I loved that this mystery was related to nature. The world building in this novel is truly impressive.

I really liked this book! It was a really intriguing mystery and I think Abby did an incredible job sniffing out leads. I loved how much this book centered around nature. All the facts that Abby, Chris, and Roger share about the natural world throughout the book were really interesting. The afterword had a lot of good information as well.

Volta Rose has a future in the mystery genre, this was such a well done novel. I loved getting to know the detective and see the romance elements go forward. I really enjoyed trying to solve the mystery and thought it worked really well. The characters were perfect and I was glad to get to know them. I hope there is more in this series.
