I loved the illustrations from this book. The message of the book was very sweet on how to show you care. Some of my students may get a little confused on the “look after” part as they are very literal, and will assume it means watching someone and not taking care of them. Other than that I think my students would love it!

This is perfect for children who may have a shorten attention span. There are not a lot of words in this book but the cool thing is it gives you a lot of opportunity to discuss the importance of each word and illustration with your child.

This precious story is all about acts of kindness and how simple it can be to be kind to someone else. It is told with very simple words and illustrations featuring an adorable pig and his friends. There are pages with no words at all, which can be a great way to have kids describe what they see in the book.

There are many acts of kindness mentioned in this book, from being inclusive to saying sorry or taking care of yourself. It is a good reminder that a small act can help someone in a big way.

Thank you to Clavis Publishing and NetGalley for the read of this sweet book!

A sweet and simple book about kindness, this book tackles the concept of how we care for others and ourselves. With simple drawings, an adorable pig as the main character, and lots of easy examples, this book is the perfect way for parents to discuss kindness, how we help others and how we can take care of our own mental health in a very basic and relatable way.

It also is a great reminder that sometimes it is the most simple gestures that can mean the most to someone and that kindness doesn't have to be hard. It is a great opener for coming up with other ideas to do as a family to show kindness at home, school or in the community.

This story was both entertaining and educational, which can be a tricky balance to maintain in a children’s book, and I will be suggesting it to teachers whenever possible. Incorporating social-emotional skills and topics such as this into children's picture books is a tried and true way to teach an important life skill in a way that is fun. This would be an amazing addition for classroom libraries, counselling offices and more.

There were a few things I loved about this book. The first is that this book makes it easy to show children what acts of kindness can be, and this book has so many great examples. Secondly, the illustrations are also adorable. I also loved that I could share it with my 7 year old son who has a hard time remembering these important lessons from time to time.

Little Book of Caring is an adorable children's book about showing care, empathy, kindess and compassion.
It displays a rather understated style, illustration-wise, but it does help underline the deeply positive message it conveys.
I found it rather pleasant, enjoyable and full of hope. It's especially precious because of the lineup of cute animals.

This book was really cute. It has some simple advice to not only care for someone and how to prove it but also to take care of yourself. Something, we sometimes forget it. Also, love this piggie.

Thank you, Clavis Publishing, for the advance reading copy,

I find this book really comforting to read. Hopefully it reaches many people, more than the kids and the young readers.

I find the art style quite amazing.

I thought this book was beautiful. Very simple both in text and images, and done very well. It showed a great array of ways you can show you care and really emphasized the importance of actions and considering how our behaviour impacts others.

The little book of caring is a lovely book which introduces various ways in which we can be kind / care for others.
Although the methods offered aren’t particularly new/ groundbreaking, it’s a lovely introduction for young children. I would say if you have older children, this book may not be for you, but younger children will like the illustrations and could easily lift the ideas offered. A nice little picture book.

A sweet and heartfelt book about the different ways to show love and care in its little forms. I love the minimal text as it puts all the focus on the actions that are depicted in the beautiful illustrations, which made for a really enriching and engaging read. I also enjoyed how the book shows that it's the little things that mean the most and love is a two-way street, whether it's towards other people, ourselves or our environment — all of which are equally important. I highly recommend this heartwarming and charming picture book!

A sweet children's book about ways we can show we care. The book features gorgeous illustrations and minimal text. Because of the minimal words on each page, parents and children are drawn into conversation about what’s shown in each picture, making this book interactive. I’d recommend this book to parents with 3-4 year olds, especially children who listen to stories attentively.

A sweet book. It has beautiful drawing that left room to talk about the characters positive actions and open conversations about how we can be considerate.

I could see a way to use this as a mentor text for the classroom.

And then make your own version as a class. Could be sweet and useful and a good beginning of the year lesson/bonding/ ‘rules’/expectation lesson.

The book itself is cute. Not my favorite but I see how it could be useful!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an Arc in exchange for an honest review.

Little Book of Caring is a super sweet book, perfect for teaching your little ones about being kind! I love that the text is simple (one sentence per page) with lots of illustrations to provide real life examples of ways to be kind. The limited amount of text provides a great way to discuss with your child what is going on in the pictures, which helps them connect to the characters and think about how they can show kindness in their own life. The illustrations are super cute as well — animals are always a win with my girls! I also love that the author included self care because being kind to yourself is important too!! All in all, it’s a great book that I will definitely be adding to my daughters’ bookshelf!
