I love Sarah M. Eden! Her writing style differs between each of her series, but what remains consistent is the way she draws you in and makes you apart of the reading. As if you can escape into that world. This book is the same. A little slice of someplace else that touches your heart and tells you a story that is yours to explore.

Thank you to NetGalley for an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

Sarah M. Eden does it again with another suspenseful love story. She somehow weaves a story that keeps me staying up late to read just one page. This book was a great read!

I absolutely loved this book! Although its set way back in the day it doesn’t feel like it at times. The characters all are unique and don’t get lost in the story line.
I put it down because..life happens. Kids, husband, and pets. However, when I picked it back up to read I couldn’t put it down.

Liesl is very much a heroine. Risking a lot to protect others and her town from awful men, one being her dad.

The talented Sarah M Eden has written another wonderful tale. I loved reading Liesl and Hawk's story and going back in time with them. I loved it . Five stars.

This was my first Western read, so imagine my surprise when I completely fell in love with this book! The chemistry between Hawk and Liesl was electric, characters were fleshed out, and the plot was exciting. I didn't catch that this was a sequel until I finished, and I look forward to reading the others in the series. However, this can definitely stand on its own as an enjoyable read.

My only criticism is that the storyline was wrapped up too neatly, in my opinion. To avoid spoilers, I will just mention I wished one character had more agency in the fate of their antagonist.

I would recommend this book to any romance fan, whether you're interested in Westerns or not. This appeals to all readers.

5/5 stars

I was given a copy of this book through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I was slow to the boat on Sarah M. Eden's western series, but after reading the first one, I was hooked! ( That seems to be the way it is with her writing). This book did not disappoint!

Wyoming territory can be very dangerous, and when Hawk received a telegram about his impending assassination, things get interesting.

Liesl has been bullied and abused by her father all her life. She has tried to help the people in her town, but she has had enough. Can she save herself, her mother, and her town?

This book has it all, intrigue, romance, and true wild west action.

This book was a fun visit back to the wild western world of nineteenth-century Wyoming. I enjoyed getting to visit the familiar characters in Savage Wells. Leisl may just be my favorite of all the heroines in this series so far! She and Marshal Hawking had a sweet relationship and the storyline of the book flowed well. I went in with high expectations, and while they weren't entirely met (Ms. Eden, we need more kissing scenes! Stop trying to get out of writing them!), it was still an enjoyable read.

This book hit ALL the right notes. I’ve been a fan of Hawk since The Sheriff of
Savage Wells, and I’ve been angling for his story ever since. Sarah tells a beautiful story with loads of heart. I really loved it! I can’t wait for the hard copy to come out somewhat I can read it again. (Also, could we please get a book for Ensio?!)

Many thanks to Shadow Mountain and NetGalley for the review copy. Opinions are my own.

When waiting for something good you cannot wait too long! Is that a saying in English? It is in Swedish, and it sure is true about Hawk's story in the Savage Wells series by Sarah M Eden! Book two in this series came in 2019 and that is how long we have waited for this book no. three to be released and let me tell you this, you won't be disapointed. Such a great story of John "Hawk" Hawking working as a US marshal in Wyoming, determined to make it a safe place for the people living there.

When he discovers really bad things going on he sets out to find out who's behind it and set a stop to it. He brings his depity Paisley O'Brian and they front as brother and sister when they arrive in the small town of Sand Creek buying an abonded farm.

The local sheriff's daughter Liesle Hodges turns out to be both a friend and an allied in the fight against the evil having a hard grip on the region. But can good people win over those that have no qualms what so ever about what to do to gain their gaols of ruling everything? Through in tender feelings between those involved and the stakes get even higher.

This five star story sure keeps you on your toes all the way and you are one lucky reader if you have the fortune to have this book coming your way.

I was really excited to hear Sarah M Eden was adding a third book to the Savage Wells series. I really enjoyed watching John Hawking aka "Hawk" progress, and getting to know his character better. He was introduced earlier in the Savage Wells books, and I had liked his character, so it was really nice to get his story.

After receiving an anonymous telegram about a plot to assassinate him, Hawk goes undercover with his Deputy Paisley O'Brien from book one, in the town Sand Creek as brother and sister, John and Mary Butler. They make it their mission to find out who sent the telegram and who planned to kill Hawk.

If you like the Wild West, a bit of romance, and a suspenseful plot, you will love this book! I certainly did.

Favorite Parts:
-Being John Butler
-Skipping Rocks
-Town Socials
-“Lamb”
-Caught in a rainstorm
-Their banter

I loved reading Hawk’s story! It was so great to be back in the Savage Wells world again.

Liesl is kind, helps others, and is trustworthy. She doesn’t trust easily. Hawk, underneath is stony Marshall exterior, is a sweet, kind, compassionate and caring man.

I love the relationship between Hawk and Liesl. They have their rocky moments, but they have easy conversations and they learn to trust each other because of the investigation that they are both involved in. Hawk keeps denying his feelings because he believes that he has a heart of stone and that because of being US Marshal there is too much danger involved. I love how their relationship evolves. They are perfect for each other.

I give this Book 5/5 stars. The pacing of the story was perfect, there was just enough suspense to keep me wanting to read. I loved the characters and it was so fun getting to see the other characters in Savage Wells.

I received a complimentary, advanced readers copy of this book from NetGalley and Shadow Mountain Publishing for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

oh, to be in one of those historical romances...

An entertaining book, likeable characters, and an action-packed western story with a romance.

From what I've read, this is the third book in the Savage Wells series. I must say I suspected it but I'm also happy to say that Wyoming Wild can be read as a standalone. Everything related to the west can with me and this book is no exception! Meets the expectations of every reader 100% And for my first time reading something by this author, it was really an enjoyable experience.

This is a book with more mystery-suspense than romance, well, the romantic parts were there but they were necessary for the love development of Leisl and Hawk. Our patience is tested before their approaches and the longing comments they throw at each other! Every time there was a part where they were alone, I would get nervous, completely waiting to see what would happen.

The main characters, especially Hawk, are well written, you can understand their reasons for committing certain acts, and you can even understand them on a personal level.

I don't know if this counts as slowburn but don't expect them to kiss or get naked in the first few chapters. If you're looking for something more passionate and fast, you won't find it here.

This. This book is absolutely fabulous!!! It’s totally nuzzled its way in as one of my favorite books—which is hard to do. I just can’t even explain why it’s so good. Wyoming Wild doesn’t come out until March, and I thought it would take me some time to actually get to it. Nope. Once I started, I was sucked in where I HAD to read it in one go. It was THAT good! Hawk and Liesl were adorable. Her story sure tugged at my heartstrings.

I was completely engrossed in the story till the very end. 😍😍 It was exciting, adventurous, romantic, and such a fun read. I know we have to wait months till it’s out in the world, but it’s worth the wait. Trust me. If you like historical westerns and Sarah M Eden, I really think you’d enjoy this one.

It’s part of a series and I had only read book one myself, Sheriff of Savage Wells, before starting this one. You get enough of a background that you could pick this up by itself and keep up with the story. Still…you could also read all three books because why miss out? I’m planning on reading Healing Hearts (Book 2) asap because of that same reason.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I started reading this book without realizing, somehow, that it was a continuation of the Savage Wells series! I read and enjoyed the first two books, and was thrilled to see these characters again.

Liesl lives in Sand Creek, a small town in Wyoming, where her father is the sheriff and rules over the populace with menace and intimidation. Along with his accomplices, Sheriff Hodges hatches a plan to assassinate US Marshal Hawking, which Liesl overhears and tries to stop by sending an anonymous telegram to Savage Wells, where Marshal Hawking is headquartered. Once he learns of the plot, Hawk and his deputy, Paisley, head to Sand Creek undercover to learn more. Liesl becomes friendly with the two of them, known to her as siblings John and Mary Butler, and feels betrayed when she learns their true identities, but they all remain determined to end the tyranny in Sand Creek.

This story also has a hefty dose of romance, not the spicy kind as it is a "proper" romance, but it is sweet and satisfying to see Hawk meet his match in a woman. I really enjoyed the book overall and did not guess at who the "traitor" was (I guessed wrong, actually) so the mystery element was successful. Tansy is a great character so I was happy to see her again! The pace is fast and the characters are lovable as ever.

Thank you to Sarah M. Eden, Shadow Mountain Publishing, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!

Okay wow! I love Savage Wells and I love Hawk and I loved this story! It was so good! It was intense and fast paced and I really didn’t think everything was going to be resolved in time. But it was! And it was so fun to get to know Hawk. I’m really sad that we didn’t get his actual backstory though. Like who was he before he was a marshal? But even without that, it was fabulous! And Liesl was such a lovable character!

This is the third book in this series and I really enjoyed this one. This book which centers around Marshal Hawking did not disappoint. I loved this one especially the mystery was good and Leisel was a fun strong character to Hawk. I got lost in this book and enjoyed every last word.

I was so happy to return to Savage Wells, Wyoming. This is populated with amazing lawmen and notable townspeople. John Hawkings “Hawk” has such a strong sense of duty to protect the people and the territory that you definitely want him to be there if there is anything illegal or troubling. Bad guys beware! Hawk is coming for you!

Bravo to Liesl Hodge. She has had to help families escape the wrath and underhanded dealings of her father, Sheriff Hodges for years. While she has had to develop grit and a backbone of steel, she is still a wonderful, caring person. The difficult situation of standing up for justice will cause her to lose everything if Hawk and his deputies can’t protect her. The action that takes place in the last part of the book played out in my mind like the classic western movies I have seen, but with a twist. I loved it!

Besides the dedicated and emotionally distraught John Hawkings, the character I loved getting to know more about was Tansy. She is slightly eccentric, but one plucky woman who is very matter of fact when it comes to living in a place such as Savage Wells. I loved how she helped when she was needed and acted as though it wasn’t a big deal.

I highly recommend this book, and while it can be read as a standalone, seeing the characters from the other two books made this so much richer. I am extremely hopeful there will be additional books in the series.

Sarah M Eden is a master at what she does. She has been and continues to be one of my favorite authors. Winning wild is a beautiful story about a girl who has to battle between family loyalty or doing what’s right and putting a stop to her Father’s crimes. I was quickly sucked into the story and couldn’t put it down until the very end. Definitely remind!

Wyoming Wild sucked me right in and I couldn't put it down until I was done! I loved the mystery and that the characters grew throughout. One of the things that pulls me right into Sarah M. Eden's books is the depth of her research. I went to a writing conference several years ago where she did a workshop and discussed researching for historical novels. I could see that research shining through in this story. The pacing and tension were wonderful (and stressful--in a good way) as well! And, of course, I loved seeing characters from the first two books again!
