I really like second chance romances, learning the shared history, finding out the reasons for the characters to fall out, and also the hopeful message of having a second chance with the one that got away.
Meyer and Archie fell in love, married at a young age, and couldn’t make it work. Archie literally crashing back into Meyer’s life, only remembering the good early years of their marriage was a great premise. I loved how he’s all smitten and Meyer still guarded, not wanting to go through heartbreak all over again.

There were a lot of side characters, and while all of them were properly introduced and I liked reading about them, I actually wished the author skipped some of them. It’s harder to accept everyone following through with not telling Archie the truth about their broken marriage as well as, I could have used some more alone time between Archie and Meyer making amends, and show the growth they went through while separated.

But I’m definitely not complaining, because the author did a really great job dealing with the highly ambitious plot. You have to put aside the probability of the amnesia component plus the moral issues of (not so) little white lies to enjoy Forget Me Twice, and it worked out all really well for me.

Though the premise of this book is admittedly farfetched, Taylor manages to make it less so than it sounds! It was the premise and title that drew me to the book in the first place. I enjoyed both the main characters and their extremely unique situation. I also found it refreshing that Meyer was given a twist on the old reach-for-the-stars goal. It felt relatable to me personally.
A fun read!

This book was absolutely adorable. A very quick, easy, enjoyable read. It’s a clean romance (so no spice) but the second chance love story between Meyer and Archie is so dang sweet. I’d definitely recommend this book if you want to read something warm and comforting. 💜

What a fun RomCom! Meyer gets a call from the local hospital that her ex-husband was in an accident and has amnesia, He thinks it’s two years ago and they are still dhappily married. Meyer has to pretend they are still married to help him get his memory back after being told by the doctor that any shocks will not be good for his recovery.

I loved the humor of being in Meyer’s head and seeing everything from her point of view. She goes from annoyed to caring to worrying that she’ll get her heart broken again. She’s torn between letting her walls down and getting retribution for his leaving her.

Archie is so sweet and lovable. I liked his tricks to try get her back.

The author did a good job of showing each character’s individual growth and how they took responsibility for their actions.

This was a delightful second chance romance with amnesia and forced proximity, providing fodder for lots of humorous situations. If you are looking for an entertaining and heartfelt read this book is for you.

it's so hard to find a good second chance romance that i'm so glad i read this! i think BOTH meyer and archie were idiots for divorcing even though i understand they needed some maturing. at least they should've try counseling 🙄
archie was so loving and it was really breaking Meyer's heart 😭 they were both so stupidly in love i want to cry sometimes
overall i enjoyed this book. this is my second read from the author and i'll be reading more

This book was the perfect romcom! If you like second chance romances that will make you laugh, this is the one!
Meyer never through she’d see Archie again until she gets a call from the hospital that her husband was in an accident and now has amnesia. The problem? They’re not married anymore. But Archie is stuck two years ago and still thinks everything is going great between them. And the doctor thinks that telling him the truth about what happened would cause more damage than letting him remember on his own. So now Meyer has to pretend like nothing has changed.
This book was hilarious. Meyer was so relatable. And second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes. Forget Me Twice honestly reminded me so much of You Deserve Each Other which I loved and I loved this one too.

The avocado keychain 🥑
Gatsby the cat 🐈😂
Margaret!! Everyone needs a friend like her!!
Line dancing 🕺😂

So many moments had me laughing. Archie was so sweet I loved him and everything he did to win Meyer back 😍 This book was so much fun!

I loved this second chance romance. Meyer is taking car of her ex-husband who has amnesia. Archie doesn't remember they aren't together anymore so she has to pretend that things never changed. Meyer is such strong funny character, she not only takes the time to figure out what is happening with their relationship but she also has a good time doing it. So many funny points in this one. This was a delight to read.

I usually hate second chances romance books but I loved this. Meyer and Archie are the cutest and I love how from the first page to the last page we can see they have both grown as individual characters as well as a couple. This is a light hearted book that I’d recommend to anyone who wants a quick read that’ll make them feel butterflies and leave a smile on their face.

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for giving me an ARC of this book.

I love second chance romances, especially when the characters are ex husband and wife, but I usually don't read books with the amnesia trope because of the angst it brings to the story but this book was amazing. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down, it was so good, I finished it in a day. It's honestly become one of my favourite books of the year, no doubt. It was so nice to see their growth and them admitting their own fault in what happened; and their banter was chef's kiss.

This was such a cute book!!

Meyer gets a call from the hospital that her husband has been injured in a plane crash. The problem is, she doesn't have a husband. They got divorced a year ago, but he has amnesia and thinks they're still together.

I loved the plot of this book and how it was different than most romances that I read. It was so wholesome and sweet, but I also felt like it was realistic and showed the hard aspects of marriage and that it's not always sunshine and rainbows.

I also loved that it was closed door. Those are my favorite romances to read, and this one will be one I recommend in that genre! I gave it 4.5 stars! I loved it so much and felt very connected to the characters! I also loved the found family aspect.

I highly recommend to anyone who loves a sweet romance. I found myself smiling and swooning the entire time I was reading it.

"Heal him. Keep him out of my pants. Don’t let him break my heart again. Easy-peasy."

“You were in a plane crash. And you broke your head."

Meyer and Archie are hilariously adorable. They were married, got divorced now living together again after his place crashed and he has amnesia thinking their still married.
No wife wants to get a phone call saying their husband was in an accident, no ex-wife wants to get a phone call saying the ex-husband was in an accident and you're their emergency contact. That's the phone call Meyer gets and she brings Archie home and tried to help him get his memory back. Will that be all that comes back?
I loved every minute of their story. It was cute, and funny, and relatable, and a bit heart wrenching. They faced problems every couple faces and they ran from them instead of working them out. But in the long run the time apart helped eachother grow into the sting people they needed to be. And of course they may just gain that happy ever after they tried for the first time.
Thanks you Carina and NetGalley for my review copy of this awesome book.

Reading Forget Me Twice is the perfect way to prepare yourself for the unlikely circumstance of your ex-husband having amnesia and forgetting about the “ex” portion of his title. I loved the concept of this book and the sweet, quirky characters and funny quips were expertly executed. The simple truth is that this book was a pure joy to read and my exhaustion the day after I binged it is a telltale sign of how addictive it is. Forget me Twice is a romance you won’t forget even once.

This book was so sweet and funny! I love a second chance romance, especially when it’s in a marriage or previous marriage in this case. The plot was really unique and made for a really easy and enjoyable read.

Meyer was so relatable and quick witted and Archie was so endearing - making for a great couple!

I would have loved a little bit more angst nearer the end and before they ‘reunited’ as it did feel rushed.

Overall, lovely read that I easily consumed within a day and would definitely recommend, if you’re looking for a closed-door second chance romance!

This book is the perfect, easy-read, rom-com.
Meyer and Archie have been divorced for a year, when Archie suddenly shows up in Meyer's life again, but missing the last two years due to amnesia caused by a plane crash. Unable to tell Archie the truth about their divorce, Meyer pretends to be happily married to him, in the attempts that he will gain back his memories. The only issue being that she may be falling back in love with him.
I finished this book in less than 24 hours - I was hooked from the very start. I loved that it was clear that both Meyer and Archie had their own faults that resulted in the divorce, both characters aware that they weren't perfect. The side characters were all amazing - I especially loved Margaret, the elderly neighbour who loves to stick her nose in everyone's business; but I would've loved to see more of the other side characters such as Bailey and Willa and Kingston.
Overall I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone wanting a good fluffy romance.

Meyer and Archie were married. Then they were divorced. But Archie forgot about the latter after an accident and now, Meyer has to take him home and pretend that they’re still married. Everything’s complicated too because Meyer can’t decide between avenging her broken heart and protecting it so that it doesn’t get broken again. Because what happens when Archie finally remembers what he forgot and leaves again ?

You know when you read a romance novel, and since they’re mostly formulaic (no shade –I’ve read 160 romance novels this year alone…), around 75% there’s always this 3rd act conflict where the heroine and the hero get into a fight or some other thing before eventually getting back together at the end ?

So this book was like a really elongated version of that part. And I LOVED it ! Never have I ever loved a second chance romcom story this much. The amnesia plot (why I’d felt drawn to it in the first place) changed everything and the whole book felt like an exciting mix between second chance and enemies-stuck-together tropes.

Lovable male lead and a very relatable female one. The author has a fun writing style : I had a lot of fun being in Meyer’s head. There was just the right amount of angst and deception. At a certain point, the story feels like an homage to the unforgettable Friends quote : “They don’t know that we know they know we know.”

Honestly, this was a special book. I liked it so much that I stalked the author on Goodreads and picked up another book of hers immediately after finishing this one. And I have a new beloved romcom author now.

I wanted to love this one, because I really love Taylors' writing style. But It only stayed on LiKe.

I just couldn't fully connect with the character.

Just could not feel it.

Only 3.5 stars.

I loved the amnesia theme . They have been divorced for a year when a phone call made her go get her ex husband from the hospital with amnesia . The doctor recommended that it was best for him to not know that they were divorced so she had to pretent they were married . While taking care of him old feelings came back . What will happen when he will remember ? Why was he back in Oregon ? Will they have their second chance in love ?

An amnesiac ex-husband who thinks that he is still married. The heroine tries to keep herself from falling in love with him again.

I love amnesia storylines. There are some discussions of substance abuse and assault. However, the story has a lot of funny and romantic moments. I do like the heroine a lot and the 'new' hero is likable. They are smart and funny together. An engaging romantic story.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Here are a few things I loved about this book:
• the second chance romance
• hilarious banter
• Meyer and Archie both had faults and too
ownership of those
• forced proximity
• forgiveness

This book was so easy to get sucked into and binge! I loved the ex-husband trope and I really how much Meyer and Archie loved each other.

"Heal him. Keep him out of my pants. Don’t let him break my heart again. Easy-peasy."

Meyer & Archie have been going through some serious arguments which lead them to get a divorce. Both of them were equally at fault but gave up on their relationship and are separated for a year. But when Archie is suddenly caught in an accident, he loses his memories of that past two years and thinks that they're still happily married. Meyer has to take care of him and help him to avoid putting stress on his brain so she takes him to her house. For the most part, I enjoyed Meyer's character. She was witty, humorous, clever and independent. The situation which she had to deal with put her in a dilemma but she never lost her snark and mischievousness. Archie was just the perfect match for her because he knew her like the back of her hand and took efforts to really understand her thoughts. He may have been at fault before but he totally made up for his mistakes throughout the time they started living together again which showed that he was a good guy. This story was well written, funny, entertaining and Meyer & Archie's relationship was utterly adorable! I was rooting for them since the moment Archie held Meyer's hand in the hospital. The side characters weren't really an integral part of the story, I would have liked it more if they had a strong presence (I loved seeing Margaret's involvement though). Like Archie's mom is mentioned but she never make an appearance. Overall, there is great bante, an absolutely cute epilogue and plenty of laugh out loud situations, I strongly recommend reading this book.
