Where suspense, intrigue, and romance meet!

Sarah M. Eden does it again with an amazing book! Wyoming Wild is the 3rd book in the Savage Wells Series and is just as wonderful as the first two books.

Hawk is a US Marshal tasked with keeping his area of the wild west safe. Liesl is the fearless daughter of a corrupt Sherriff in one of the towns Hawk is tasked with keeping safe. She spends her time saving the citizens of her town from her father and the corrupt town council. When he goes undercover in her town, their hearts collide. But he has a job to do, one that could put her and her mother in danger. She has a town to save from her corrupt father. Can they find a way to work together and keep everyone and themselves safe from her father and his group of corrupt miscreants? Will their feelings for each other be able to withstand the chaos of taking down her father?

If you love romance with suspense and intrigue thrown in then you are going to love this book!

Hawk finally got his story. ❤️
Hawk and Liesl are a great match for each other and I so enjoyed reading how their lives became intertwined.
Although there is plenty of action, I would still call this a light hearted romantic adventure. ❤️

This is another terrific book by Sarah M. Eden! Hawk and Liesl are both such great characters, each with their own worries and burdens. I liked seeing how they worked together and were able to open up throughout the book. The chemistry between them wasn't quite as pronounced as it was between the couples in the previous books in the series, but they're such a good match for each other and they just felt right together. I love the secondary characters, too--I don't think it's possible to read one of her books and not find at least one character you hope will be getting his/her own book in the series soon, and that definitely happened here. The plot was really interesting and the pacing was good. Just all around totally enjoyable. After reading this one, I want to go back to the beginning of the series and re-read all three books!
4.5 stars.
I read an ARC provided by the publisher. All opinions are my own.

I loved this book! Marshall John "Hawk" Hawking is a respected and feared US Marshall in the Wyoming territory. He has been told he has a heart of stone. But no one is totally immune from love. When he receives a telegram that an assassination attempt is being planned for him, he goes to investigate, undercover. He meets Liesel Hodges the corrupt Sheriff''s daugther. She is always going about trying to save the people her father and his cronies are trying to hurt. Danger, adventure and a bit of romance ensue.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a great western tale, adventure, clean romance and great writing.

A nice slow read for those rainy days. I felt like overall the story didn't quite lean adventure or romance but just idled inbetween. I took three days to read when I just winded down for the night. I enjoyed the writing style and sometime a slow burn is all you want after a long day :)

WOW! This book is phenomenal! It is full of heart, romantic, heartbreaking, gripping, suspenseful, hopeful, and so much more. Whenever I picked up "Wyoming Wild", I was whisked back in time, and went on such an emotional journey with this story.

Sarah M. Eden is such a phenomenal writer! Her writing style is visceral and vivid to the point where I, as the reader, felt completely immersed in the world of the book. Her storytelling had me hooked from the first page to the last, and I found myself simply not wanting to put this book down.

Liesl is such a brave, compassionate, caring, strong, loving, and determined young woman. She does everything she can to help protect those around her from her father, Sheriff Hodge, who is beyond horrific. When Liesl overhears her father and a few others discussing murdering John Hawking, she immediately springs into action in the hope of notifying him anonymously to help save his life.

Marshall John Hawking is such a brave, kind, and hard-working man who wants everyone around him to be safe. When he receives an anonymous warning that someone has threatened his life, he goes undercover to find out what is really going on, and to help those in need.

(Possible Spoilers!)
Oh my goodness! Liesl and Hawk are so sweet together! They truly bring out the best in each other, and are there for one another. They listen and understand one another deeply, and their love is so beautiful.

If you enjoy Historical Romance, I highly recommend this book! It kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next, and I often found myself holding my breath on the edge of my seat hoping everything would work out okay. I look forward to reading what Ms. Eden writes next!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Shadow Mountain Publishing for the ARC of this book, and to Shadow Mountain Publishing for the physical ARC as well, it is incredible. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and was so happy to hear a third one was being published. Wyoming Wild did not disappoint and is probably my favorite of the series.

This story is a wonderful blend of romance, danger, intrigue, suspense, and adventure. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't' t put it down. It was fast paced, had a great plot twist, complex characters, and a very satisfying ending. If you love a good historical western romance, I highly recommend this one!

This can be read as a standalone, but reading the first two books will really add to your enjoyment.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Shadow Mountain Publishing for an eARC. All opinions are completely my own.

Read it for the:
• Action and suspense
• Brave Heroine, Noble Hero
• Fun side characters
• crooked Shireffs

Steam: Sweet, Kissing only
Content: violence, murder, abuse
Final Rating: 4/5

This may be my favorite genre Sarah M. Eden writes. A sweet romance set in a Western backdrop, this is a quick read that can be finished in a day.

I enjoyed all the characters, but mostly the two main leads Marshall John Hawking, and Liesel. The unlikely pair had to work to trust each other, but I found their romance to be sweet. I loved that Hawk slowly realized it was alright to find a balance between the hard-hearted man of justice and the gentleman he was when he didn’t have to wear his badge. Leisel was incredibly brave, and selfless-especially coming from a home with an abusive father in a position of power as town Sheriff. She was exactly what Hawk needed. While I enjoyed the story overall, I felt the plot slowed at moments. I also had mixed feelings about the dialogue, some of the expressions used felt odd. I would recommend this read to those who enjoy clean Westerns or want a quick, easy read.

*I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Loved every minute of it. Deliciously unpredictable and stunningly descriptive. It was the embodiment of the Wild West in ways that were just exactly right and just exactly thrilling.

As a huge fan of the first two books in this series, I was so happy to be able to return to Savage Wells and it did not disappoint!

Marshall John Hawking is proud of the fact that he has heart of stone but finds it starts to soften when he meets Liesl, a woman who shows immense courage trying to save her town from her father how is a corrupt sheriff.

Sarah does an amazing job weaving together a story of adventure, mystery, suspense, and romance. The book started off with a bang and the pace just kept right on going and I enjoyed every second of the ride. Loved the plot twists and dang, that climax was absolutely fantastic!

This is a story about finding love in a time of trouble, about learning to trust your heart. Sarah is so masterful at writing stories with endearing characters with lots of heart and this book is such a great example of that.

I was thrilled to have lots of page time with my favorite characters from previous books as well as meet some new memorable side characters. Keeping my fingers crossed we get another book in this series, maybe one for Andrew or Ensio, or even Tansy.

This can be read as a standalone but honestly, why would you not want to pick up the first two? They are absolute must-reads for any fan of historical western romance.

I received a complimentary copy of this book but a positive review was not required.

Fabulous!!! I read it in one sitting and didn't want it to end. I loved being back in Savage Wells with the characters that I've come to love. Especially Hawk. He's been working hard to get the territory under control and bring peace. Most everything is fine until he discovers an assassination plot against him. And that leads him to a surprising small town in his territory and brings about suspense, fun, laughs and lots of Western struggles, drama and protection.

This book is a wonderful story of mistaken-identity, enemies to more and much more goodness! I loved the suspense and sort of mystery throughout the story. I thought I had it all figured out but guess what...I didn't! I love how Sarah M. Eden can surprise me and throw out the unknowns. And she keeps me turning those pages quickly cause I just have to know what is going to happen.

And let's talk about the amazing relationship between Hawk and Liesl. These two are so much fun together. They have insecurities and real legit struggles in their lives and pasts. Things that make it hard to trust. Yet I loved how they had to come to learn to trust each other through the different circumstances they faced.

It was great seeing the gang of Savage Wells throughout this whole book. The relationships between all of them and how they include new comers to town and help protect them was a wonderful aspect of the book.

And of course I can't forget mentioning the sweet love story. *Happy sigh* Love these two! One of my favorite aspects of reading is the relationships. I love watching the friendship grow and the chemistry grow as well. The trust and building up of each other and of course the sweet kisses. And Sarah M. Eden sure delivers with this one!

Content: Clean. This book does have very mild moments of peril. Talk of characters who hurt others, but only seeing them bruised/or having some scrapes after the fact. Some gunshots and bleeding. Nothing graphic. The romance is clean and sweet with only a couple sweet kisses.

I received a copy from the publisher, Shadow Mountain Publishing, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

I haven’t read much from this author but this story made me a new fan. This is an engaging novel filled with intrigue, adventure, romance and mystery. I enjoyed how the author was able to write this novel without giving away or making the main villain obvious. There are quite a few bad characters, The chemistry and romance between Hawk and Liesl was believable and developed at a good pace but I just wish the author had lingered there a while longer.

Wyoming Wild by Sarah M. Eden
This story was my favorite in this series! Which is saying something because I loved the first two. The characters are so real and I would love to visit Savage Wells.
John Hawking (Hawk) knows as a marshal he must be cold hearted, but when he meets Liesl Hodges he wishes love and family could be part of his life. While he struggles to resist his growing feelings for Liesl, he must keep her safe as she gets entangled in a dangerous plot.
I loved Hawk from the previous two books and I love him even more now. Liesl is smart, brave, and kind despite her harsh upbringing. She is such as an inspiring character and I love seeing a strong woman lead.
All I know is I now want Mr. Larsen's story too.

You will love Liesl & Hawk's story. I loved seeing both sides of Hawk and so felt for Liesl as she tried to make sense of the two versions of him. This book had so many strong female characters that I appreciated. It was so great to visit Savage awells again and I love how much they welcomed Liesl and her mother.

First, let us just stop for a minute and look at this gorgeous cover! I knew when I saw this cover (and that the book was written by Sarah M. Eden) that this was one I wanted to read. I really enjoyed this historical Western romance.

This is the third book in the Savage Wells Series, but can easily be read as a stand alone. In fact, I haven’t read the first two books in the series and I had no trouble reading this one. The first two books immediately made their way onto my TBR!

Marshal John “Hawk” Hawking keeps a tight rein on his territory, at least he likes to think he does. When he’s tipped off that his life is in danger, he goes under cover to investigate.

Liesl Hodges lives in fear of the Sheriff of Sand Creek. She does everything she can to help the town and stop the sheriff, who also happens to be her father.

When John Hawking shows up in Sand Creek pretending to be a farmer, Liesl befriends him, but feels betrayed when she finds out who he really is.

I really enjoyed both of the main characters (as well as the secondary characters), their character arcs, and the pace of the story. There were some twists and a bit of mystery. I did solve a couple of unknowns, but certainly not all of them and I actually blamed the wrong person for being the bad guy behind it all.

Both Hawk and Liesl are extremely well written. Liesl has a hard time trusting, reasonably so after growing up with a corrupt Sheriff for a father. After feeling betrayed by Hawk, she finds it hard to trust him again. He, being a law man, doesn’t think he can have a romantic relationship. They both had things to overcome before they could be together and I liked their slow-burn journey.

My only complaint is the frequency of the word ‘ain’t’. While it is commonly used in the south and I’m sure it was used during the time period depicted, it did seem a bit much in a few places. That being said, it didn’t ruin the story for me.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of Wyoming Wild. All opinions are my own.

I am a big fan of Sarah Eden, and this book did not disappoint. It was so enjoyable to revisit the characters of Savage Wells and come to know some of them better.

The plot was quite complex, but it came together in a believable and understandable way. It did not require a large suspension of belief, and seemed consistent with what we know of the characters. Loved the surprise twist at the end!

The characters are wonderful in this book. I am so glad that Hawk got his happy ending, and with a woman who seems both worthy of him and strong enough to be his equal. I really appreciate the effort it must have taken to write Liesl’s character and balance her strength and fear, her trauma and compassion, her need to help and be helped. We need more characters who show the complexities of dealing with trauma and abuse while still moving forward.

While this book can be read as a stand alone, there are two previous books written in this setting of Savage Wells, Wyoming, and I do recommend both of them. Both books contain characters who deal with serious problems - PTSD, Alzheimer’s, caretaking, abuse - along with the more commonplace issues of loneliness, relationships, and the responsibilities of life in a frontier town. As always, Eden deals with these problems in a realistic and uplifting way. One of the things I appreciate most about her books is that they leave me feeling hopeful which strengthens me for dealing with my own trials.

I loved this book! I’ve never met a Sarah Eden book that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy and this book was no exception.

I really loved the development of the relationship between Hawk and Leisel. Sarah Eden writes beautiful interactions that truly make you feel the emotions of the characters. I do wish the romance would’ve been explored a bit more, the ending seemed a bit abrupt from Hawk’s perspective.

Otherwise, this story is amazing. The conflict was well thought out and well written, and the characters were multidimensional and interesting to get to know. Another solid win from Sarah Eden!

I thought Liesl was a great character. She had a rough life but instead of letting it drag her down she did everything she could to help others. Marshal Hawk was a bit rough around the edges yet still very like able. The town of Savage Wells really brought a homey feel to the story. Overall a great book with well written characters, plenty of suspense and just the right amount of sweet romance.

Wyoming Wild captured my attention from the beginning. Our heroine, Liesl, overhears her belligerent, abusive father (who happens to be the sheriff of a small town in 1870s Wyoming territory) discussing with his cronies the murder plot of the territory’s US Marshal. Despite her fear, she feels she has to warn him and the story that entails is riveting! Our hero, John Hawking, is a US Marshal known for having a heart of stone, but that all changes when Liesl comes in the picture. This is a stand alone novel or can be read as a third in the series about the town of Savage Wells. Those characters are discussed, but the reader does not have to have read the other books in order to read this one. One of my favorite tropes in forced proximity and this novel encompasses that. The banter is cute with great chemistry between the main characters. Definitely recommend!

I received this as an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
