Cam and Faith had been going together almost a year. He was an EMS and she is a cop in a family of cops. She felt she was never as good as her brothers in her dad’s eyes. Cam knew she was the one and after she was shot and he was waiting for her to recover he found out that she had been 3 months pregnant, never telling him. When confronted, she told him to leave and that he did. Cam left the EMS because it was too painful to run into her. Now months later Faith is teaching stunt doubles for a motion picture and Cam is one of them. The chemistry is still there. I loved this book! The characters are great and the family atmosphere of the cops and the stunt doubles were so supportive and heartwarming. I found it interesting to gain insight into what it takes to be a stunt double. Faith’s family is so toxic and how she grows to handle her own life rather than please her father is a relief. The support Cam gets from his parents is important and extends to Faith. The off and on-again relationship between Cam and Faith offers a lot of love. Is their love strong enough to endure?

Ruin is a second chance romance. Skye Jordan weaves a story that keeps you engrossed in this story until the end. Cameron is a dream of a book boyfriend. Faith has issues that she has to work through if they are to have a shot at a HEA. I liked that Faith opens up to Cameron before letting their second chance get too far along, although it is pretty far into the book before they really start to believe they could reconnect. I will say it seemed like way more time had passed then then actual timeline in the book, so you do get almost insta-renewed love, but still well done and believable. Great book. 5 stars. Thanks NetGalley for an advanced copy for this honest review.

Skye Jordan did it again with her latest book. This story had it all... friendship, family drama, love, heat, and second chances.
I absolutely loved the characters and rooted for both Cam and Faith throughout. They had amazing chemistry and connection. Faith has a lot of emotional baggage and has a har time letting people in. Cam has the patience of a saint, but even then his heart can only take so much upheaval. Can they both learn from the past and make a future together? Their journey to happily ever after is fun, loving, and honest. Truly a great story. Can't wait for the next book.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Cameron was in the military, then the fire department, and now he is with Renegades as a stuntman. When his girlfriend, Faith a cop, is shot he finds out what she was hiding from him and she pushes him away.
Eighteen months later Cam is the stuntman for a movie and still pining for Faith. After several surgeries, Faith is on medical leave and takes a job with a movie as a consultant. She’s excited until she sees Cam is there too. Can they get past old hurts and have a future together?
Great story with characters you can relate to. Secrets. Sex. And action. Second chance for love. You might need tissues. I hope this makes sense. Enjoy.

This book had a lot of potential and I was personally excited when I got approved to read this. I however found the characters unlikeable. I kept reading in hopes they would grow on me but they didn’t. I really couldn’t connect to Faith no matter how hard I try. I felt detached from the story and it made it difficult for me to finish. Faith and Cam want different things in life and decide to go their separate ways only to be forced to work together a little over a year later. You can tell there’s supposed to be tension and emotion between the characters but it feels spoon fed. I also would like to point out one specific trigger warning that is brought up which is the loss of a pregnancy.

Really enjoyed this one. Fast and no run around kind of story. Keeps sexy times alive and story moving. Hot fast burn but intriguing story. Superb writing.

They belong in Love!

In the tenth book in the Renegades series we finally get sweet Can and his forever love Faith’s story and how love just might conquer all. These two don’t have a problem loving each other they have a problem with Faith’s ability in her own self worth and trusting that Cam will catch her when she falls.

As always the author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: Cameron Riggs never set out to be a stunt man. Renegades was meant to be a pit stop on the way to his next "real" career, but eighteen months later he's still there, searching for the brotherhood he's always wanted. One he didn't find in the military or the Los Angeles fire department, which he quit after his painful breakup with the love of his life, Faith Sutherland. His parents want him to return to Maine so they can retire, and when Faith is thrown back into his life like a grenade, Cam thinks maybe Maine is exactly where he should be, brotherhood or not.

Faith, a decorated officer with the LAPD, is slated to become the youngest female sergeant in the history of the department. Maybe then her father, a retired cop, will be proud of her. She hopes that approval will fill the void created by the worst decision in her life, one that has left emotional and physical scars. Currently on light duty, dying a slow death of boredom, she takes a job as a movie consultant. And now she has a new problem the stunt team working the film is the Renegades, which means she'll be working closely with her ex, Cameron. And that means keeping a lid on the dark secret she's been holding all this time.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

I LOVED this one! It’s such a unique concept intertwining the law enforcement and stunt man careers, but it worked so so we’ll! I almost wish there was maybe there was a little more action in there, but I overall loved the story so much! 10/10 would recommend!

Ruin is a great book. Full of so much family drama and suspense from Faith's job as a cop and Cam's job as a Stuntman. Always something new in each chapter.

Received this as an ARC

Before starting I didnt realize this was part of a series but can also be read as a standalone

I love stories that have a trauma background - it takes away from the whole fairytale story to a realistic love story

I really liked the way Cam & Faiths trauma bond remained throughout - I loved how Faith was the character a little rougher around the edges rather than the male

It was a quick read - read it in an evening

Good book! This one was a little different than the others in the series, it was more of an emotional experience than a action suspense book! It was still good, it had heartache and heartbreak! I did miss the action suspense part, because that's what I'm really into right now! lol but it was great seeing all the other characters and the storyline was very interesting and flowed nicely! I will definitely recommend reading this book and series! They're all worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
