This book was SO fun and such an enjoyable read!!!

The reader fits into the role of She Hulk’s assistant, helping to solve the case against a murder that may or may not have been committed, by Ruby.

This is an enjoyable and fun packed read for every Marvel fan, lover of she-hulk (even from the series) or those wanting to learn more about the character!
This was my first experience ever of a book like this and it’s definitely one I enjoyed and won’t forget! What a great idea. I absolutely love it!

I grew up (slightly) on RPG books and am a big fan of She-Hulk having read pretty much all of the comics she's inhabited. She-Hulk Goes to Murderworld was a must read for me.
It didn't disappoint. It's so much fun, with the writing and characters spot on, and enough of the decision making to be either figuring out, or on the roll of a dice, or collecting specific items for later use, that you could lose yourself reading/playing a game for some time, and wouldn't be disappointed to go back and do it again.
It looks as if this is part of a larger series too of similar Marvel RPG books so I'll be on the look out for those too.

This book was SO fun. I recommend you grab a cup of tea, a pen and whatever paper is to hand, stick on some music (preferably Marvel to get you in the mood) and prepare yourself for an adventure with the greatest attorney at law in town!

Here you fit into the role of her assistant, helping her crack the case of an accused Ruby against a murder she may (or may not) have committed. Through a reader decisive plot, you chose the direction. You make choices as to how the book will go and ultimately decide how it will all play out. It lends itself beautifully to multiple play throughs (or read throughs) and can provide hours of fun. I’ve just finished and I immediately want to do it all over again!

It’s a must for every Marvel fan, lover of she-hulk or those wanting some entertainment for the evening. It’s super fun to play, so grab a dice and a pen and you’re ready to go. Don’t have a dice? I used an online dice roller which worked just as well so there’s no excuses! This was my first experience of a book like this and it’s definitely wetted my appetite for more! What a great idea. I absolutely love it!

Thank you to Aconyte books for the NetGalley copy in return for my honest thoughts and review.

I was hoping this would be a graphic novel, based on the subject and cover artwork, but this is more a choose your own adventure type book (my fault for not checking the publisher notes). That said it is interesting as you don’t just pick left or right and go to a certain page, you also need to keep track of your inventory and stats, almost a bit like playing Pokémon. All in all I’d say this is a good book for gamers, as you get the feel of gaming, whilst giving your eyes a break from the screen. If you’re looking for something she hulk because you’re a fan of the tv show, I’d advise to look elsewhere as it’s not at all like that

Who is the intended audience for this? I picked it up as it's tagged as Adult Fiction/Sci-Fi and because I'm a huge fan of the She-Hulk graphic novels, but this read like it was for children. The entire layout, prose, design, and explanation are incredibly juvenile, which really took me out of the whole concept and nostalgia of the choose your own adventure books. The cover design looks like it might be a graphic novel, but there are no illustrations. And the writing isn't strong or interesting enough to keep me engaged. This is not a book I'll be recommending.
