I really enjoyed this fast paced, cleverly written short story. It reads like a great episode of Black Mirror. I loved the main character Dr. Kate Gavin Weaver’s, I really resonated with her personally. As a technical person myself I really apricated that the author was technical as well and you could tell in the references and style of writing, which really worked given that the main charter is an Astrophysicist. Great read, will definitely be on the look out for more stories from Sean Patrick Hazlett.

Another great read in the Systema Paradoxa series. I have loved each and every one that I've been able to read. These open up your knowledge of cryptids that didn't even know about. Can't wait to read another. #SeanPatrickHazlett #NetGalley

This was a fantastic short story. The writing was wonderful and the alternate reality was a very cool twist on some angry aliens trying to invade Earth. I highly recommend this quick read.

Dr. Kat Gavin-Weaver's father is missing. She does everything she can to save her father. Along the way she meets some weird friends and is exposed to some classified supernatural cases that exposes her to a new reality.

Thank you #NetGalley for sending me #Hell'sWell

This novella is crisp, fascinating, and fast paced. Unfortunately, it was classified under humour/satire and not the horror category so I feel many people might miss out on it.

That would be a shame because I loved this story. While it does have some humour in it, it's a dark sci-fi horror tale at it's core.

Cryptids, wormholes, gravitational anomalies, and a missing person all come together and form a really great short book. I highly recommend it!

This was another great entry in the Systema Paradoxa series, I love how unique each entry is and how well each book worked with the others even though it was different authors. It's a great series about cryptids and I enjoyed that it was about different cryptids. This was a really well done story and I enjoyed every part of this read. Sean Patrick Hazlett has a great writing style that left me wanting more.

"More shrieks resonated in the sinister dark. They grew louder and more frequent. More urgent. Once she’d secured Veronica in place, Kate began to run again toward the lights. Ahead, two flashes temporarily blinded Kate. Gunshots!"
