Molly and Andrew have been travelling back to Ireland together for the holidays for years. This year nothing goes to plan but she is determined to help him get home - will this be the year they start to see each other in a new light? A fun, fast paced read.

Thank you @netgalley @bookouture for the e-arc! 4.5 stars! The perfect book to read on a snow day right before Christmas ❤️ It is a fun, adventurous read, not too steamy. Funny, has great family drama/adventures. All around a great holiday read

Right up top I'm going to say that I wish this book had a different title. I think Holiday Romance is too bland for this fun story!

I loved the back and forth timeline, watching Molly and Andrew's relationship develop in their annual flight home and then the real time development of their feelings for each other. I couldn't put this book down and it will definitely go into my rotation of sweet holiday books to read leading up to Christmas.

Loved this one, it was a great holiday romance! For a full review, I have included my Goodreads review link!

I loved the beginning of this one so much. Had similar vibes to People We Meet on Vacation which is one of my favourite romances.

I found the middle dragged a bit, the present timeline seemed to include some unnecessary details making it feel a bit longer than it needed to be.

Love the friendship and the flights over ten years. A solid friends to lovers plot.

This is one of my favorite books of this year! Let me tell you I absolutely loved it, and yes, I'm starting my review by instantly recommending you read this story.

This book tells us about the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers story of Molly and Andrew who've been traveling together every Christmas from Chicago to Dublin for the last ten years. This year is their anniversary, and everything doesn't go according to plan. A snowstorm grounds their flight, so Molly, who actually hates Christmas, promises Andrew, who is a fanatic for the festive season, to get him back home for Christmas whatever it takes.

I'm a sucker for Christmas rom-coms, and this one was just SO good. I love friends-to-lovers and grumpy-sunshine tropes, so this book was literally perfect for me. Molly is a strong female character, I love her determination, and I also enjoyed the fact that she felt lost with her job because I feel the same right now, so it was really relatable.

Andrew is another great main character, and yes, I added him to my list of the best male characters, because THIS MAN. I need Andrew in my life, and I won't elaborate on that. Just read this book, it is so good, I promise.

Thank you NetGalley for an eArc of this book!
This was such a fun holiday read! Molly and Andrew have been on the same flight every year during Christmas time to go home to Ireland for the Holidays for the past 10 years. The book alternates between the present and each of their past flights so you get to see their friendship develop and see where they are now. I loved their adventure trying to get home and the Christmas setting was perfect. I love a friends to lovers slow burn and this was definitely it!

Holiday Romance by Catherine Walsh

A bit late with this review! If you haven't already read it then it's one to put on the list as your 2023 light Christmas read. (I think most of irish bookstagram read it this year since it was @tiredmammybookclub December choice).

This Christmas Romance book follows Molly and Andrew who end up on the same flights home for Christmas each year. This year due to a storm they end up on a longer journey trying to get home. The characters were really likeable and I was invested in their story.

Is it a wee bit cheesy? Yes. Is it still a good read? Absolutely. It made me smile and helped me get in to a Christmasy mood. It did make me laugh and I flew through it. I will be adding other Catherine Walsh books to my to be read list.

Thank you to Netgalley uk, the author and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Loved loved loved this book! I loved how we get to go back and forth between present day and all the flights leading up to their current feelings for each other. This was a joy! And I love that the book doesn't end at their final flight destination...that was a happy surprise. Would absolutely read more of her books!

This book was precious! Such a fun, easy holiday read that was a perfect departure from thrillers and mysteries. Perfect for the Christmas season.

I love a good Christmas book! A wonderful "Holiday Romance" to read this time of year. This book had me giggling and rooting so hard for our two main protagonists.

I want to thank NetGalley, Bookotoure, and the author Catherine for the opportunity of reading this book in exchange for my honest review.

I can proudly say that I've read all of Catherine's books and none of them has been a disappointment.

I loved this book with all my heart, it came to me at the perfect moment (I was traveling) and I felt every word, fell in love with the characters and their adventures, and swooned over every little romantic gesture.

I definitely recommend this book if you:
a) Love Christmas romances
b) Are traveling, traveled, or will travel during these holidays
c) Are looking for a light and fun read that will help you disconnect

I will surely be reading whatever Catherine writes next!

Tired of your feed overflowing with holiday romcoms? No? Neither am I. So here’s another one for you. 😘 The flu derailed my pre-holiday posting plans and I’m still playing catch-up.

Holiday Romance took me by surprise in the absolute BEST way. My heart was not prepared! It also probably did not help that I was slightly delirious with fever and bedridden while reading. Or maybe that just facilitated my emotional investment in Molly and Andrew’s slow burn of a spark? It certainly didn’t hurt that I finally had time to fully lose myself in a story without being rudely interrupted by obligatory adult things. But I digress.

If you enjoyed People We Meet On Vacation, you will love Holiday Romance. I am admittedly such a sucker for the whole “friends to lovers” bit, but especially when one of said friends is a Christmas-loving, tacky sweater-wearing, witty bantering gent who adores his little sister and has no qualms about being emotionally vulnerable with his bestie. *swoon* And we get to explore Dublin at Christmas which has officially landed on my bucket list.

Catherine Walsh won me over earlier this year with The Rebound, and Holiday Romance did not disappoint. Keep an eye out for The Matchmaker, publishing in April 2023!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Many thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Catherine Walsh for the complimentary advance copy of this work! My opinions are my own.

One of the best holiday reads of the year! I loved Molly and Andrew and how their relationship evolved over shared flights back home and how we got a flashback to all their shared flights of the past. I loved the look into Ireland for the holidays as I've always wanted to travel toe Europe for Christmas.

Molly and Andrew were both going through some things but even with them fighting against the odds, they managed to create a really good relationship. I was waiting for that Act 3 breakup and I thought it would never come but am glad it resolved quickly into a happy ever after!

So cute and wonderful banter. Heartwarming, festive and a dose of steam. Loved it. I’d recommend for fans of People We Meet on Vacation.

Holiday Romance is the perfect holiday read for 2022!

SUMMARY: Molly and Andrew are Irish ex-pats who live in Chicago. After the first two years of ending up on the same flight home for the holidays, they make it a tradition; until their tenth year, when bad weather makes it seem like they won’t make it back by Christmas.

If you read one holiday romance this year, this is it! It’s friends to lovers, but there’s almost zero angst; just warm fuzzies. The only drama is like Home Alone-style running through the airport.

I was going to wait until next week to post, but the Kindle copy is currently $0.99! If you are even low key interested in a feel good seasonal read, this is the one. Get. It.

I did get an ARC of this one (thank you @netgalley @bookouture and @catwalshwriter), but honestly I would be singing its praises either way! 🙌 This book is a new seasonal fave!

Perfect friends to lovers!

Molly and Andrew take the same flight home every year. They have been doing so for ten years, and a lot happens in ten years. In the tenth year, upon delays and cancellations in flights, Molly realizes she may have feelings for Andrew.
I loved the time jumps in the book. I feel it gives depth to their relationship. The writing is simple but good, and the story is also a simple but fun one.

I loved the interactions between Molly and Andrew, They felt like a real couple rather than an overly dramatic melodrama. Instead of letting things blow out of proportion, they are open and talkative. None of that misunderstanding stress.

Definitely recommend it for a cozy December night in.

I expected this to be different but it was still an interesting read. I expected it to be less predictable. I still had fun reading it.
