I was attracted to this book because of the title and it delivers! As I get older, yoga was always something I aspired to do but have been intimidated by it because I am not very flexible. This book demystifies the poses and makes yoga accessible to all levels of ability and flexibility. The book start with a section on how to use the book followed by basic poses, deeper stretches, poses for pain relief, sequences and resources. I was particularly attracted to the poses for pain relief -- "tech neck rescue" and "happy hips and hamstrings" since I sit at a computer most of the day and those are my top areas of concern. In this book, the author gives step by step instructions for 40 poses and 10 sequences. The illustrations are sort of shadow figures as opposed to photos which make it a little difficult to fully see how to position the pose but does give you a general idea and the written instructions are clear. I have already started to do some of the poses to ease myself into becoming more flexible. Thank you to Netgalley and Callisto Media, Rockridge Press for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Yoga for Flexibly is a great book of someone with any level of yoga skill. In this book you will find an overview of yoga, it's benefits, different yoga poses, then sequences for beneficial yoga flows. Adriana Lee did an excellent job of explaining the benefits of flexibility and how it is essential for a good quality of life. She also connected the dots as to why and how yoga can help anyone gain and or keep flexibility. I appreciated the the images of people doing the poses, and how they represented different body shapes and sizes. It reiterated that yoga and flexibility is for anyone. The yoga sequences are enjoyable and can be done in a shorter or longer amount of time.

I did yoga for quite sometime many years ago and have been wanting to get back into it so when I saw this I thought why not do it at home.
It is a great book and is helping me get my poses right and feeling as if I am doing something right. It is full of great information and explanations and guides on what best to do for different areas of your body.
This books gives you just the right amount of information, not an overwhelming amount of poses and makes it so easy to get back into something I used to enjoy immensely. I will be working my way through each and every pose and hope that I will be more flexible very soon.

This is a helpful book, full of description as to what body part certain poses effect (affect?!). The Kindle version worked well. Helpful explanations. I have been doing Yoga on and off for years, but I ALWAYS wonder what does this pose/movement benefit? Also great descriptions of how to do/execute the pose. Will be enthusiastically handselling this book!

Good yoga manual for home practice. Liked the organization and the fact that there are only 40 poses here (keeps it from being overwhelming). The one thing I think would improve this book would be pictures rather than graphics to illustrate poses.
