Wow what a roller coaster of emotions when reading this. Really feel for Harlow what a conflicted person and now more conflict. Can’t wait for book #4 in the series.👏👏

OMG the ending , I need the next book now , why or why did you leave it like that , I'm literally on the edge of my set. But that's how you can tell that the story is good when it has you wanting more , and it gives you Goosebumps, and makes you ask questions that there's no answer for until the next book. AND the way the author slowly revealing secret after secret until you're not sure of anything anymore - definitely helped pull me in to the story even more then I ever was.

I can’t believe that’s how it ended. WHAT?!?!?

I need more…LUCAS. Oh no. I’m going to be very stressed out until the next book.

This was very fast paced with a lot going on. And I understand leaving threads open through series but man. That ending was not conducive to my peace of mind. 😳

Detective Harlow Durant needs to get it together and figure all this out…ASAP.

It would have been a 5 if I wasn’t left a shell of a woman at the end.

Book 3 in the series…. A well written and perfectly paced, slowly revealing secret after secret until you're not sure of anything anymore - only that you have to keep reading…..
Overall this was a gripping, exciting book that gave me several hours of escapism and enjoyment. Id definitely read other books released by this author. Who needs sleep? Yes, I dropped everything and immediately downloaded this book. I have been waiting for what feels like forever! It was a thrilling, edge of my seat novel full of conflict and tension. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. I could not put down this book. First, despite that fact, the language was off putting and not needed…that being said, I liked this book really. The protagonist is matter of fact about what is going on. The other characters are there…they serve a purpose, but if they were not in her life…she would move on anyway…sounds questionable but true…this author is talented and gifted at writing a mystery. This book would make a great television series. I must add that the imagery is unique in a murder mystery. I wanted to read some of the passages over..those of nature…not of the murders. I guess I cannot put into words how good this story is. A movie…a series…whatever…it is worth spending an afternoon reading…don’t start it at night…as I said…a cannot put down.
