I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide me review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
The second in series, the start of this book makes it clear who is who and what relationships exist. The three couples are intertwined within families and friendship groups, they are all very close. The Christmas and New Year period features heavily, making it a perfect read to get in the Christmas mood. The romances teeter on will they / won't they, and 'oooh' moments are sprinkled throughout the pages. The cover promises a good read, and this is delivered as a lovely feel good book, definitely one to read and gift to others!

The Primrose Woods series by Jill Steeples is such a lovely series.
The feel-good book is just what you'll need at the end of your day.
I read this while drinking my Tazo orange tea and what a wonderful relaxation it was.
Not finding Australia living up to what they were expecting Lizzie's daughter and two children just pop up on her doorstep to stay, it's a surprising but thrilling moment.
I enjoyed the relationships the women had with each other. They are close friends, sharing romance troubles and triumphs.
Rhianna West has had a best friend for a long time, Luke. She sees him now as a romantic interest. If only he wasn't moving so far away, and she sure doesn't do long distance relationships.
Abbey Carter has a fun and friendly dog. She and her boyfriend Sam love living on the outskirts of scenic Primrose Woods in the picturesque village of Wishwell. There are so many activities for them to do as a family.
I enjoyed following each woman's journey as they navigate day to day life and on again- off again relationships but yet are always the backbone in friendship for each other.
I enjoyed the snowy setting and seeing the excitement of the anticipation of Christmas through the eyes of the children. There was such an exciting and wonderful surprise on Christmas Eve.
An uplifting and positive book. I would recommend it.

Like a great big hug after a particularly trying day, Jill Steeples’ Snowflakes over Primrose Woods is warm-hearted, uplifting and gives readers all the feels.

The festive season is fast approaching and Primrose Woods is at its most majestic. Abbey Carter feels like she’s on top of the world. She is in a relationship with a wonderful man, has a delightful canine called Lady to keep her company and lives in the picturesque village of Wishwell. With Christmas just around the corner, Abbey is determined to have a magical Yuletide. Will she get everything she has always wanted this Christmas? Or will there be a couple of surprises in store for Abbey during the holidays?

Lizzie Baker is rushed off her feet at the Treetops cafe, but she doesn’t mind as the holidays mean that not only is she serving her customers all manner of delectable treats, but her daughter and grandchildren are coming to stay with her over the Christmas period. Lizzie cannot wait to spend time with her nearest and dearest and she intends to make sure that they have the best time ever in the enchanting village of Wishwell and Primrose Woods.

Rhianna West has at long last found the man of her dreams. Luke is absolutely perfect for her – if only he wasn’t moving away in the New Year. Will Rhianna get her heart’s desire this Christmas? Or will disappointment be the only thing she will find under the Christmas tree?

Wishwell and Primrose Woods have never looked more beautiful, but will Abbey, Lizzie and Rhianna get everything they’ve always wanted this Christmas? Or will they not have much cause for celebration this year?

Jill Steeples’ Snowflakes Over Primrose Woods is a cosy winter warmer readers are going to love. The literary equivalent of wrapping yourself up in a blanket and having a great big mug of cocoa, Snowflakes Over Primrose Woods is an enchanting and feel-good read that hits all the right notes and will leave readers with a massive grin on their face.

This is a good book. The three main characters are Abbey, Lizzie and Rhianne’s. They are really good friends that live in Wishwell. It is Christmas time, could this be when all their wishes come true. It is a ver exciting book.

A delightful festive story involving three friends
What happens near Christmas and how their romances fend!
With plenty of twists and surprises in store
It keeps you turning pages, wanting to know more.

When Lizzie opens the door to find her family
She's over the moon, as happy as can be.
Her home may be small but there's room for them all
And for others too, who come to call.

There's one long term romance that hasn't yet started
But the plans he's made mean they'll soon be parted.
Is there any chance for them to follow their dreams
Or will it force them apart as so it seems.

A new boss and shocks are in store for Abbey, too,
Sam's reactions though leave her wondering what to do.
How will their relationships develop or fail
You need to read for yourself in this festive tale!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and this is my honest review
Of the complementary book for which I say thank you!

I hate to say this but this one was fairly predictable as a Christmas read. But sometimes especially during this time of the year you need something on the predicable side to give you a bit of a break.

We are back at Primrose Woods and catching up with Abbey, Lizzie and Rhianna.

Lizzie’s daughter and grandchildren have turned up and once Lizzie is over the shock she is delighted to see them. Rhianna is back from her travels and hoping to rekindle the spark between her and Luke. Finally Abbey and Sam have some troubles to overcome this holiday season.

It was great to catch up with these characters and see what Christmas brings for them all.

Lizzy is happy with her work and her love, Bill. As Christmas is getting nearer, she found her daughter and grandchildren arrived at her doorstep, back to stay while waiting for her husband to join them. Sam and Abbey is happy together although they did hit a rough patch in their relationship throughout the story while Rhi who is excited and scared to start her own business, has secretly fallen in love with Luke. But Luke is moving away for a better job prospects after the holidays.

This is a story filled with romance and focus on family theme. The storyline flowed very well and I love the unexpected twists in the story. Love the community in Primrose Woods and all the character mentioned in the book sound so real to me. There is characters of all ages. This book is the second book in the series and I get to reconnect with the characters from the first book. Overall it is lovely read to me.

Simply gorgeous!!! It felt great to be back and catching up with the residents of Primrose Woods. Finding out how Abbey and Sam, as well as Lizzie and Bill, Rhia and Luke, and what’s happening in their lives. It was fabulist too be back in the beautiful setting of primrose wood and to reconnect
A story, much more than romance, about finding happiness again and how wishes can come true.
I'm hoping there will be another book in this series.

I highly recommend this book.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I love the cover it is so cute and just gets you in the mood for Christmas. The story itself is a little more dramatic than what I thought. There is a bunch of side stories of different people around a little town. It is a pretty easy fast read, so perfect read for the weekend to get you in the mood for Christmas. I mostly liked all the characters I was thinking that the different sides stories were going to be more humors and light hearted but it turns more dramatic.

The same feeling of family and community continues in this second in the series and I really enjoyed the multi-generation aspect. There are several story strands. Lizzie and her family are looking to reunite around the festive time. Rhianna has worked out just who she would like to get closer to. Central to the story, we have Abbey and Sam whose relationship is moving on apace, although there one or two stumbles along the way.

This is a lovely setting with so many festive touches. Primrose Woods is a haven for nature so there is plenty of Christmas trees and festive greenery on show. As different story threads are woven together, you get a feel for the warm and inclusive relationships within the village. It is a lovely read for Christmas, such a comfort on a winter’s day. There is a real feeling of optimism, as different couples decide their futures.

In short: a warm, feelfood festive read

I very much enjoyed my return to Primrose Woods, but I don’t think this book was as good as the first one. This is because I didn’t think the relationships were as much as a novelty between all the characters, and their different dilemmas didn’t really grab me.

Continuing just a few weeks after the first book, I do think you benefit from reading this as a series because you already know the backstory between the different characters. In this way, it felt like I was returning to a familiar community and I looked forward to seeing what the writer would do with the people in this instalment. Reading this book, I thought I could spot potential plots for the next book in the series; I wonder if they will appear next year.

This time, Abbey and Sam face a bit of conflict when Sam’s past makes an appearance in their lives. It causes tension between the happy couple and reminds Abbey of her previous, failed engagement. On the other hand, Rhianna still holds a torch for Luke but he made it very clear in the last story that he would not want to pursue a relationship. This time, however, his actions seem to suggest otherwise. I actually started to feel quite cross on Rhianna’s behalf with all of these mixed feelings. Surely the man should know what he really wants? Finally, older character, Lizzie, has the surprise of her daughter returning from Australia. With her two young children in tow, Lizzie’s house is packed as she gets to spend some quality time with her grandchildren in the lead-up to Christmas.

All in all, each pairing of couples do face a bit of a test but, I don’t think the stories were as engaging. Instead, the story just felt like it was moving towards Christmas Day and the inevitable resolution of several dilemmas. There didn’t feel anything overly different from other novels set at Christmas and I was hoping the writer would have done something a bit different. Furthermore, it felt too predictable for my liking and I think this challenged my interest in the story.

Yes, there are some cute moments, such as when Lizzie’s granddaughter names a couple of animals. There is a good dumping of snow in the story and I enjoyed returning to see the elderly characters where Abbey works. But, I don’t think it was enough to create a refreshing story and I think I found myself frustrated that the book seemed to drag (when it really didn’t). The novel has all the qualities of a good Christmas read yet I think Steeples could have gone beyond these expectations just a little bit more.

Visit Primrose Woods for a guaranteed lovely story with romance, family and a dashing of snow too. This festive offering is ideal for December and will sure delight those looking for an easy bit of escapism from such a busy time of year.

With thanks to Boldwood books and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
