Thank you netgalley for the early copy!

I was worried I wouldn’t like this-second chance romances are tough for me (my hubby and I are one and that makes me a bit picky about this trope) But…

I loved this SO much!
So. So. Much.
Archie and Meyer are a great second chance story.

It's not often I read a rom com and find applications to my life. As a middle aged mother of many, I'm more likely to a mother to the MC than find myself in her shoes. But I connected with Meyer on many levels. Her struggles and troubles are very real. I also loved that given the trope, the author was able to explore love from a "married" perspective.

Forget Me Twice is an engaging story of second chance love with plenty of Carina's particular brand of quirky characters and sarcastic, witty dialogue.

Cute and lighthearted!
Our main character has to deal with having her Ex- Husband back home after a year separated because he was in a plane crash and suffered with amnesia. This amnesia lead him to believe they were still happily married and she just wanted him to move back in with his mom. Any romance lover knows not everything is as it seems and there was definitely alot of cute romantic scenes in this book! The chemistry between these two was amazing! I loved the writing style of this author and I can say I'd happily read more from her again. The family dynamics were funny in this considering they both wanted the exes back together and kept hinting that it would work out. The side storyline of the main character and her small business was very clever. I generally found myself happy whilst reading this but I think the ending was quite rushed.

I finished this in a day… a DAY.

With this being my first second chance romance after swearing them off, I wasn't expecting much.

Archie and Meyer have been divorced for over a year, when she gets a call saying he’s been in an accident and has retrograde amnesia. Meyers given the task of helping him recover, even if that means he remembers how things ended between them.

Look, im not big on amnesia in books but this was done WELL. I was concerned id end up hating Archie or even the main characters, that the problems that came up would be dealt with poorly, This was not the case.

This book is well paced, the storyline is put together and executed VERY well. The characters are extremely lovable and its hard to not like them even when you’re meant to. I loved this book, I loved the relationships each of the characters had with each other. I loved the way it ended and I cant wait for it to be released

I loved this book! I have read all of Carina Taylor’s books, and I have enjoyed all of them. But I think this one might just be my favorite. It was sooo funny, and there were several times when I was giggling to myself as I read:)
I really liked Meyer. It was interesting because in some ways she really couldn’t handle confrontation. However, at the same time, she was constantly bantering with Archie. I loved that though, it was so cute! I felt like I understood Meyer, and her inner voice was hilarious. She was trying not to freak out while simultaneously freaking out.
Archie was a sweetheart! I actually really liked him. Honestly, I was a bit worried that he would be a jerk, but he was incredibly sweet and kind with Meyer. I think they both had issues to work through because he was all out there with his thoughts and feelings while she kept things inside. It was fun to watch them connect and figure each other out.
The pace of this was awesome! I couldn’t put it down, and I was so intrigued to see what would happen next. It didn’t feel stressful though which was really nice. It was a fun, clean read that I would recommend to any romcom lovers!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.

The premise of this was really cute, I love a second chance romance. I think for me, where it fell flat was the small details. It felt so much like wow, these two are really soulmates, and then I found out why they split up and it ruined it for me. A cute concept, I enjoyed the writing but the details ultimately ruined it for me.

The concept of the book immediately peaked my interest. A woman is called into an emergency room to collect her husband who has been in an accident. Except Meyer has been divorced for a year and hasn't talked to her ex husband, Archie, since he walked out. Archie though has amnesia and has lost the last 2 years of his life, so he has no memory of his and Meyer's falling out.

I have never read something like this before and am so glad I was approved for this ARC. I really liked the second chance love story and how Archie and Meyer were able to accept their own faults in the relationship. Overall I liked both the main characters. Sometimes they would both do things that annoyed me, but hey no ones perfect.

Meyer has really learned to speak her mind and go for what she wants in the last year and I think that helps her communicate better with Archie and be able to tell others what it is she wants in life. Some of the secondary characters were fun, like the old neighbor that knows everyone and everything that happens in the town. I could read a whole book on her.

This is definitely a good read for romance lovers who want a heart warming story for a couple that get a second chance at their happily ever after.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Carina Taylor knocked this one out of the park! I couldn't put it down! Second chance romance with an amnesia exhusband sweet romcom with humor. This one gives you all the feels!

*note- contains a handful of bible swears

I received an ARC from Netgalley and all opinions are my own.

What would you do if your ex-husband ended up in the hospital with amnesia? Bring him home and hope that his memory returns fast! That is what happens to Meyer. When the doctor tells her that it could be traumatic for her ex Archie to hear that they are no longer married, she realizes that she must keep the last year a secret and hope his memory comes back. In the meantime, things with Archie are like they were in the beginning and Meyer finds it hard to resist.

This book was a great second chance at love story. Archie was a charming character and Meyer had clearly made a lot of personal growth over that last year. The chemistry between the two was sizzling and it takes good writing to make that evident.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was my first ever NetGalley book- I signed up for NetGalley just to get this book, and it was worth the sign-up sheet, let me tell you.

Our heroine has come along way since her marriage imploded, but her growth is put to the test when her husband quite literally crashes back into her life. And doesn't remember their marriage imploding. Or anything leading up to it. He remembers being practically newly wed and now finds himself relegated to the guest room. Which is still a lot closer than she wants him, but his mom doesn't like to pick up the phone all of a sudden . . .

I loved the concept, and enjoyed the domestic way their lives go even after something as dramatic as a plane crash. Life is made up of these little things, and that is also when people fall in love. Or back in love. Or realize they never fell out of it . . .

I'm a big fan of this author, and even though I've read other rom-coms by her, this one hit different. Probably because it was only one POV. I kept expecting it to go dual, but we stuck with just her, which worked for the story. Hers was a quieter growth to watch first POV, so it was good to watch first-hand.

Also, can we take a moment to enjoy the gorgeous cover? Their faces. Those colors. *chief's kiss*
Note to more sensitive readers: there are some foul words, maybe ten maximum in the whole book. Also, as this is a romance between two married characters, so it is a bit edgier than two characters falling in love for the first time.

I would recommend this to all lovers of of rom-com older than YA.

2.5 out of 5

This was a cute, light and easy read. I did enjoy the entire story, however it was still pretty underwhelming. I would have loved to see more angst and tension going on, especially for a second chance romance between ex spouses but i still enjoyed it nonetheless.

This was god damn adorable! Second chances never looked so good. It was cute and endearing without being sickly sweet. Highly recommend this book for lovers of romance, comedy and dealing with an ex!

The premise of this is very interesting and ripe for a great romance. I felt like it all resolved a bit too quickly, but it was a very enjoyable read all the same!

This book has one of the cutest concepts EVER.

Meyer gets a call from the hospital, her ex husband has been in a plane crash and now has amnesia and thinks he’s still married to her.

Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and I simply just had so much fun reading this one!

this was my first ARC so i was really excited to read it. i was really intrigued when i read the synopsis of this book. imagine receiving a phone call informing you that your ex-husband, was in an accident and that he believes he’s still happily married to you! 🤭

while i had enjoyed reading this book, i found it to be a bit underwhelming. since the story is about second chances, i was looking for extra angst.

overall, i still liked this book. the banter between meyer and archie really had me smiling! i especially enjoyed that tarantula scene, which made me lol. this book was a fun and easy read! i could easily read this in one sitting if i wasn't too distracted by personal errands. 😅

thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is well-paced and written smoothly great to read on a rainy day!! The characters were soo fun and quirky! This was my first time reading an amnesia trope and I had a great time!! The plot was really intriguing and I loved how the characters worked through thier pasts, a second chance well deserved. I will say Meyer was quite annoying and the book felt slow at times but overall enjoyable!

You guysssssss… I loved this book so much. It just made me so happy. It was such a different plot from the romcoms I’ve been reading and it just made it so much fun. I adored all the characters so much. I really hope the author makes a book about Willa and Kingston. I 100% need that as a book. I will say that the amount of times this book made me absolutely sob was very high. I’m definitely going to be recommending this book to everyone. I really loved it.
