Another series I struggled to say goodbye, but it ended so beautifully and with the most anticipated couple of them all. This was an incredible slow-burn festive read, with great characters and a beautiful small-town. Loved, loved, loved.

Book Five in the mermaids point series - A fantastic Christmas book
Very well written and because of Sarah Bennett’s writing style this book could be a standalone book ,
Aurora and Nicks story this time.
These books have had strong themes of family, friends and community and this book is no exception.
A brilliant series which I would recommend
Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books, and Sarah Bennett for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

This is a good book. The two main characters are Aurora and Nick. Aurora is famous singer and Nick is fisherman and home improver. Aurora calls Nick and asks for his help. The press is coming after her after some false reports. Nick agrees to be her fake boyfriend but that doesn’t last very long. Aurora suggests to Nick they change it from fake to real. Aurora loves Nick’s family. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Happy Endings at Mermaid's Point is the fifth and final book in the series. It's the perfect book to pick up and get lost in on a lazy day while sipping from your tea or coffee cup.
We met Nick and Aurora way back in the first book, Summer Kisses at Mermaid's Point but had to wait til now for them to get their own story, and oh what a delightful story it is.
Aurora is a singer and despite all things gets caught up in a media storm. As we all know more than half of the stuff you hear in the media isn't true. Due to unforeseen circumstances she has to come home to Mermaid's Point. Now Mermaid's Points residents have the small-town, charming, will help you with anything feel. This is exactly what Aurora is counting on as she needs to enlist the help of Nick. He'll pretend to be her boyfriend just until the media settles down. Well, we know how fake dating turns out so many times, it becomes the real thing, either right away or eventually.
The romance of Christmas is in the air and the residents of Mermaids are out and about celebrating.
So fun and festive this feel-good book will linger with you long after the last page has been read.

Warm-hearted festive romance does not get any better than Sarah Bennett’s latest Christmas novel, Happy Endings at Mermaids Point.

At long last, music sensation Aurora Storm has got her life back on track – until she finds herself caught up in a media storm. With the press and paparazzi all wanting a piece of her, Aurora is desperate. She needs to find a way to get all the baying hounds off her case and a pretend boyfriend seems to be the only option she has available to her – and she knows just the man who could help her in her hour of need…

Nick Morgan never expected to hear from Aurora ever again. But when she calls him out of the blue needing his help, he vows to do whatever he can for her. The tight-knit community of Mermaids Point is going to be quite a change for city girl Aurora, however, when she finds herself welcomed by Nick and his family and friends, she starts to fall under the spell of this charming village – and for the man who has come to mean everything to her.

Nick has just two weeks to convince Aurora to give their romance a second chance. Can they make a life for themselves in Mermaids Point? Or will the lure of Aurora’s celebrity life end up proving irresistible leaving Nick heartbroken all over again?

Sarah Bennett’s charming Christmas romance will prove hard to beat this holiday season. Happy Endings at Mermaids Point is a lovely, feel-good and adorable romantic tale about second chances, new beginnings and finding happiness with a hero readers will fall in love with and a heroine it is impossible not to root for.

Best read with a big mug of cocoa and a cosy blanket, Happy Endings at Mermaids Point is another triumph for Sarah Bennett.

Cute read. Give it a bit to find your groove - it almost lost me in the beginning as there was a lot to dig through, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I hadn't read any of the previous books in this series and that might have helped initially, but by the end it wasn't an issue. And I'm now interested in going back and starting at the beginning of the series. This is an endearing second chance romance with interesting characters and a fun environment where everyone in the community helps each other out. I'm not a huge fan of romance, but I do like to give them a try every now and then and can be a tough critic, but this one passes the test for me. If you're a romance fan, I think you might like this! 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

A second chance romance for Nick and Aurora. Will it be happily ever after or will she break his heart again?

Wonderful festive read. I didn’t realise that this was the last in a series of books, however it didn’t matter, as it was fine as a stand alone. I will now read the previous books.

Made me feel cosy and warm as I sat reading and being transferred to Mermaids Point. I could smell the sea. I felt the love and warmth of Nick Morgan’s family. To me this depicted what Christmas should be focused on, family.

It was extremely well written and the characteristics of the beautiful people bounced off one another magnificently. It also highlighted just how invasive the media is and does get the wrong slant on stories and everything written should be taken with a pinch of salt.
I loved everything about this book. Thank you Sarah Bennett for making me believe that family Christmases do exist and that families stick together through thick and thin. Definitely a book to put on your TBR list.

Thank you to Sarah Bennett and NetGalley for the opportunity of reading and reviewing such a marvellous book.

The entire Mermaids Point series by Sarah Bennett has been a fun, charming and wonderful escape. With each book I picked up I met new friends and then got to catch up with them again in the next book. So I guess in a way it was a little sad to say goodbye to them. I do think each book could be read as a stand-alone but you really will be missing out on such wonderful family dynamics and friendships. I definitely recommend reading the entire series.

In this book we get Nick’s story and I have been eager to see how it would all turn out for him. Well, I was not disappointed. Sarah Bennett gave me such a romantic and heartwarming story. The kind that made me want to jump into the book, meet the characters and stay at Mermaids Point. The community spirit and setting really is another bonus when reading this book.

The pacing was great and I was completely invested in both Nick and Aurora. I will admit I did have a few reservations about Aurora to begin with. Mainly because I think I had become very attached to Nick and wanted the best for him. Let’s just say that within a few chapters I was hoping everything would turn out right for this pair in the end.

This story had a beautiful combination of family, friends and romance. Oh and a special mention has to go to Gabriel. He was a brilliant addition to the book! I also got a lovely emotional connection throughout and for me Happy Endings at Mermaids Point really was the most perfect ending!

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Aurora Storm finally has her music career back on track until she finds herself in the middle of a media storm. She persuades Nick Morgan to help her by pretending to be her boyfriend. They find themselves in the middle of Christmas celebrations in Mermaid Point. Nick has two weeks to persuade Aurora that they can find their happy ending together in Mermaid Point. Will Aurora be persuaded to stay and make a future with Nick.

A brilliant book to end the series.

Aurora, a famous pop star has been a target of a scandal and heads to Mermaid Point to hide out and need Nick’s help to play pretend as her boyfriend to calm the social media frenzy. Nick is still care for her and love her from the first time he met her. When he want to help her out, his family is sceptical that he won’t can hurt in the end but he could not leave Aurora alone to fend for herself.

I love the community and the way they accepted Aurora back to their fold. I love Nick who has been searching for happiness but deep down he know his heart is always with Aurora. The chemistry between these two is so strong from the moment they reunite. The book is all about love and compassion. Overall, it is a delightful read for me.

I loved this one. It was so magical with the celebrity glow cast by singer Aurora Storm, the cosy atmosphere of Mermaids Point, and the fabulous family support system.

This is the final book in the series, but apart from the first scene, which has a big cast of characters, it didn’t matter than I hadn’t read the other books. Aurora, Nick and the others won me over straight away, and as soon as Aurora showed up, I was hooked. She was both glamourous and gratifyingly normal. And her attempts to make people like her in real life, rather than relying on her celebrity status, brought a full-on feel-good factor to the story.

Nick has been in love with Aurora since he first met her, so the spark was there from the outset. He was so appealing, kind and helpful and as we see Aurora through his eyes, and start to dream about the future he wants with her, it casts the story in a magical glow.

Nick’s family is big, warm and enthusiastic and they are a huge part of the story as they sweep Aurora up from a harsh and brutal past, and cushion her from the barbs that fame shoots continually in her direction. With Aurora, we feel looked after and hopeful, heading into a family Christmas that brings both love and challenges.

This is a gorgeous story and a perfect one for the run into the festive season. I will definitely be checking out the other books in the series!

This is such a lovely series of books and it has been such a pleasure to read them.
This book tied all the others up really well and it was lovely to hear about the other characters and catch up with them.
Nick and Aurora have been bubbling away since previous books and it was so lovely to watch their love affair begin and expand.
Thank you netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's always sad when a much loved series comes to an end. If it had to end, however, this was a fitting and aptly titled happy ending. The series started with Nick and Aurora staging mermaid sightings and closed with their story - a contemporary romance blossoming under the scrutiny of social media. As always heart-warming characters, charming community and feel-good vibes I'm going to miss Mermaids Point.

The author has included a list of characters at the start which was useful but I think it would be lovely to read the series from the beginning to get to know them properly. Often funny and more often emotional, I loved Nick and Aurora's story. The characters around them were so beautifully written as well and I loved the sense of community, it would be a wonderful place to live.

I enjoyed the story! It was an easy read - maybe a little long on parts, but overall a sweet story with quite a few twists and turns that you might not see coming.
