Soldier Boy and Angel connect for one night and don’t see each other again for 5 years. A child is kidnapped and it’s sets off the mystery. I suspected all the wrong people and was surprised at the villain. Loved all the characters and I hope this is just the beginning of a new series. I love all Sharon Sala’s books and this was no exception. Great read that I didn’t want to put down.

Rusty and Cameron meet and connect and then don't see each other for five years. When they meet again Rusty, an FBI agent, visits relatives while recuperating and finds herself in the middle of a case. She never expected that the case would involve Cameron though. Lots of twists and turns, mixed with a beautiful love story.

Fast paced. Gritting and gripping, this one delivers!
Thank you, SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca, for the advance reading copy.
This is the first book of a new romance suspense series which I feel would go a long way!
This is the story of Rusty and Cameron, an army veteran. Cameron’s little niece gets kidnapped and he’s got to save her. However, things don’t end there. He has to stop and take down a human trafficking ring that gets revealed when he tries saving his niece.
I would tell you not to expect the book to start with the romance right away (which I regretted doing so!). The romance is good when it happens. It’s the second half that has all the best parts of the book. I would say you can read this as a standalone as the ending wraps up pretty well.
Trigger warnings for assault and violence.
The writing is so good and the characters are quite realistic.

Another winner,
I love books by Sharon Sala, and I’m really hoping this is the start of a new series. If not, it’s still a great standalone.
After a chance encounter turns into a night neither forgot, Rusty and Cameron have gone on with their lives. Rusty’s job takes her to Jubilee, Kentucky on a case, where she finds Cameron. Both are still single and have never let go of the memories from that night.
Among the romance in this book, there is plenty of intrigue and action. I enjoyed how well Rusty and Cameron worked together, and also how well she fit into his life, family and town. Reuniting with her only family was a bonus.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed this book. I have been a fan of this author for a while now. I always expect twist and unexpected turns in their books, and this story didn’t disappoint. From the very beginning, the book immediately pulls you. I’m a sucker for a dog in any story. So having Ghost, the German shepherd, was a pleasant surprise. That moment when Ghost and Cameron are running through the woods … my favorite part! I hope the author continues the more stories in Jubilee.

A girl gets the attention of a boy spending his last night before heading back to war. They both know that they will only get this one night together, but it will remain with them for the rest of their lives. This one night has ruined all others for them. Unfortunately, they only know each other as Angel and Soldier Boy. Five years later, things are about to change for this boy and this girl. Crime brings Rusty to Jubilee, Kentucky and back into Cameron Pope's life. Once there, will there be enough to keep her there, or will their past keep them apart?
Sharon Sala brings us the story of Rusty and Cameron starting from their past and how it shapes their present. The action starts right from the start with the prison outbreak and the kidnapping of this niece. This enables undercover agent Rusty back into his life. The action keeps you wanting to see what happens next with both their story and the case until you get to the last page. Even then, you are hoping there are more pages that will continue their story because you just want to hang out with not only them but with the townspeople of Jubilee. I enjoyed this story just as much as I have enjoyed and now miss the Blessings series and look forward to more from this author.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this privilege.

I enjoyed this so much! I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
I loved how the plot slowly unfolded and it was a great satisfactory ending!
I pretty much guessed in who it was but I still wanted to see if I was right and I was! Wow!
A little bit of romance made ot that much sweeter too!
I was sad to see it end.
In my opinion, this is her best yet! I will be buying a copy for myself in the future!
I highly recommend! 5 stars for some awesome writing!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own!

When I met my husband I was immediately drawn to him. As a result of how it worked for me I carry a soft spot for stories like this.
Cameron meets a curly red-haired woman one night. They spent a wonderful night together, but he’s gone before she wakes up. Its years later and Cameron is in Kentucky living his life. One day his niece is kidnapped, and he ends up saving her, but it opens a whole can of worms. The FBI is involved, and Rusty is on the case. Cameron is Rusty’s contacts and when she sees his file she is taken back to the night they met, all those years ago. Neither of them forgot and they learn they have loved each other all these years. Can they manage to figure out how to work together to take down a human trafficking ring?
This book was just so good! Its romantic suspense at its finest. My biggest complaint was that I wished there was a little spice in this one, and there was none. Had their been this would have been a five star read, but it is still a solid 4.5. This one will keep you begging and wanting for more. I didn’t want to put it down! I see this series taking off and having many dedicated followers, of which I will be one.
If you’re looking for a fast-paced romantic suspense book than look no further. This one is out March 7th, just in time for my birthday! The publisher, SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca, @sourcebookscasa, and @netgalley, who provided me this e-arc copy for review, has a winner on their hands with this one!

This is the first in a new series. Rusty and Cameron reconnect after five years, when they both end up in the small town of Jubilee to take down a human trafficking ring. It was a good mystery and romance, just what I’ve come to expect from Sharon Sala. The only issue was there were a lot of extra characters. Maybe because this is the first book in a new series—but it got a bit confusing. Still, I loved it and recommend.

They meet five years ago. They gave no names, no phone numbers, or no addresses. Cameron was on his way to a second tour and was special forces. Rusty was in town for meetings. It was a night they never forgot and fell in love.
Cameron is home in Jubilee, Kentucky with his white German Shepherd Ghost. His niece is kidnapped and Cameron and Ghost go on the hunt for her. When the kidnapper is caught, he was taken the baby to someone else and getting paid ten thousand dollars.
Rusty is a FBI agent and does mostly undercover work. She is sent to Jubilee, to visit family, and investigate a human trafficking ring. When she sees who is helping her, she can’t believe her eyes. She hoped Cameron had made it home safely and can’t believe her luck.
As they apprehend little players in the ring, they are looking for the main guys. When Rusty has to come out as an agent, she goes and stays with Cameron but is still working the case. Can they catch the bad guys and live happily ever after?
Plenty of action and suspense. Excellent story. A couple of things bothered me was when two or more people were in a scene, the dialogue was one after another and sometimes I had to reread to understand who said what. And some of the men were a little wussy ( to me ). This will keep you reading late into the night.
