This was such a cute book! I love Jack and Juliet and a good ol' fashion enemies to friends to lovers trope. I love the small town vibes, how close Juliet is with her family, and how tight the town is. I really enjoyed this book and it was such a quick and easy read! I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down!

A very entertaining and compelling small town rom com. I had a lot of fun, rooted for the MCs, and liked the humour and the quirky characters.
I like the style of writing of this author and this was a good read.

Can a counselor who has three failed engagements advise married couples? The town of Blossom Glen isn’t so sure and Juliet is asked to step back from seeing patients.

Juliet is at a loss what to do next. Attending a town meeting and helping counsel quarreling neighbors gives Mayor Jack an idea. He isn’t good with the public, even though he means well the words don’t come out right. Hiring Juliet as the Town Counselor.

Juliet and Jack having to spend close proximity while working together adds for some fun interactions. The town people has a wide range of quirky characters, problems to solve, and moments for both Juliet and Jack to shine.

While both have issues to deal with separately causing delays in getting together it was such a sweet ride.

If you want a small town, grump sunshine mix that wraps you up in a warm blanket while always making you laugh than this one is for you.

There is just something about a story set in a small town with its fun characters. I really liked Juliet, the newly hired therapist, who had returned to Blossom Glen, Indiana. It was fun to learn of her past and how it still shaped her today. I also liked the Mayor, Jack, who had his own past to deal with.

I really enjoyed how Juliet and Jack ended up working together when she became the town counselor and helped the people in Blossom Glen to be more neighborly in solving their disputes. It was funny how the two characters rubbed each other the wrong way at the beginning of the book and then Juliet and Jack ended up caring about the other one, even though they both did not want to admit it.

The banter was fantastic and made me really like the characters even more. Juliet and Jack were each there for the other one. They looked out for each other, cheered the other one on, and brought out the best in the other one. This made me invest in the characters and I grew to really like them, flaws, strengths, and all. This was such a fun story to read. I want to return to Blossom Glen! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I love picking up Miranda Liasson's books and The Sweetheart Fix was another wonderful read.

This was a great small town story with lots of sweet moments, humor, and romance. I thought the story was nicely paced and Juliet and Jack had just enough banter and conflict to keep things interesting. It was fun seeing their relationship develop as she helped mediate disagreements between townsfolk.

This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. I did enjoy the first book as well, though, and definitely recommend it as well

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was sweet, fun and I wanted to keep reading so I could find out what was going to happen next. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is book 2 in the Blossom Glen series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books by this author.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing for the copy of this book. It was absolutely adorable. It gave me a very Hallmark movie vibe, but I'm a sucker for these types of books!! Juliet was so witty and I loved seeing her work through her past mistakes to be able to support a new relationship. Jack was the ideal book boyfriend and I loved his relationship with his grandma. All in all, a cute book I definitely recommend.

In this small town romance, Juliet, a licensed counselor who finds herself on probation at a job after a blow up with a client. While visiting the mayor’s office she inserts herself in a community dispute and the mayor, Jack, hires to be the town mediator. While working together the two fall in love and learn to overcome their own insecurities and pasts.

This is one of those books about 30 year-olds written by someone at least twice their age and you can tell. The turns of phrase are just not things that 30 somethings would ever think or say and at times didn’t even make sense (is a “phone message” a text, voicemail, voice note, DM, snap?). The cultural references were a bizarre mix of Friends characters, early 2000s romcoms, and misspelled Timothée Chalamet. It drove me up the wall and distracted me from the rest of the story. The romance itself was a standard small town romance with a large cast of side characters to keep things interesting.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The Sweetheart Fix is the second book in this lovely series by Miranda Liasson. Two extremely likable characters who are totally opposites in the emotional department find that they have a strong attraction. Such a sweet, fun, and darling read. You will smile a lot, shake your head a time or two and learn along with Juliet and Jack how to move on from the past leaving the mistakes made there behind.

Miranda Liasson is a true master at creating characters who are perfect for each other while being seemingly opposites. Meet the counselor who has her own romantic relationship problems and the cowboy turned mayor in The Sweetheart Fix.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Sweetheart Fix has everything you need! I feisty female, a bull headed man, banter, lots of laughs, small town charm and the perfect love story. I love the growth both Jack and Juliet show throughout the story. I love the small town charm!

I loved this book so much!!!

Newly graduated therapist, Juliet Montgomery has returned to her small town of Blossom Glen and is ready to start counseling her neighbors. The problem is everyone knows she’s had two and a half failed engagements, so they don’t trust her relationship advice completely. Mayor Jack Monroe is fighting to get the town on his side so that his grandmother’s land won’t be zoned commercial. He creates a biweekly mayor’s forum to assist townsfolk in solving disputes and minor issues, but needs Juliet’s help mediating the disagreements. As they work together to earn the trust of their neighbors, the chemistry brewing between them is something neither expected.

An enchanting rom-com, The Sweetheart Fix is the second installment in this series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone. Jack and Juliet have such great chemistry, I was cheering for their relationship to succeed. And what fun it is to check in with the other characters we met and fell in love with in the first book including Tessa and Leo. I’m looking forward to read Viv’s story next!

Juliet Montgomery is a couples/relationship therapist. People in the small town of Blossom Glen find it hard to take her ability to help save marriages and relationships seriously since she has had three broken engagements. Lulu, as the townspeople affectionately call her, has a reputation for being an “adventurer”. I’ll leave it at that. I don’t want to spoil the book for you.

Jack Monroe is the mayor of Blossom Glen. This guy is all heart, but he keeps it well hidden beneath a gruff exterior. He is trying to save his grandmother’s home and land. The wealthy developer who wants to turn it into a golf course is relentless in his pursuit of his goal. Raised by his grandmother, Jack wants desperately to save her land and the small cemetery where his grandfather is buried.

Jack and Juliet are definitely opposites who are trying their best to fight the attraction.

The Sweetheart Fix is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance novels.

I received an ARC of The Sweetheart Fix from the publisher and author through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

The Sweetheart Fix is a sweet small town romance. Juliet is a couples counselor and Jack is the major of Blossom Glen. While Jack loves fixing community problems, he's not good at dealing with people. Juliet ends up helping Jack out as the town counselor and they eventually fall for each other. I read the first book in the series and loved it so I was happy to visit Blossom Glen again. I loved this book!

If you want a pleasant small-town romance that you can read during those wakeful hours in the middle of the night, this one will definitely do the trick.

ack is Blossom Glen's mayor. He takes his job seriously, so when Juliet accidentally finds herself in a city meeting, and helps to solve a dispute between bickering neighbors, Jack decides to hire her as a city therapist. Even though she has not exactly been on her A-game in her chosen field of late.

All the expected small town characters are here, including the wise and beloved grandmother. The town is a bit Hallmarky, and the characters tend to earnestly give each other good advice more than perhaps we or our neighbors might put up with in Real Life, but the whole point of a romance is to safely guide us to the harbor of Happily Ever after, and this the author does with smiling expertise.

The Sweetheart Fix is book two in the Blossom Glen series and it can be read as a standalone, as I did not read the first book in the series, but had no issues.

Juliet Montgomery is just getting her start as a counselor in her hometown of Blossom Glen. Living and working in your hometown has it's pros and cons, which Juliet is finding out given she's giving relationship advice and she hasn't had the most stable relationships in the past!

Jack Monroe is the mayor of Blossom Glen and loves his job. Well, most of it. He doesn't love talking to people, which is kind of an issue given his role. In order for him to continue in his position and to flourish, he needs some help.

When Juliet and Jack begin to work together, they not only help one another on the professional front, they find out they are much more compatible then they could have ever expected. Their romance was definitely a slow burn, but given Jack's position and the public nature of Juliet's break-up, it's understandable they wanted to be cautious. Their friends and family added quite a bit to the story as well, which I always enjoy.

I'm glad I took a chance on this one!

Have you heard the saying, "Physician, heal yourself" before?
Well this time it is the therapist who needs it more!
Juliet Montgomery is the young lady to which it applies
But how she achieves it is a surprise!

She's offered a job by the Mayor of Blossom Glen
Helping sort out disputes every now and then.
Juliet is admired by everyone
And seems able to soothe disputes so they are gone.

Working together, they make a great team,
But both have trauma in their past, impacting their dream.
Facing their fears, helping them to heal
Together they could prove to be a great deal!

Being honest with each other, no need for an act,
Though attraction builds, that's a fact.
But both are reluctant to chance their heart
Will they overcome their fears, never more to part?

With community disputes and dilemmas, too,
Along with family, there's so much to do.
It is a delightful story, helping others to heal as well
A book I highly recommend, I hope you can tell!

For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you,
It's a superb, heartwarming romance and this is my honest review.

Another sweet story about the small town of Blossom Glen. Juliet is starting work as a therapist, but the town can't seem to forget her multiple failed engagements. Jack, the mayor, is kind of gruff. He enlists her help with solving neighborly disputes, and as they spend more time together they develop an attraction. Juliet needs someone who she can be herself around, and Jack needs someone who can open him up to giving and receiving love.
A lot of the book spends time on family, and Jack trying to solve a big issue in town.
Lots of fun side characters, including her sister and his best friend (Tessa and Leo) from the first book. This was an enjoyable read, and I liked watching them both bring out the best in each other.

The Sweetheart Fix is a wonderfully adorable enemies-to-lovers story. I loved that it followed many of the same characters from The Sweetheart Deal but still works great as a standalone. Like her other books, the characters are developed greatly with many different layers, and all are trying to overcome something, in this case, failed relationships and fear of failure.

I adore Liasson's writing style and you won't be disappointed with The Sweetheart Fix.
4.5/5 stars

I loved this couple. Both were facing battles in their careers & were not expecting to find a relationship. Their path to happily ever after was full of twists & turns. Jack & Juliet were so fun together. The book made me laugh & left me feeling good. I loved every minute of this story. This was a great addition to the series but can be read standalone. The relationships with the other characters are also fun. I love Juliet's family & am looking forward to the next book in the series. I received an advance copy from NetGalley & am voluntarily leaving a review.

Review: 3.5 stars

Quote: “A work in progress, but a good work. And good progress.”

I read this book as a standalone, not knowing it was part of a series.

Read this for:
1) Cowboy romance
2) Staying true to yourself
3) Overcoming obstacles
4) Small town romances
5) love is worth the risk
6) the witty banter

This story begins with Juliet’s first day at her job as a therapist only for her mentor and boss to put her on hold as she fumbled through her first therapy session when the client question her last 2.5 failed romances. She stopped in the town hall to pay for a parking ticket and unwittingly sat in on a town forum, Jack the new mayor was running. She ends up resolving some citizens’ dispute leading Jack to hire her as a counsellor. Jack is dealing with problems of his own, he is trying to convince the whole town to prevent his grandmother’s land from being commercialized. However, with his blunt and abrupt ways, the town may not necessarily see his intentions. Can Juliet teach him that being true to himself and showing care is not a bad thing or will they not see eye to eye and clash on this?

I do enjoy the witty banter Juliet and Jack do get into. I also do love that they have wonderful support in their friends and family throughout the story!

All in all, a solid book!
