What do you do when your ex-husband wakes up thinking you’re still married?
.
This is what Meyer faces when the hospital calls to say her (ex) husband was in a plane crash and thinks it’s two years prior!
.
What comes next is a rollercoaster of self-discovery, second chances, laughter, and tears that left me wondering how a plastic avocado could wreak such emotional havoc on me😭 (IYKYK).
.
My only complaint about this book is I wish it were longer! The ending felt ever so slightly rushed, and left me wanting more.

As a serial romance reader, I've really started loving second chance romance stories. Mostly because I find second chance romance stories have so much more emotion, depth and character development. Forget Me Twice was no exception.

This book was so enjoyable! I'm generally not a huge fan of any book with an amnesia component because I find it repetitive, predictable and boring. BUT, Carina nailed this one. The amnesia component was very small and actually added to my enjoyment of the book!

What I loved:
-Romance novel with a ton of plot.
-This one is a rom com that will actually make you laugh out loud (spider scene, etc)
-I couldn’t help but love Archie’s character. His personality was so much fun and just made me happy. He seemed so sincere and caring.
-I loved Meyer as a narrator. Her inner dialogue was both relatable and hilarious. Actually, all the characters are relatable in this one.
-The side characters in Forget Me Twice are incredible. You are able to get glimpses of their personality and they are just delightful. Especially Margaret.

I literally couldn’t put this one down. I read it in a few hours and now will be moving onto other Carina Taylor books!

All in all, I loved Forget Me Twice! If you love a second chance romance rom com, you have to check this one out!

Very excited to read/review this one as I love stories like this for some reason haha. I love how couples find their way back to each other (I think) and also caring for each other in their time of need. This book seems like it is going to be exploring some pretty serious issues though so that has me a little nervous. I hope it isn’t the husbands character who was abusive. Full review to come....

Have you ever brought your ex-husband home and pretended to still be married?

Yeah, me either.

When my local hospital calls to tell me that my husband has been in an accident, I try to explain the basics to them.

1) I am not married—anymore. (Archie Dunmore is a thing of the past.)

2) If there’s a husband in the hospital, it’s not mine.

Except Archie is back, and he’s been in an accident. One that has left him with amnesia. Yup. He believes we’re still happily married. Oh joy.

Too bad for me, the doctor believes it would be best for Archie to remember things on his own. He needs familiar surroundings to heal.

No big shocks.

No emotional trauma.

Which means I can’t tell him the truth.

And so I bring my ex-husband home until I can figure out how to ship him safely home to Arizona. (If only my post office allowed live packages…)

Archie bursts back into my life with all the warmth and joy of a freshly married man, confident that I’m the love of his life, and determined to fix the rift between us.

Having a loving husband in my house is getting awkward. Especially when Archie is desperately trying to remember what I’ve worked so hard to forget.

How do I tell him that he walked out on me?

What’s a girl to do with an amnesiac ex-husband at her breakfast table?
