I love the format and the breakdown of how things are scored. I really like the samples of the writings. I think this will be valuable in preparing for the GRE.

I was given the opportunity to read this text from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I like working on improving writing, math skills and vocabulary. I did a little bit of work in each book. It was easy to follow and I enjoyed working with it. Recommended for those studying. Thank you Netgalley and Vibrant Publishers. Great series.

Miigweetch NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

This is a straightforward and concise geode to help readers prepare for the analytica; writing portion of the graduate record examination, commonly known as the GRE. Several possible positions are presented for each Issue, which address the assumptions in an argument, the evidence required, and questions to be answered. It gives a good overall idea about the different types of writing styles and essays that are needed for passing the GRE Analytical Writing test. The author gives general strategies for crafting responses to prompts, which is helpful given the sheer breadth of possibilities for questions that could be asked on the actual exam

I would recommend this book to anyone preparing to take the GRE, particularly people who are visual learners and those who benefit from the “see, try, do” method of test preparation. This guide offers lots of examples that can be used to practice writing actual timed essays, which is arguably the BEST way to prepare for the GRE. As far as study guides go, this was a 5 out of 5 stars for me!
