This the the second book in a series set the the picturesque Primrose wood a 100's site of WishWell.  But can be read alone.

Abby Carter and her boyfriend Sam how are now well eastabled in the communities and we just enter a few added extra from first book these peoples friends and families are all tied together in this small village

Jan and Mac, Rhianna and Luke, Connor and Ruby, Bill and Katy and then laterJackson Moody and Tara. Even the grandchildren Pip and Libby are touched upon showing us Christmas brings to the young family.

Even a small mention of the  characterisation of this novel. All with their friend have different things to add to make Christmas perfect weather that be Christmas tree sledging welding hulk or a barn owner and their very own Santa claus! Each chapter very different POV from the one before it  which I always enjoy.

I found Abbie's character endearing as the manager of  'the lodge' the care home for the elderly. She treats everyone there like they are her grandparents whereas as I know, living in one myself,  most managers have very little if anything to do with residences.

With conviction I can say the character of Hason was the complete juxtaposition between theses characters and our other nod to first book that is, which is not really needed and didn't really care to know more.

Threats of Christmas are beautifully interwoven into this novel, not like in others where you could pick it up in six months and call it summer at Primrose Wood although I'm sure you will be!

Are these news friendships groups going to pull together before they get dragged apart or will good conquer all for a happily ever after all?

Many thanks  to NetGalley and  publishe as I recieved a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

What a lovely sparkly Christmas book. All festive and snowy with gorgeous dog walks and handsome men buying champagne.
This was particularly festive and the descriptions of the snow and the festive activities were truly beautiful.
I really enjoyed Getting to know Abbey and Sam and the folks are the care home.
Rhi and Lukes slow burning love story was romantic and sweet.
This was just a lovely book to read.
Thank you netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Look, can we just make every day “read-a-Jill-Steeples-Christmas-book” day please!

This is just the perfect book to see in the winter months (even if I did read it in the warm weather of September).

I’ve only recently come across Jill’s books with another festive offering “Maybe This Christmas”, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, so of course I jumped at the chance to read this one.

I love the family feel in this book, directly with the related characters but also within friendship groups and within the wider community. I love how all the stories and the characters are linked. It brings more of a depth of character to the proceedings. There’s characters of all ages, babies, children, mums and dads, grandparents - it’s really lovely. You get to see how Christmas is for all ages, and it allows you to recapture that childish feeling that the festivities bring.

I do believe this is number two in the Primrose Wood series but you’d never know, you’d never feel like you’d been left out of the party if you hadn’t read the first one (I mean, I haven’t read the first one). I’m sure you may get the slight nuances if you have read the first, but it reads perfectly as a standalone novel.

Now, I’d like to know how I go about moving into this novel, how to live in this community?

It may be (at time of writing) another 114 days till the big day, but Jill Steeples has managed to fill me with that unique joy that can only be attributed to Christmas.

Lovely feel good book to read. It was a joy to read. Lovely characters. Great plot. The book was charming. Very well written. I’d definitely recommend this book. Idyllic location that set the tone of the book to perfection. Perfect seasonal book to get you in the mood for the festive season.

This was another lovely read from
This fabulous author this is the second book in the primrose wood series and follows on from where we first
Met the characters in starting over in primrose wood although it could be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the other book first to be able to fully immerse yourself in the story

This was a cosy feel good read which once I had started reading I couldn’t put down and read it in one sitting. It was fabulist too be back in the beautiful setting of primrose wood and to reconnect with and catch up with its inhabitants and to see how Sam and abbey were getting on and bill and Lizzie and Luke and rhia and to see want the future has in store for them. This was so much more than a romance story as was also a journey of self discovery and of how wishes can come true and how happiness can be found again with second chances and a little help from friends. It also had a really Christmassy vibe to it and would be perfect to read whilst curled up with a mug of hot chocolate.

This was a perfect feel good read and I would love a third book
In this series do further explore these characters lives and also to find out a bit more about the new inhabitants to primrose wood Jackson and his girlfriend and Katy and Brad

I really loved how all the characters were linked in this lovely romance from Jill Steeples. Set over Christmas the three main characters are Lizzie who works in the cafe in Primrose Woods, her partner’s daughter Abbey who is going out with Sam and Rhi who is connected through Abbey’s ex Jason. There are some real will they won’t they moments, as well as some heartwarming ones and the odd surprise! An easy romantic read that had a bit of everything. Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Boldwood books are just the best! Beyond excited to read this title. I always love Jill Steeples titles. I can’t wait to read this and enter Abbey, Lizzie’s, & Rihanna’s world. Especially the warm Christmas tie in makes this extra delightful! Full review to come very soon….

Winter has arrived in Primrose Woods bringing with it new loves, new adventures and warm hugs on cold days.
Abbey Carter, her boyfriend Sam and their trusty canine companion Lady, relish living in the picturesque village of Wishwell at the edge of their beloved Primrose Woods. The woods and the country park are full of activity as the festive season approaches.

Lizzie Baker is flat out at the Treetops café, serving all sorts of winter warmers, festive goodies and lashings of hot chocolate. And when her daughter and grandchildren arrive to stay, the run up to Christmas is set to be even more magical than she had expected.

Rhianna West has finally found the perfect man to fall in love with – if only Luke wasn’t moving away in the New Year.

As the snow falls on Primrose Woods, and the village of Wishwell sparkles with Christmas lights, could this be the year that every wish comes true for the three friends?
