Witchy vibes and a good vs. evil story is the perfect way to start the fall season. Kristen Proby hits the perfect balance of paranormal in her newest romance.

Lucy Finch is one of the three that will struggle against pure evil. She meets her soul mate in Jonas and together they must face off against threats that are too vile to speak of. Lucy and Jonas quickly find that they are stronger with each other. Through this story we learn about Hallows End and how it came to be in existence. We also learn of another place trapped in time. This is the first of a trilogy that I cannot wait to read.

I loved, loved, loved this book. I couldn't put it down!

This is the perfect book for this time of year: fall, halloween, and witchy vibes.

Here we have Lucy, an actual witch from Salem. She runs her apothecary shop and spends time with her two best friends and cousins. She is kind, strong, and resourceful. And she misses her mom, who died a year ago and Lucy believes that whatever killed her mom, might be coming after her too.

Jonas is a mystery. Nobody knows him, but he seems to know a lot about the town and the people in it. He comes from nowhere one day and he and Lucy strike up a friendship that might just turn into more if he tells her his secrets and let her help. He is a desperate man but also very lovable.

I loved them together and they complement each other so well. This is a perfect paranormal romance with a plot and romance very well balanced.

It's another side to Kristen Proby's writing and it just shows that it keeps getting better and better.
I can't wait for the next book and the one after that. That is how much I love it.

Having enjoyed the Bayou Magic series, I couldn’t wait to get started on this new series from Kristen Proby. I loved how atmospheric and witchy the setting was; I felt like I was right there with Lucy and the gang. I did feel like it was written in a way that we were just going through the motions and that did take some time getting used to. The romance was very insta and I didn’t feel any real connection between them, if thought they were soul mates. Overall this was a very solid beginning and I can’t wait for the next installment.

This first in a new series by Kristen Proby is exactly what we have come to expect from her. I picked it up and couldn’t put it down. I was in fact late to work because I got sucked right into the story! Hallows End starts a new trilogy, a spin-off of her Bayou Magic series.

Set in Salem, Massachusetts, three hundred thirty years, six months, and a few days after the Salem witch trials, we get to follow Lucy as she meet Jonas who is not of her world. He is in fact from the time of the witch trials. Together with Lucy’s cousins, Breena and Lorelei, aunts, coven members, and with an assist from the spirit of Lucy’s mom, they start to tackle the curse that has Jonas and his people reliving the same 30 days over and over for centuries.

Buckle up for this one, and clear your schedule, because one XR you start, you won’t want to put it down either!

I wanted something witchy to read and I enjoyed this book. Since it is book one I wasn't sure how much of the story we would get with it but we got enough. So Lucy and her cousins are witches, along with Lucy's aunts. A witch dies every year in Salem but they don't know why. Along comes a handsome stranger named Jonas who fills them in about a curse. They need to try to stop the curse and maybe working together they can make that happen. Jonas and Lucy have a strange attraction to each other and find it hard to be apart. Jonas has many secrets to share with this coven. I look forward to reading the next book to see how it all continues.

Hallow’s End The Curse is the Blood Moon is the first book in the new Hallow’s End Series by Kristen Proby. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I couldn’t put it down. This was the perfect book for fall, and Kristen Proby always delivers great happily ever afters. It follows a family of witches that have a mystery to solve. It is suspenseful, sweet, and sexy. I loved Lucy and Jonas. They had great chemistry. The only problem is that live in different times. Can they make it work? The story involves a race against time to break the curse and an evil presence that wants to destroy it all. The only bad part is that I have to wait to next year to see what happens in the next part of the story. It’ll be worth the wait!

I didn't realise this author wrote paranormal romance so I was beyond intrigued when I spotted this. Set largely in modern day Salem this time traveling paranormal romance felt very atmospheric with almost a touch of Practical Magic to it as we meet the Witches and their aunts. A curse that is long overdue to reach its end is at the heart of this but nothing is ever cut and dried when it comes to magic because there's always the possibility of something getting twisted and in Hollows End things have certainly got out of hand !
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

I always enjoy books by author Kristen Proby!

This story follows Luciana Finch —a green witch who can’t quite shake the feeling something dark is heading to Salem. This was a fun read to start the "Fall" season.

As always I can't wait to read more from this author.

I was in the mood for a fall witch read and since I have read a couple of Ms. Proby's books before and enjoyed them I thought why not.

Well, I did not know what I was walking into, but it defiantly checked so many of the must haves in a book for me. I could not put this book down and that hasn't happened in a couple months. The instant love between Lucy and Jonas felt true, I am not a fan of instant love but this one worked well. I loved the bond between Lucy and her cousins, along with the bond of the aunts. As a first book in the series you get just the right amount of background for each character that you are invested in all of them. I know that Giles and Breena's book is going to be off the charts too!

A perfect fall/ Halloween read and I will be reading the rest of the series as it comes out.

Thank you NetGalley and Kristen Proby for an ARC copy of this book!

When I first saw this was a witchy romance taking place in Salem and includes time travel. I was a little skeptical if I would like it but I was intrigued.

I ended up really liking the story and each chapter kept me wanting more. I loved Lucy and Jonas, they were both such interesting characters that had depth to them. I really felt bad for Jonas for all he went through.

I would be interested in a prequel book about Hallow End before the curse. It would be nice to get to know more about Jonas and all the other residents who have been affected by the curse.

The only issue with reading an ARC copy is now I have to wait longer for book 2, and I really need to know what happens next.

This book is so unique and intriguing. Every chapter had me hooked all over again, and I simply couldn’t put it down until I’d finished. This author really knows how to pull the characters emotions out just for the readers to feel as if we were right there experiencing it with them. I have ALWAYS loved fantasy fiction, especially involving witches and magic, but nothing I’ve ever read was remotely similar to this story. I genuinely cannot wait to see what’s coming next for this coven in the series.
