Currently pregnant and this book was an anti-anxiety pill in book form. As soon as started reading this I felt a wave of relief. Even though this pregnancy isn't my first pregnancy, anxiety during pregnancy isn't like regular anxiety. This book provides some comfort and practical advice for the anxiety-ridden mother.

I thought this so helpful that I just went ahead and bought it for myself. Postpartum depression is talked about so much but what is not, is postpartum and maternal anxiety. I am so glad that this book was finally written on a topic that is affecting so many mothers. I specifically liked that the book was broken down into specific chapters about coping with a specific type of anxiety, OCD, specific phobia, trauma, panic attacks, etc.
A great read!

Thank goodness this book exists! Pre and post natal pregnancy can be a really anxious time for a mother, regardless of whether you already suffered from anxiety or not. This book deals with, what can be a really tough time, in a really sensitive manner. It covers all sorts of techniques and tools to help you work through your worries, fears and intrusive thoughts. You can progress through the step by step guide at your own pace, and there’s no judgement or criticism, just a helping hand.

Thank you to Cambridge University Press and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.
