Sarah brings us back into the town of Savage Wells and I am happy she did!
(100% recommend reading the prior books in the series before this one. It says it can be read as a standalone but the side characters will be so much more to you when you know their full past stories. )
Marshall Hawking and Liesel’s story was a sweet/closed door western romance. They team up together to bring down her father who is a crooked sheriff and his slimy cronies.
Humor, action, romance, western slang… it checked all the boxes. There was so much to love about this story.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me a copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

If you've been waiting for Marshal Hawking to get his story, Wyoming Wild doesn't disappoint. This is the third book in the Savage Wells series, and I loved being back in the small town I love so much. There is something so magical about the way Sarah weaves mystery, suspense, and romance to make a story that warms your heart. I will ready anything she writes and love it.

I am so glad our favorite US Marshal got his lady!

Content warning: murder, mention of physical abuse, closed door with chaste kisses

Wyoming wild was a great novel. I enjoyed the intrigue and the romance.
Some of my main complaints are that Liesel is not a believable victim of abuse. I know people who have endured these situations and she is definitely much more confident and headstrong than is believable. I really did like her character. Her mother however was written well. There were also some plot holes that bothered me and some conclusions that the characters make that didn’t make sense. But all in all it was a fun read. I haven’t read other books in this series and I was able to understand most of what went on in this novel.

I loved reading Hawk's story. Sarah Eden has a way of creating characters with rich, believable backgrounds. We follow Hawk and Paisley as they go undercover to investigate threats against Hawk himself. Liesel lives in the town where they are undercover and she and Hawk create a friendship under false pretenses. I loved how the story worked through the barriers to their romance and the trust they had to develop for each other. The twists and turns the story took before the end were entertaining and enjoyable. It is a great addition to the other Savage Wells stories.

I love Sarah Eden's books. I've read so many of them over the past decade and it's so nice to always read a new story from her. I do feel like some of her newer books are missing some of the magic of her early books... maybe they are getting rushed? This was still a solid read and if you are a fan of Eden it's worth your time.

Oh Hawk! I have loved him since the first book in this series but even more in healing hearts which is the second one. So this story I was anticipating so so so much. It was everything. I loved it all. I love Hawk because he is loyal, and fierce, and strong and also knows how to protect and help his town. Liesl was good for him I think. I loved how she was bold enough to make first moves. That’s what I did with my husband.

I can't recommend this enough. What a sweet story and I'm intrigued to read more for this author.

This was a sweet, closed door, romance between a US Marshall and a corrupt sheriff's daughter. The two work together, along with other Marshalls, to bring down a corruption ring that's boiling with danger. Along the way, love blooms and resolves soften. Filled with corruption and danger, this was a quick read and kept me rooting for the MCs.

Eden is a great clean romance author. This is the first of hers (that I remember) bringing intrigue and mystery and it was well done! A solid 3.5! I almost went 4 but this isn’t one I would re-read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

✨Book Review✨

“”…By the time she discovered I'm actually a grumpy, miserable wretch she was too in love with me to change her mind."
"I think she likes that you're a grumpy, miserable wretch sometimes."”

Watch out everyone, Marshal John Hawk’s book is finally here and boy is it a fun one. I’ve been patiently waiting for Sarah M. Eden to write Hawk’s story. I’ve loved him since we met him in The Sheriff of Savage Wells. Him being grumpy is definitively a huge bonus in my opinion. Lol.

Hawk and Liesl are such a fun characters to read about. From their witty banter to their love of using the word “ain’t”. I loved every second of their story. We definitely have the grumpy/sunshine trope with these two. I loved reading how Hawk and Liesl work with each to stop the bad guys and help those they care about. It was also nice to see Liesl learn to trust Hawk and his friends, despite her being hurt by Hawk lying about his identity.

This was a quick, fun read. I didn’t want to put it down once I started. It definitely made me want to watch my favorite John Wayne movies and Support Your Local Sheriff. Sarah M. Eden definitely knows how to capture the cowboy vibe.

This book can be read as a standalone but is apart of a series.

These thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Sarah M. Eden delivers another fast paced tale with "Wyoming Wild", the third installment of her Western series. Liesl Hodges is a true heroine. Despite the danger in which her actions put her, she is nevertheless resolved to bringing her corrupt sheriff father down. Fearless and emotionally remote John "Hawk" Hawking is an unlikely candidate for romance. However, these two characters team up to stop her father's activities, and romance blooms.

Eden has done fine historical research here, and her characters leap off the pages. The "Wild West" was just that, and she shows us how accurate that moniker was. Characters from the previous two novels make an appearance. This book stands alone; however, I prefer reading series in order. I haven't yet read "The Sheriff of Savage Wells". A few secondary characters deserve their own stories, and I hope they get them.

Eden is very talented and one of my favorite authors. Her prose is crisp and descriptive, and this book is clean. She has the rare ability to write multiple series at once in various genres and somehow manages to employ various styles.

Thanks to NetGalley and Shadow Mountain Publishing for an ARC of this entertaining work.

As soon as I saw this book’s cover reveal I knew I had to read it. I love this cover so much. It’s so simple yet it speaks volumes. The rugged landscape, the western sky, the adoration and longing you can feel between the silhouetted couple…it all just draws you in making you eager to learn more about it. The story is just as wonderful as the cover.

I have not read the previous books of Savage Wells and even though knowing more of the supporting characters’ back stories would have been nice, I don’t feel that it affected my enjoyment of this story. So while it would be beneficial to read those first, Wyoming Wild can definitely be read as a stand alone.

Wyoming Wild is a great story of courage and sacrifice, of knowing who and when to trust, and finding love in time of trouble.

Liesl is such a beautiful character. She is caring and strong, she loves people and has a great desire to help those in need, even if that places her life in danger. Liesl has a heavy burden to right all the wrongs in her town, wrongs that her father is responsible for.

When Liesl discovers an assassination attempt in the works against US Marshall Hawkings, she take matters into her own hands. With help from a mysterious family newly arrived in town, they set in motion a plan to take down the corrupt men and free her town of their wicked grip.

Marshall Hawks is the best there is in the west. He didn’t get that way by being soft hearted. He makes sure he doesn’t get emotionally involved, he keeps people at a distance. That is how he has managed to survive and that’s how he has protected the citizens in his care.

Liesl has nerves of steel when faced with danger and a heart of gold that outshines her fear and worry. Hawk is known for his heart of stone but in truth his heart is just protected by a stone wall that Liesl just might wear down.

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review. Thank you, NetGalley!

It was so great to be back in Savage Wells. This time the marshals hawk and Paisley track down bank robbers who allude to the fact they know a sheriff that is not as law abiding as Hawkwood want the sheriffs in his territory to be. Then he gets an Anonymous telegram from Sand Creek saying that someone is gunning for him. When him and Paisley go to the tiny town and pretend to be brother and sister they meet a girl name Liesel and her mom. They both referred to her dad as “the sheriff” and they seem to be very scared of him. Thinking hawk is just a regular guy and becoming very close to him she tells him the whole deal with the town. He helped her escape but can he stop her dad and how was he connected to the man who seems to own everyone’s farm? Not only that what are these feelings hawk is feeling for this outlaw‘s daughter in does Liesel feel the same for Hawk? I have loved the Savage Wells book since the first one in my favorite was always the mail order bride, but now it’s Wyoming wild. I was hoping hawk would fall in love OMG I am so glad he did and I’m so glad I got to read it. As far as historical fiction romances go you can’t get any better than this authors books and especially Wyoming wild. If you like a little gun battles with your historical romance you definitely need to read this book it is truly a five star read! I received this book from Net Galley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Sometimes when I read romances I find myself rolling my eyes at the leads falling for each other just because that’s what they’re supposed to do, without any indication of why this person in particular has piqued their interest. Not so with Sarah M. Eden. She has developed a knack for creating characters who have complex relationships that you are eager to root for. Liesl and Hawk each bring something to the table that the other lacks; there’s a reason for why Hawk falls for Liesl despite his reputation of possessing a heart of stone and his strict work ethic that leaves little room for romantic relationships and sentimentality. There's a reason why Liesl falls for Hawk despite her reticence for trusting lawmen or men, in general.

Their witty and heartwarming interactions are a delightful addition to the intrigue and adventure of the story. Although “Wyoming West,” is the third in a series, I haven’t read any of the preceding stories and found this one works well as a standalone—while I sometimes got the sense that there might be more to a character’s story, it created a sense of intrigue, rather than detracting from the experience. Pour yourself a hot cup of tea and curl up with Wyoming West, (or honestly, any of Sarah M Eden’s books😉) and you’ll find yourself with the perfect company to warm these chilly autumn evenings.

Wyoming Wild was a highly anticipated book for me and it DID NOT disappoint. Hawk and Liesl were amazing characters, and not knowing who to trust kept me turning pages long into the night. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes clean, historical romances! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am so excited to see Hawk’s love story! He is such an enigmatic character marked by sternness, strength, and yet kindness. Liesl is his perfect foil, with her connectedness to the townsfolk and her soft heart. She also so strong, but in a people-first way!

This book is full of Eden’s trademark banter, humor, and hard topics handled delicately. And of course I loved seeing Paisely, Cade, and the whole gang again. Definitely worth the read!

Rated PG for mild danger
—clean romance
—very mild language
—mild peril and references to familial abuse (Jon-graphic)

Love a strong female lead? Liesl is going to be your favorite! Over and over again, she runs into danger, in spite of her own fear.

I don't generally love Westerns, and certainly never suspected I would read a Sarah Eden book so full of the word ain't AND with a shoot em up scene! But I did....and enjoyed every bit of it!

If you enjoy westerns or clean, sweet romance, you're going to love this one!

I received a free ARC via NetGalley. All enthusiastic opinions are entirely my own!

Brilliant! I have been hoping and waiting for Hawk's story for years and to have it finally is simply splendid! You will want to read this next Savage Wells book because it is similar to the others in that it is a wild west book and you get to see Savage Wells take in more hurting and lost people, but it is also so much more than that. You get to see Hawk how he was before he started marshalling and that isn't something we have been able to explore. You also get to travel outside of Savage Wells more so than the other stories which was fun. My favorite thing about this story was how Liesl was able to fall for all of Hawk and not just part of him. Also I just absolutely love Hawk and have since the moment we met him in the first book. I enjoyed getting to know Tansy and Andrew better and I hope they get their own books in the future. And Ensio, he was a delightful new character! Once again splendid job Sarah! Brilliantly done!

Loved this return to Savage Wells for Hawk’s story! Sarah Eden is a master story teller. I always love her books and this one did not disappoint. Liesl is such a strong, courageous, compassionate woman despite her fathers influence. Or maybe it is because of it, she was driven down the opposite path. She was always trying to make up for her family’s mistakes. When she overhears a plot to assassinate a US Marshal she risks her life to notify him of the danger. When Hawk comes to town under an assumed identity to find the informant he meets Liesl unaware she is what he has been looking for all his life. I would definitely recommend this book. I was eager to find any time through out the day to escape into Wyoming Territory and this sweet historical romance full of action and scheming.

Wyoming Wild, is the third book in the series. I decided to read all three books back to back, and was glad I did. Sarah M Eden, is one of my favorite authors. Liesel Hodges, was a strong character, standing up for herself and others, in a town where she wasn't sure who to trust. There were quite a few characters, in this book, but I felt like I was able to keep them all straight. John Hawking or Hawk for short, is a U. S. Marshall who is rough around the edges, with a heart of stone. A wild west story that kept me reading until late into the night. I'm glad Hawk finally got his story.

“Wild Wyoming” was the perfect addition to Sarah M. Eden’s Savage Wells series. I have been hoping for Hawk’s story from the beginning. The U.S. Marshall with a heart of stone needed his story and to find love and “Wild Wyoming” did not disappoint.

From the start, I was pulled into the story. I couldn’t wait to get back to it at the end of the day. Between Hawk and Liesl, you have two strong, brave and good-hearted characters who are determined to save those they love. I have always liked Hawk but I loved him by the end. His pet name for Liesl is so cute.

If you loved the first two Savage Wells books or are looking for a great western romance, this is one you’ve got to read. If you love strong and brave characters, you’ve got to read this one. If you’re looking for for swoon worthy moments, read “Wild Wyoming!”

Thank you to Shadow Mountain Publishing and NetGalley for an advance copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.
