and present timelines, providing a glimpse into the evolution of Molly and Andrew's relationship over the past decade. It begins with two young adults heading back to their homes in Ireland for Christmas and ends with a whirlwind adventure as they make the journey home despite numerous obstacles.

Molly and Andrew's characters are well-developed. Molly is not particularly fond of Christmas, whereas Andrew is a full-on fanatic for the festive season. Their contrasting personalities add depth to their relationship and make their interactions engaging, realistic, humorous and fun.

The narrative is light and filled with a fun bunch of characters. The book does an excellent job of portraying the progression of a relationship over time ... from "couldn't care less" to "can't live without you". The flashbacks to each of the original 9 flights offer insight into the development of their romance.

"Holiday Romance" is a delightful read with a swoon-worthy hero, perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Mhairi McFarlane, and Christina Lauren¹². It's a lovely tale of friendship, love, and the magic of the holiday season. I've always loved the Christmas season, and that's one of the prime reasons I agreed to review this book, and i wasn't disappointed. Thanks to the publishers for offering an advance release copy.

I loved Snowed In. LOVED IT! Which then reminded me I hadn't completed this book. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Mom brain is real!

Anyways, after reading the second book, I had such high hopes for this one! I was so excited! Unfortunately this one wasn't as good as Snowed In. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this one! Molly and Andrew were such an adorable couple! Watching their love story unfold was friends to lovers romantic perfection! The only issue I had was it seemed to drag a bit in places. Some parts felt unrealistic and hard to get into. Again, make no mistake, Catherine Walsh is a rom-com genius! I just loved Snowed In a bit more.

I received an advanced copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you to NetGalley, Catherine Walsh, and Bookouture. ❤️
