Review: This was my first book by Marni, and I've always heard how spicy they were! Let me tell you, that is definitely true!

Daddy Ford is fire! Oh man, this man! Ford meets Sydney one night in a chance encounter, and the pull to each other was undeniable. He tries to fight his attraction to Sydney, but he just can't! These two share such a connection. When Sydney is what Ford needs for his daughter, will he be able to keep his hands to himself? I loved the build-up between these two. Their chemistry was jumping off the page. Everly, oh my gosh, this little girl stole my heart. I love her to pieces. The way that Ford and Sydney put Everly first made my heart soar. Then there was the things Ford would do for Sydney...they two were perfect for each other. I figured I knew what was going to happen with the plot, but I was completely wrong, and I was so grateful. This didn't follow the "formula," and I loved it! The plot twist totally shocked me and had me bawling. I laughed, I swooned and I cried throughout this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I listened to the audiobook by Tor Thom and Summer Morton. I did struggle a few times with Tor, but Summer was perfect as Sydney. Overall, they did a good job bringing Ford and Sydney to life. I really enjoyed Hannah as well, and I can't wait for her and Declan in The Intern!😏😍

This book felt like all the others which was pretty much what I was looking for. Alpha guy who doesn't do relationships but then finds the one and turns into possessive guy who struggles to admit his feelings. This series is high on the smut and low on the plot but it's a good time if that's what you're looking for.

Ford Dalton cares about only one female, his daughter Everly. When he is dragged out one night with his brothers, he meets Sydney and realizes he might have just met another woman he can love for the rest of his life. Sydney falls just as quickly, but when the opportunity to become Everly’s nanny comes but means giving up Ford, she chooses the feisty five year old girl. Can they live under the same roof without their chemistry combusting?

Full on spice and steamy, Sydney and Ford have the best chemistry of any couple I’ve read lately. The Single Dad is funny, sexy, romantic and dramatic all at once. I could not stop myself from listening, and I want more. I can’t wait to read the next installment, The intern!

3⭐️

One evening, four years ago Ford Dalton became a single father, which caused him to completely change his player ways. Until Sydney cuts in front of him at the bar and he can’t keep his hands off of her. After one perfect night, Sydney met the love of Fords life, his daughter Everly, and Sydney found the job of her dreams, Everly’s nanny.

The Single Dad is book three (3) in the Dalton Brother series. I have not read the first two books and was able to follow along the story well. This can be read as a standalone, but previous relationships and characters are mentioned.

Ford’s relationship with Everly (his daughter) is everything. Ford puts Everly before everything else in his life and will do anything to keep her safe. Their relationship is definitely a highlight of this book. I did feel a little weird taking advice about raising kids, and tips on how to make baking with my nieces more educational from a steamy book though….

Ford and Sydneys relationship was freaking cute and steamy!!! I was wondering how the whole nanny/boss relationship was going to go, especially after the beginning of the book and was pleasantly surprised! There was a slight aspect of instalove to this but I didn’t mind. I did appreciate how their relationship progressed and how Everly was put first within their relationship and their lives. There was no third act breakup but I found I was a LIL bored around the 85% mark, things still ended well and it was freaking cute!

I received an audiobook copy of this book and enjoyed the narration by Summer Morton and Tor Thom. Both were very entertaining and kept the story moving.

At some points in conversations I cringed, I don’t know what else to say. It wasn’t the best haha. I also cringed at some of Ford’s thoughts about Sydney’s body like “I put my hand on her flat stomach” “the gap between her thighs was perfect” (quotes aren’t direct). More cringe worthy moments (for me): c*nt like a suction cup”, and a self lubricating asshole??? The worst for me was “milked me” AHHH SCREAMING AND SO MANY TIMES WHY?! This is why I did rate this book 3 stars, this is just a personal preference. Vibes were perfect, some of the dialogue/writing wasn’t it for me.

If you like single dad x nanny romance, dual 1st person pov, dotting fathers, forbidden romance, forced proximity, instalove, age gap (30M, 22F), NO third act breakup, great 🌶, and a HEA definitely check this out! I am looking forward to reading the first two books (especially the second, which I’ve heard is the steamiest out of the series). I am also very excited to listen to the next book in the series The Intern (I have received an ARC of this) and we get to experience Hannah and Declan’s story!!!! (enemies to lovers??????)

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy for an honest review. I love you guys 💕

I definitely love the Dalton brothers/family series. This one was a bit so so for me not sure how i felt about the 2 MC dating then becoming working relationship- nanny & boss and then back to lovers. The plot twist with his daughter had me gasping. I would recommend this to others- thank you for the opportunity to read a copy.

Ford's story was everything I wanted it to be. Im loving this series. Sid was fun and loving and the perfect person for Ford and Everly. The steam was hot and the romance was sweet. I cannot wait to read more by this author. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio arc in exchange for my honest review.

The Single Dad by Marni Mann was an audiobook listen for me and I’m giving it a 5 star. It was narrated by Summer Morton and Tor Thom. They were awesome and I really enjoyed the story. It was hot! I love this series and it was a great release to move away from my stress while I gobbled this down. I really loved all the characters. The tension and longing was off the chart at times and worth every second.
I highly recommend this audiobook because it’s good.
Thanks Dreamscape Media via Netgalley.

This is the third book in The Dalton Brothers series. This is a series of interconnected stories. I loved it! Ford and Sydney’s story is heartwarming. Ford is handsome, commanding, and caring, Sydney is beautiful, smart, kind, and supportive. I liked the banter, the sizzling chemistry, and the beautiful romance. The supporting characters are amazing. Ford’s 4 year-old daughter Everly is adorable! She is an incredible kid, smart and sunshine! I loved Ford’s cousin Anna. Summer Morton and Tor Thom did an excellent job with the narration. They are perfect as Ford and Sydney. Looking forward to listening to The Intern, the next book in the series. I received a copy of this book through NetGalley, a Dreamscape Media production, for an honest review.

I enjoy the character development in this book and the plot was pretty fast-paced but it did leave me wanting. Unfortunately that's the reason why I can't give it a five-star

I loved this book so much! Ford and Sydney were everything. Uggghhhh and Ford and Everly? The perfect single Dad book!

Tor Thom and Summer Morgan did a fabulous job. Single dad and nanny trope for the win. I absolutely love how devoted Ford is to his daughter but then is thrown for a loop when Sydney shows up to be her nanny. Their chemistry is off the charts and the narrators did such an amazing job captivating me. And Everly’s character… the cutest. This is a great audiobook to get lost in!

Unfortunately this book wasn't quite for me. But I think others will love it.

This features tropes like Instalove, single-dad (of course), forbidden romance, and a bit of miscommunication. I loved Ford's devotion to his daughter as a single father, and their stories are absolutely my favorite through the book. Unfortunately I found Sydney a little frustrating in her problem solving and choices.

The female narrator was great - but the male narrator's speech pattern just wasn't for me.

This is strictly my opinion, and I think others will probably love these easy story between a father and his nanny.

The Single Dad is a heartfelt and spicy romance about a single dad who meets the girl of his dreams. Unfortunately, that girl wants to become his daughter's nanny and is the perfect candidate for the job. Sydney is great with kids after spending a few years after high school as an au pair. This makes it very awkward when she is forced to choose between Ford and his daughter.

The couple had so much chemistry and tension from the moment they met. I was immediately invested in their story. When I saw how great Sydney was with Ford's daughter, I knew he would fall for her even harder. This was such a sweet love story with plot twists and incredible chemistry. I wish I had read the others in the series first. Now I am definitely going to have to go back and read them.

Overall this book kept me interested because it wasn't s story that I'd heard before. Marni Mann did a great job of balancing the storyline and the spicy scenes. There was the perfect combination of both in this book.

3.5/ 5 - Spice: 2.5/ 5 - Audiobook - Book #3 of the Dalton Brothers

This was a nice audiobook. I loved the narrators for this book, but felt like the plot of the book was just too similar for the prior two books. A fast paced romance starting with a one-night stand turned obsession for Ford and Sydney. However, I'll always enjoy a book that DOESN'T have a third act break up.

Brief Plot: After a one-night stand, Sydney finds herself applying to be Ford's young daughters nanny. But if she works for him, they CAN'T have any further romantic relationship. Which she agrees to. However, as the days pass, Syndey gets closer to both daddy and daughter, ad chemistry continues to spike for her and Ford.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an eARC copy of the Audiobook of The Single Dad, written by Marni Mann, and narrated by Summer Morton and Tor Thom. This is my honest Review!

Single Dad is a instalust rollercoaster, that is super fun to read. Ford and Sydney have meet cute that leads to a few hot nights. Then they put their feelings aside to do the right thing for his daughter. The ride is fun as Ford and Sydney struggle with what's right and physical chemistry. This is a fun, lusty tale of 2 people who are meant to be. Thank you for the opportunity to listen to this ALC

I loved The Single Dad when I read it, and after listening to the audiobook I am even more in love with sexy Ford Dalton.

The ever-loving, single father to little Everly desperately needs a nanny and is thrown for a loop when the best candidate turns out to be his one-night-stand. When his new nanny puts caring for Everly before developing a relationship with Ford, he is thrown for a loop of even deeper lust and longing.

Both narrators, Summer Morton and Tor Thom, did a fantastic job of bringing the characters and story to life. It doesn't matter if you've already read the book, this audio will make it feel like your first time again!

This is my first book by this author, and I would definitely read more. It was steamy with a good sweet story line. The connection between the hero and heroine was palpable. Single father falls for his daughter’s nanny. I thought the narrator did a fine job and both were enjoyable to hear. Huge thanks to the audiobook publisher and Netgalley for letting me listen and review this audiobook.

I will not be finishing this. The narrator for the male character was not it for me and if I don't like the narrator then I end up not liking the story. So for that, I am going to probably go read it physically on kindle unlimited or buy it when it's out or if it's already out.
