I really like Miranda Liasson's novels although they're not my usual cup of tea! Especially like that we get to see the same characters we grew to "love" after their HEA. Juliet and Jack(son) are delightful as they circle each other, each fighting any attraction they may feel. Good to know that people who deal with other people's problems have their own as well. Looking forward to the next Blossom Glen story as this IS a series!

I could not get into this book. After several tries and restarts, I decided to stop reading and added it to my DNF list.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Juliet and Jack. Juliet is a couples therapist and Jack is mayor. Jack decides that the city needs a therapist to settle disputes. Opposites attract. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Miranda Liasson takes us back to Blossom Glen, Indiana in her latest release The Sweetheart Fix. I rather enjoyed this book between hometown girl and new couple’s counselor Juliet Montgomery and the town’s mayor Jack Monroe.

When Juliet is put on leave after a couple complains about her, she is devastated. Her past relationships that blew up fairly spectacularly in her small town has made people doubt her ability to be a couple’s counselor. While at city hall to pay a parking ticket, she inadvertently mediates between two battling neighbors during the mayor’s town meeting and he hires her to help him better liked by the town in hopes of saving his grandmother’s land that is set to be sold to the highest bidder.

A bit like oil and water these two don’t mix well at first, but as they work to solve town problems they begin to see each other in a different light. I liked that there were ups and downs in their relationship, they both made some mistakes but they worked to do better.

It was easy to feel the heat between them and while the intimate moments were off page, with such a strong and engaging story they weren’t missed.

Characters I’d like to be friends with and a town that comes together for the greater good made The Sweetheart Fix a feel good romance that was hard to put down.

The Sweetheart Fix by Miranda Liasson is so good!! A couples counselor that had a public breakup, a small town Mayor that isn’t comfortable talking to everyone come together to help each other when they both need it most. I literally couldn’t put this book down. I think I fell in love with these 2 a little bit. Highly recommended!!

Oh my goodness. I seriously loved this one. Juliet has a world of history that all boils down to a lack of luck in love, but it doesn't mean she's unlovable, too picky, or playing hard to get. It simply means she hasn't found the right one...yet. Sucks that her dream was to come back to her hometown to start practicing her people skills (therapy wise) because small towns have long memories, and some things you'd rather live down, live on and on and on and on. Jack has a backstory that is kept under wraps, but it's not truly something scandalous, just something that makes him more open, more vulnerable, more human. He likes to take care of people, but he lacks the words to share those thoughts and feelings without awkwardness. He's a "man of action" which definitely gets a raised eyebrow in the scene it's uttered...yes, he actually SAYS this to another person. He means well, but he's got a lot on his plate, and issues from his past holding him hostage from his future. Two people with issues that can either grow from them, or crumple from the pressure of them. Then again, a problem shared is suppose to be a lot easier to handle....

Watching these two battle their own demons and their growing feelings was smile worthy, both from the pride in their accomplishments, and the romance magic that seemed to be working its way through their defenses. The meet cutes and almost moments tally up until...well, until something happens, and while that's magical and important, it's equally important that the life and times of Blossom Glen are viable, living, breathing, tangible things that keep you turning pages. Yes, you want to get to the HEA, but you also want to make sure the townsfolk are okay. I guess a little bit of the longhorn mayor rubs off on you eventually...

A great read for Contemporary Romance fans that love small towns with big hearts.

The Sweetheart Fix is a cute small town story where everyone knows everybody and all your skeletons! Juliet is a relationship therapist who is struggling with past relationships herself. And Jack, the mayor also has issues of his own. I love how these two started working together and how the town rallies around them both. Miranda Liasson really did a great job with this book. I'll be reading the other books in this series as well!

Oops I thought I wrote the review when I finished the story! I absolutely loved this story. It was easy to jump into the story and go on their journey. The story came alive, and I enjoyed bringing in all of the extra side characters to bring it all to the next level.

This sweet, clean romance was such a delight. The characters were multi-layered and so well developed that it seemed like they were friends I was checking in on.

Juliet is a counselor that is running into some of her own issues (all the time) since she has returned home to her own small town. Jack is the head honcho in town and is having to deal with a lot of the small town drama. He's a little challenged in that department, so he asks Juliet to step in and help him deal with it. They really begin to see the great characteristics of each other and also sort of help each other out with the personal issues they are both dealing with.

As always, Liasson has written a beautiful, funny romance while also throwing in plenty of conflicts to keep the reader reading and totally enjoying the experience!

Thanks to Entangled for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

The Sweetheart Fix by Miranda Liasson was true to its name, SWEET!

This book was marketed as as a standalone book even though it is a part of the Blossom Glen Series. I would argue that this book is not a standalone and should only be read after reading The Sweetheart Deal (book one).

Coming into this book blind, I felt unprepared. All of the characters from The Sweetheart Deal reprise their role. The main difference is this book follows Juliette and Jack’s love story whereas, The Sweetheart Deal followed Leo and Tessa’s.

Liasson should have spent more time updating new readers on the town of Blossom Glen and the people who occupy it. This left me struggling to comprehend characters and their connection to one another. Had I been given better information, I might have rated this book higher.

Apart from my issue with this book not being a standalone, I found it to be sweet. However, it does verge on the cusp of too sweet. For such an experienced author, I expected more. Her writing was absent of sophistication and her characters and plot lacked depth. It is a book I will most likely forget.

While this book was not for me, I am sure there is a huge audience for it. I would recommend it to young readers, fans of clean romance, and those who simply want a nice book to escape reality.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Amara for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback.

Thank you for this free copy received in exchange for my honest review. This was kinda cute, really cheesy, and a little hard to get though. It took me longer to finish than it should have. I found the main character to be ok and her love interest was...meh. It didn't make sense to me why he would be mayor if he was an out of towner...unless I missed something. That just wasn't believable to me at all. I also felt pretty skeptical of the hate these townspeople threw on the main character for being a relationship counselor yet also struggling to hold substantial and long-lasting romantic relationships herself. Maybe this is true in small towns, but it felt forced and very sad for her! Total unrealistic 180-degree character change/development that I just couldn't get behind. It was too cheesy! Sorry, not for me and quite forgettable :(

This is the second book in the Blossom Glen series. I enjoyed the first, and I also believe this could easily be read as a stand-alone. The series is about three sisters living in small town Blossom Glen. This one was about the middle sister, Juliet. She's just starting as a relationship therapist and her trail of failed engagements is impacting her ability to do her work. She's asked to do some work on herself and ends up being hired as the town's counselor. While sparks fly between her and the mayor, Jack, they were both unprepared for the connection they feel. I loved their chemistry and the combination of slow burn and self-reflection/growth. The extended family and community members were also a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to Vivienne's story next.

Thanks to the publisher for a complimentary copy. all opinions are my own.

I loved the first book, but this one was a little lackluster. It just didn't keep my attention and was easy to put down and hard to pick back up.

Part of him wanted to scoop her up and set her in the truck. And part of him wanted to drive off alone, because frankly, this sopping wet woman felt like a threat to him in ways he didn't want to carefully.
And no, he did NOT want to kiss her. Not after all that headache.

Juliet Montgomery is well known in her little town. As the girl who ended 3 engagements. Which makes her lose credibility within her relationship counseling. She has a lot to learn about herself and her town.

Jack has become mayor for a reason. To help save his grandmother's land. He was not counting on Juliet becoming an important part of his job as Mayor. But she's a perfect fit. And not only in his work life!

Such a good book. Fun and light - perfect combination!

The Sweetheart Fix is the second book in the Blossom Glen series. This one is Juliet and Jack's story. It definitely works well as a stand alone. While I didn't love this one as much as the first book, I still quite enjoyed it. It took a little while to get going in the beginning. I thought Jack and Juliet were cute together. It was fun to watch them fall in love while working on themselves. I appreciated Juliet wanting to figure herself out before really committing. The way the town ended up embracing the both of them was quite endearing. I do recommend this one.

A*R*C for honest review with no compensation Received from NetGalley, Entangled 4.5 stars

The Sweetheart Fix is book 2 in the Blossom Glen series by Miranda Liasson and another great addition to this series.

Up next is Juliette and Jack’s story. Juliette is a relationship counselor whose public breakup puts her job at risk where she is questioned about her ability to give advise. Jack is the mayor but he can’t seem to deal with the town people and he hires Juliette to help…

What happens next…great chemistry, small town romance, past history, some twist and a fun read.

An sweet small town witty opposites attract romance to more romance. Juliet loves her work as a therapist/counselor. If only her small town and every single person in it would mind their own business so she could actually work. Just because she personally doesn’t have her life in perfect working order does not take away her skill at her work. Jack is the town Mayor, a job he relishes except for one tiny thing. He hates talking and dealing with people. Not good. He needs help and she needs a job. Total opposites who differ on most everything eventually find their way to their own HEA. And though part of a series, this can be read as a stand alone, but read the other, The Sweetheart Deal as it’s also wonderful read.
