This was such a fun read. This being my first read by the author, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I definitely wasn’t disappointed! This book has great story pacing, character arcs, and witty banter and vulnerable moments. Loved this western romance with a touch of suspense!

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for an eARC of Wyoming Wild. A positive review was not required, only my honest opinion. All thoughts are expressly my own.

Sarah Eden does it again! I am amazed that each story she writes is always interesting and even captivating. Wyoming Wild is a sequel to The Sheriffs of Savage Wells and Healing Hearts. Our beloved US Marshall, Hawk, just found out that there is a plot to assassinate him. The problem is he doesn't know by whom or where they might strike. After some investigation, he ends up in the small town called Sand Creek with his Deputy Marshall, Paisley. Liesl, the sheriff's daughter, is trying hard to protect the residents of the town from her own crooked father. She finds friends in Paisley and Hawk and try to figure out exactly what is going on in the town. I really enjoyed this book, with all the mysteries and suspense that comes with it. It was a very enjoyable read, which was only enhanced by characters you already know and love. Definitely recommend this book. It can be read as a stand alone or as the 3rd book in the series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are voluntary and unbiased and are entirely my own.

This was my first book by Sarah M Eden. The book had a lot of action and excitement that kept it engaging. And there were many characters that were easy to root for, especially Liesl.

I did feel at times that the dialog was a bit uneven with characters either saying something that sounded too modern or leaning a bit too heavily into the old west dialect.

I was drawn to the book by the title. So I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t much detail about the setting. Certainly, there were plenty of wild things going on in this book to justify the title. But I would have loved a few vivid descriptions of the area and the towns.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for making this ARC available.

What a fun throw back into the wild Wyoming West! I loved revisiting Hawk and others, while meeting new characters. It just keeps me wanting more! I'll have to go back and read them all again. Thank you for an amazing story to escape into.

Wyoming Wild, by Sarah M. Eden, takes place in the year 1876. John Hawking spends his days fighting crime as a U.S. Marshall. He wants the territory of Wyoming to be a safe place to live and raise your family. Hawk thinks he will accomplish this end by clearing out the criminal element!

Lisel Hodges has been living under her father’s autocratic rule her entire life. As the sheriff of Sand Creek, her father’s firm rule has touched many lives and not often in a positive way. After Lisel hears that her father and his friends are planning to kill a specific U.S. Marshall, she sneaks a message out of town by telegraph. Upon receiving this warning, John shows up in Sand Creek, along with his deputy, posing as a farmer trying to build a new life. He has no idea what to expect or who is intent on ending his life!

After Hawk meets Lisel, neither how their lives are about to change. Lisel and her mother are moved to a safer location; however, everyone soon learns that no place is as safe as you would hope. The Marshall soon discovers that someone in his inner circle may be adding to the danger!

Hold tight to see a major confrontation by the final page of this tale!

The Savage Wells series just gets better and better with each book!
This book by far had the most action and suspense, with a lot of those “old West” elements you are familiar with. I kept wondering and guessing at how everything would work out, and really enjoyed all the plotting and action-packed moments the characters did/had. I loved all of it from the first to last page.
Returning to the town of Savage Wells is always as fun and interesting as it’s occupants are. Sarah M. Eden has a beautiful way of creating that hometown feel and showing the importance of community. I’ll gladly be reading any future book based in or around this great town in the late nineteenth century Wyoming Territory. And let’s not forget the amazing amount of research Sarah puts into her books. That is something I personally appreciate a lot, when you can tell an author has really done their research and it just enriches the story.
And let’s not forget about the sweet romance between Hawk and Liesl. It had a bit of instant-love, but also felt like an enemies-to-lovers sometimes, to “you’re saving my life how can I not love you?” vibe. Basically it was golden and the tension and chemistry between these two was wonderful. Hawk’s was the story I didn’t know I needed until this book.
Wyoming Wild is the perfect read for anyone looking for some good old West action with the perfect amount of clean romance. Now I’ll just be excitedly waiting for the next installment in this great series!

This series has by has great female characters. Liesl is strong and determined to do what’s right even though it might cost her everything. And Hawk is a great hero of the west.

While this isn’t my favorite of Sarah M Eden’s series’, it’s still an enjoyable read with a unique story.

Thank you NetGalley for the e-arc.

While this book is the third in the Savage Wells series, it can be read as a stand-alone. Readers new to this series will miss some of the in-story jokes, but enough background is given to catch new readers up.

Hawk's story has been eagerly anticipated by Sarah M. Eden fans and it did not disappoint. The action starts off in the first chapter and keeps right on moving. Hawk is brilliantly matched with a true heroine in Liesl Hodges who has courageously worked behind her father's back to save her townspeople from her father's corruption. She finds a champion when Hawk arrives to investigate.

I read this book in one sitting because I simply couldn't put it down. On a side note, make sure to read the dedication. It is truly one of a kind!

Wyoming Wild took me for a ride in the wild west. Sarah Eden's storytelling was so vivid it left me dreaming about shoot-outs and heists after finishing the book. Marshall Hawks has met his match with Liesl. She is quite the firecracker. From start to finish this story kept the adventure going until the guns stopped blazing. With a crooked set of law men set in a tiny town in the corners of Wyoming and some feisty characters, this story has everything a western should have. Sarah Eden's regencies drew me to her as an author but man these wild west stories bring her writing to a whole new level.

What a wonderful addition to the Savage Wells series! I throughly enjoyed seeing a softer side of Hawk and a strong, united side of Savage Wells.

US Marshall John "Hawk" Hawking is every but his reputation, or at least he thinks he is. Known as a cold-hearted Marshall, he runs the Wyoming territory with a strong hand. When a telegram comes is received stating that there is a plan to assassinate him, Hawk gathers his best deputy, Paisley O'Brian, and they head to Sand Creek, where the message originated. Under the guise of a farmer and his sister, they look to sniff out who sent the message, who plans to assassinate him, and, if possible, which sheriff is causing problems.

Liesl Hodges was doing everything thing she possible could to protect the citizens of Sand Creek from the men the terrorized the small town. She would warn them when she could and provide any monetary means she could to help with the property taxes levied against the families. But she could only do so much, as the terror came from her father, the sheriff and his cronies, men who held positions of standing in their small town. It will take all the courage and bravery she has to help take down this notorious gang of criminals and their ring leader.

I just love the people of Savage Wells and cannot wait to read more of their love stories and adventures!

I love when likable and/or intriguing supporting characters get their own books, so Wyoming Wild made my day. It was fun to learn more about Hawk and to have new characters added to those we love in Savage Wells (assuming you’ve read The Sheriffs of Savage Wells and Healing Hearts).

Not only was there a sweet romance but there was action and suspense as the main characters were a teamed up in support of justice. I liked how it kept me guessing.

It was a little hard to read all the “ain’t”s and similar words, but they felt true to the characters. One thing happened near the end that had me wondering if I’d missed a page, but on the whole it was a very enjoyable story.

Another excellent entry in this series about Savage Wells. I confess I had read and thoroughly enjoyed the earlier ones, especially the most recent about the MacNameras, so was already predisposed to like this one. I think it would work perfectly well as a stand-alone, and you could certainly go back and read the previous books after reading this one with no problem. This entry focuses on Marshal Hawking, and there are plenty of glimpses into the lives of the characters who were central to the earlier stories. Some good humor, mystery, danger, and of course a sweet love story. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

The minute this book showed up on my Kindle I dove in! It was a lovely reunion with Paisley, from The Sherriffs of Savage Wells, and I was ready to dive into the gruff Hawk's character and watch him find love and balance in his life as a U.S. Marshall in the wild west.
I liked the way the author helped us see the struggles of a daughter just trying to protect the townspeople from a bad Sherriff, the dangers of the time period, and that when we trust others we are stronger together.
I enjoyed the mysterious aspect of who were the people working with the dirty Sherriff, and it took me to the very end to realize just who was masterminding things.
Hawk has realistic struggles of his own. How does a man who has to do a dangerous job with risk both protect others while not closing off his heart entirely? Is it even possible?
This book was a great western romance and adventure!

I have been eagerly waiting for another book in this series and I was not disappointed. Wyoming Wild is the third book in Sarah M. Eden’s Savage Wells series. Hawk finally got his own book and it was so good!!!
Liesl was such a strong character. She was fighting a losing battle and yet she did not give up. I liked how Liesl looked out for those around her and how she cared for the people in her town. But she was also at the end of her rope. It was sweet to read about Hawk trying to protect her. Liesl had been carrying a great burden on her shoulders, but Hawk was willing to help her. However, Liesl has learned to never trust lawmen, will Hawk be able to break down her walls before it is too late?
Hawk is an awesome character, it was fun to get to see more sides of him. He was determined to protect those under his care. I liked how Hawk was able to be himself with Liesl. She brought out the best in him. However, Hawk was struggling to find the balance between the carefree man that he was with Liesl and the weight that came with being a US Marshall.
Hawk and Liesl were such a cute couple. They completed each other and helped each other be better. Liesl helped Hawk relax and learn to enjoy life and Hawk helped protect Liesl and shoulder the burden that she carried. The romance was sweet and the plot was so exciting! I was engaged the whole time. I love how Eden is able to weave such a thrilling story. I wanted to know how Hawk and Liesl were going to take down Liesl’s father and the men who work with him.
I, of course, highly recommend all of Eden’s books that I have read and this one was no different. It was a great book and it was fun to see old characters again. Wyoming Wild and all of the Savage Wells books need to be on your TBR.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.

I've read this whole series, and as much as I loved Sheriff of Savage Wells. I didn't love the second book Healing Hearts. But this one, definitely made up for that. Though you don't need to read the first two. I would, just so you know who the characters are and understand some of the little one liners.

The story starts off in Sand Creek where Liesl's father is the corrupt sheriff. She spends her time trying to make up for that fact by helping the townsfolk in anyway that she can. Hawk receives notice of the death threat and goes off to investigate in the same town. The story bounces back between POV's of the two characters. There are a few challenges to overcome, some drama, and an unexpected villain all wrapped up in a nice little package. What a story, I LOVED it. And I loved both characters, they were perfect for each other.

It's no secret that I love Sarah's writing style and this book is exactly what I have come to expect from her. It's fun, not too heavy, flows well, and is sweet and clean. Definitely recommend for all audiences and will be putting this on my must buy list.

I received a copy from the publisher for my honest review.

Wyoming Wild can be read as a stand alone novel but I would consider it book #3 of the authors Savage Wells series. US Marshal John Hawking receives an anonymous telegram warning of a threat against his life. Deciding to investigate he takes his deputy, Paisley O’Brien (wife of the sheriff of Savage Wells), to the town he suspects is the message originated. Posing as a brother and sister farmers they quickly learn all is not well. Liesl Hodges is 23 and the daughter of a violent and corrupt sheriff. She does her best to help her mother and others in town avoid her abusive father and his cohorts. When meeting Hawk and Paisley she tries to warn them the town can be very difficult. Hawk is protective of her and tries to uncover the various plots happening around him.

This is a wholesome, western romance. There is violence (shootouts) and some abuse mentioned. I thought some of the phrases uttered might better fit 1960s tv westerns but it adds to the charm. The romance is sweet with Liesl making some of the first moves (kiss on the cheek) on the stoic Hawk. I’d like a little more romantic passion, but know Eden only writes clean for language and intimacy in books. I enjoyed seeing characters I knew from the Savage Wells books. Even though Liesl is young she has been through a lot and is a good fit for the man who never thought he’d settle down.

WYOMING WILD by SARAH M EDEN is a most enjoyable romantic thriller that takes place in the Wild West in 1876.
The heroine is the courageous and witty Liesl Hodges, whose main aim in life is to not only protect her mother from her brutal father Sheriff Hodges and his minions, but also to help the people of Sand Creek to stay out of his way. She is wary of lawmen because of her lying, murderous father, and her trust in them is further shattered when she finds out that the kind farmer, John Butler, is actually US Marshall John Hawkings, the very man her father wants to kill. Trust is important to her - will she ever be able to trust John again?
I like the way Hawk shows he does have a heart after all as he spends time with the brave and lovely Liesl. I also like the witty repartee between him and his lawmen friends.
That is all I am going to tell you for fear of spoiling things for you.
I highly recommend Wyoming Wild as a well written novel that is not only an exciting page turner but is also inspirational as we read of those who overcome evil with good. I literally could not put it down!
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Shadow Mountain Publishing. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

"Wyoming Wild" is a book by Sarah M. Eden, one of my favourites authors. Although my absolute favourite books by her are Regency romances, I was curious to discover what her Western Romances were like. I never read the previous books in this series, but "Wyoming Wild" can be read as a stand-alone.

Hawk, a US Marshall in Wyoming, received an anonymous telegram warning him of a plot to kill him. Investigating it, he arrives in Sand Creek, a town that hides many secrets. One of the person that holds many secrets is Liesl, the daughter of a violent and corrupt sheriff. But as they get to know each other, they realise that all is not as it seems, and that both their lives are in danger.

I enjoyed the book - the plot is interesting, with different complex elements fitting together, the characters are well developed and their dialogs dynamic. I would enjoy reading the previous books in this series!

Her father's the sheriff, but he's bad news - violent and corrupt. Liesl loves her community, despises the injustice, but alone she does all she can do by sounding quiet warnings to those in danger. When she overhears his plot to kill a US Marshal, she risks her life to get a warning out by telegram.

When the famed Marshall Hawking reads the message, he's not surprised at yet another death threat, but at the whispered insinuations of a prisoner that there's a lawman in his jurisdiction on the wrong side of justice. He heads to Liesl's town undercover in order to gather information, but he stumbles on a network of corruption even he didn't imagine possible.

The home she grew up in didn't let her trust men easily. His work didn't allow him to trust his heart. They made mistakes in their friendship along the way and started to learn how to lean on each other. I enjoyed the pace of the story from undercover to trial, and the suspense as the mystery unfolds. Plus, you'll get a good western showdown!

This is the third book in the Savage Wells series. I haven't read the previous two, but that didn't hinder understanding in this one. (Although I'm gonna go back and read the others now!)
