Jasmine flees to the safety of her grandmother’s small town after seeing her boyfriend in a dangerous situation. She initially thinks she will just be there a little while, but after the town seems to take her under their wing she decides to see if she can restart her life. She meets the town sheriff during an altercation with his sister and the spark is immediate. When the troubles from home follow her, the situation brings Jasmine and Jake closer together. I loved the added story of Paula and her unexpected visitor and liked the addition of the quirky towns people.

Oh so cozy and delightful! This wonderful book hits all the right notes. A young woman finds herself in a bit of a jam and has to get away from a shady boyfriend fast. She has her trusty dog with her as she finds refuge in a little town and is close to family. Lots of wholesome romance, just the right amount of mystery and intrigue, and a whole lot to enjoy in Mountain Town Mischief with a Poodle. This is the first book in the the Rocky Mountain Cozies series and I for one am here for the next, and the next, and the next. If you love a breezy read and characters you will instantly fall in love with, then this is the book for you. I highly recommend this title.
