This book is such a lovely, cozy winter read with a wonderful cast of characters. Each side character is set up nicely for their own book. The narration was perfectly lovely!

Unfortunately I found this book really boring. Gave up about half way through, the characters were pretty bland and just never captured my attention.

Stella Bloom has loved Christmas tree farms since she was a child. She loved getting lost in the rows and rows of fragrant pine trees. She had finally fulfilled her dream and purchased a tree farm which she has named Lovelight Farms.

She didn’t realize at the time that running a tree farm can also come with lots of things besides hard work.

As an example there has been vandalism in the adjourning pumpkin patch, just when all of the pumpkins were ready for Halloween. There is an area in the south part of her farm where the trees have suddenly stopped flourishing and turned into what looks like “skeleton trees”.

“Stella finally has to admit that her finances and the tree farm are in serious financial trouble.
She enters a contest run by a famed Instagram influencer (the contest also comes with a $100,000 prize), she mentions she owns the farm with her boyfriend—because she thought it would sound more romantic. But when she becomes a finalist, the woman is planning to come to the farm, so where is Stella going to get a boyfriend? “

Enter our leading man and Stella’s best friend Luka. They have known each other for a decade and Luka, kind guy that he is, decides to go along with her somewhat crazy idea to pose as her “fake boyfriend” for the duration of the Instagrammers stay.

What follows is a great story of a small town determined to help one of their own, friends who help out in every way they can and of course, some romance.

What I loved about this book was that there was a great story here! The Lighted Lovelight Farms was well described and made me yearn for the small tree farms I remember from my childhood which also included Santa, hot chocolate and candy canes.

This is one Christmas book that I can recommend. It’s not OTT romance, but there definitely is some steam here. In the end this book just made me feel good.

The novel is even more impressive considering that this is a debut novel. The narrator was excellent which made the listen very enjoyable.

This book is perfect to get into the Holiday mood! This fake dating, friends to lovers trope is set in a cozy setting that'll make you want to drink a cup of cocoa by the fireplace. I read this as an audio book, and the narration had a great flow. If you are impatient for Christmas and a good romance, this is for you!

This was an adorable little romance. I was smiling through 95% of it! The characters and their interactions were just perfect. The narrator was great as well!

Absolutely perfect holiday romance! Friends to lovers, fake dating, small quirky town, amazing friend group, rescue cats and all things Christmas? Solid 10/10! I am so excited to read the other books in the Lovelight Farms universe! Amazing debut novel by B.K. Borison!!!

This one has been on my list for about a year now and I was so excited to see the audio offered. I actually have a signed copy of the new cover on its way to me soon! I was really nervous going into this one because of all the hype surrounding the book but I’m glad I did! The setting of a Christmas tree farm that is in need of saving is the perfect winter read! Really anytime read… haha. I really enjoyed Stella I even more enjoyed Luka… friends to lovers is never my go to but I felt in this story I really enjoyed it and the fake dating. This book feels like a warm hug on a cold winter night! The side characters were some of my favorites and I’m hoping to see them in her next few books… which I own!

Obsessed!! All the fall/winter vibes wrapped up in the perfect fake dating friends to lovers story! So much chemistry and sweet banter and the absolute cutest scenes.

The small town charm is reminiscent of Gilmore Girls and I absolutely loved it!

The narrator was great and really brought another dimension to the story - escapism at its finest! It was an overall very enjoyable read.

It's never too early for Christmas books and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. If you are looking for a Christmas vibes book that isn't 100% Christmas - aka takes place from October-December - THIS is your next read.

The Lovelight series is going to be Fall's new cartoon cover romance obsession and I am DEMANDING you pick up book 1 today! All three books are small town interconnecting stories that center around the magical Christmas tree farm of your Hallmark movie dreams.

Book 1 - Lovelight Farms - follows Stella Bloom who, after entering herself into a social media contest in an attempt to save her Christmas tree farm, is forced to fake date her longtime best friend as she lied about owning the farm with a boyfriend who does not exist.

Stella and Luka were positively adorable together. Their easy banter and love for each other had me grinning the entire time. I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator was wonderful at capturing Stella and how she feels about everything that plays out as a result of her lying. I definitely recommend listening to the audio version if you are in need of a new listen but all three books are currently available on Kindle Unlimited if you want to physically read them. I am personally going to be ordering physical copies of all three as the covers are BEAUTIFUL!!

Lovelight Farms was released in June but the audio version will be released September 13th and if it's not already on your tbr, it should be!

This book was slow in the beginning for me, however, I ended up being absolutely captivated.

This book includes all of my favorite tropes - friends to lovers, fake dating, holiday romance - mixed with a slow burn relationship all on a Christmas tree farm. It is as enjoyable as it sounds and it left me feeling satisfied and recommending it to all my friends. I cannot wait to devour this whole series this fall/winter.

I absolutely loved this book! It lives up to all the hype it’s been getting. It’s the perfect book to read this holiday season! I loved the Christmas tree farm setting, it made me wish I was there.

Good lawd... how I loved this book! I dare you not to fall in love with Luca and Stella and their amazing supporting cast of characters. And the steam this one delivers... phew! This book is everything and I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in the series. And kudos to the narrator for doing such an amazing job with this one. SO SO GOOD!

I enjoyed this fake dating/friends-to-lovers romance set in a small town. I love Christmas so I was excited to dive into this story about the owner of a Christmas tree farm.

Stella and Luka's relationship was really cute. Their romantic feelings for one another have been bubbling under the surface for years and with the fake dating situation, they were forced to face those feelings.

I didn't love the conflict at the end because it seemed to be a non issue to me. I'm glad they got over that quickly!

I listened to this book and I enjoyed the audiobook. I think the narrator did a great job!

What a sweet story of two people holding back their love for one another who, through fake dating, finally realize their connection is real.

This book is so cute and cozy, and makes me yearn for Christmas-time and winter.

This is a classic friends to lovers story with fake dating. While Stella drove me crazy at times (with her blindness to the situation), it was a cute story with an adorable friendship turned romance with a little spice.

The Christmas tree air freshener touch is the cutest thing ever and I love the atmosphere of the town (phone tree and all!). I was so in love with this story and was excited to read the next in the series!

B.K. Borison’s DEBUT novel is absolute perfection. It has everything you’d want in a light, cheesy romance story.

Everything about this book is just so well done & I will be re-reading it forever & ever.

That audiobook is JUST as good. I received an ARC from NetGalley and I binged the audio in a day. The narrator did such a great job with capturing the essence of all the characters. The voices she did were great too!! Highly recommend the audio.

Such a great take on best friends to lovers. It’s so refreshing that the main character knew from the very beginning that she was in love with her best friend. I may just have to reread this one in December because the Hallmark Christmas movie vibe is STRONG. I really enjoyed this book!!!

Multiple tropes make this one even more fun! A combination of fake dating and friends to lovers gives it the happy ending we’re all looking for. I loved how this one had some humor trickled in there too and a good wholesome Italian family helped make it even more relatable. Let’s all go buy Christmas tree farms!

Stella’s Christmas tree farm is struggling. Knowing that her employees rely on her, she applies for a competition with a popular social media star. The prize money will help keep them moving and make up for some strange incidents that have been occurring on the farm.
The only hiccup is that the social media star is a sucker for romance so when she applied, Stella said she owns and runs the farm with her boyfriend. I’m truth, there is no boyfriend. So, she reaches out to her best friend, Luka, to see if he’ll be her fake boyfriend for a week.He agrees without reluctance.

The two fall into the fake relationship ship easy. “It’s weird that it doesn’t feel weird.” When it gets to the end, though, true feelings emerge and Stella is forced to realize that not everyone is going to leave her.

#LovelightFarms was totally one of those #BookstagramMadeMeDoIt reads, and it was totally worth the hype. Easy but totally engaging and just totally swoon-worthy. The narrator did a great job bringing this quirky and adorable story to life and I highly recommend picking it up via audiobook.
