I like the idea of this but found the story too difficult to follow. This could be down to the format and jumping around the pages not being as easy digitally so if you're really interested, I would urge you to check out a hard copy first.

I WANT to love this so much. Graphic novels plus choose your own adventure? Yes, please! However, it ended up being difficult to follow for me, as an adult, and I think it will be even more difficult for my young readers. So many of them are just learning how to read and manage the graphic novel format. The choppiness here will likely lose them and end up being a DNF.

A bit jumpy, with abrupt changes and short sequences. Admittedly, it's hard to review a choose-your-own-path book digitally, as flipping the pages is part of the experience, but it was entertaining enough for me to play through a couple of endings. The simplistic art style adds to the silly fun. Better thought of as a game than a story, particularly given some of the ridiculous things that happen.

A 'choose your own' style graphic novel?! That just sounds so promising, but sadly the end result was a bit of a letdown. The abrupt pages jumps make everything super choppy and the 'story' was just not strong enough to make up for it.

For Libraries: For J graphics, but I would definitely explore other options if you are tight on space and budgets.
