After someone dies at a St. Patrick’s Day festival, Pamela and her knitting crew investigate. This one just jumped out without context for readers new to the series (which was me). Because of this I missed out on a lot of the relationships since there was no background given.

Love this series! Lots of interesting suspects will keep the reader guessing. Pamela and Bettina find the singer at A St. Pat's day luncheon dead after her performance. Great friendship. Good characters. Another cozy that's a hit! Thanks#netgalley and #Kensington for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

I can't knit. At all. Believe me, I have tried. So, when I found that Peggy Ehrhart's latest book was available for review, I jumped at the chance to read it. Not only does the mystery keep me reading, but I can "knit" right along with Pamela, Bettina and the Knit and Nibble club members. This latest book, finds the sleuths investigating the death of an eccentric singer who is murdered during a St. Patrick's Day celebration. Be warned - there are red herrings galore in the mystery and you won't want to put the book down!

I enjoyed the book and liked seeing more of Bettina, Wilfred, Woofus (the lovable canine) and Punkin the sweet kitten. While I like the main character, Pamela, the supporting characters are a large part of the book's charm. Pamela is drawn into the mystery of the death a local woman, who is a famous singer. As Bettina hopes to "beat" a competing local reporter to the story of the singer's murder, Pamela discovers a mix of feelings, about the singer. which prove to be deadly. Always there to offer the sleuths good food and advice, is Bettina's husband Wilfred. A few changes take place in Pamela's life and they're....nope, no spoilers here!

If you're ready for St Patrick's Day, holiday food (check out the delicious recipes) knitting (check out the gorgeous knitting patterns) and a challenging mystery, Irish Knit Murder is a perfect way to spend an afternoon!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of IRISH KNIT MURDER (Book 9 of the Knit & Nibble mysteries) by Peggy Ehrhart in exchange for an honest review. When Pamela accompanies Bettina to a St. Patrick’s Day event held at the senior center, they end up with more than a story about the food and talent on offer. Just after local character Isobel Lister puts on a memorable performance, the event organizers find her body backstage. Bettina is upset that the local media and police refuse to take her and her weekly publication seriously, so she enlists Pamela in trying to identify the killer before the police. Through their investigation. Pamela and Bettina will gain knowledge about some of the more colorful locals. Meanwhile, Pamela’s romantic relationship undergoes a change.

I liked the book and really enjoy the series. I recommend this book and series to fans of cozy murder mysteries featuring knitting themes and small town people/events.

I received a free copy of, Irish Knit Murder, by Peggy Ehrhart, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. St Patrick's Day is too exciting this year with a murder to solve. The knitting club has a lot more to do then knit, can they solve the mystery? Holly, Nell, Pam and , Imogene, like to crotchet, I really liked this book and the characters, it kept me guessing until the end.

When the singer at a St. Patrick’s Day luncheon is found dead after her performance, Pamela and Bettina are on the case. Could it be the Wiccan, the accompanist, an Irish woman who doesn’t like cultural appropriation? So many suspects, so few real clues. But the ladies are determined to find out who had it out for the singer and bring the town some closure.

While I sometimes find Pamela a bit set in her ways, she has softened up a bit more over the course of the series and I like seeing her character further developed. The friendship between Pamela and Bettina and the whole Knit and Nibble group is also something that brings me back each time. While this one was light on the Knit and Nibblers, it really focused on the the two BFFs and was well written.

I've become a fan of this series and always look forward to reviewing a new book.
This book wasn't as good as the previous ones. It felt rushed and off kilter, and there wasn't any of the excitement that usually takes place in these books.
I'm hoping the next book is back to normal.

This was a wonderful book with a interesting storyline. I like how they incorporate a lot of Irish food and that in the book and how the Chara Characters interact with each other. This book was approved for me to read and review by netgalley and the publisher

Irish Knit Murder is the ninth in this cozy mystery series. Elizabeth Lister is murdered shortly after performing at the St. Patrick's Day celebration at the senior center. There are many suspects and Pamela and Bettina investigate once again. It was fun catching up with these likeable characters and see a new romance brewing for Pamela. I usually like this series, but this one seemed very drawn out with too many descriptions of clothing and food. There were lots of red herrings and I was surprised by who the murderer turned out to be. Thank you to Kesington Books and to netgalley for this ARC.

This is a cozy mystery written by a talented author. The book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. The protagonist is fun and quirky...the other characters add to the story...the setting is almost like another character. Curl up in a comfy chair...grab a cup of steaming herbal tea...a delicious scone...a warm blanket...settle in for an afternoon of enjoyment. The book moves quickly...it is intriguing to try to guess the ending of this mystery...just a good book. I look forward to more from this author.

Irish Knit Murder takes place on Saint Patrick's Day in New Jersey. This is a cozy mystery that is part of a series. It is the first of the series that I have read.

A grande dame of local society is part of a celebration at an older folks home and is singing Irish tunes with abandon. Before long she is found dead. There are lots of folks with a reason to kill her. It is up to the knitting club to sift through the characters including a Wiccan, old friends with secrets, the men she is dating and more.

A cozy mystery for those who enjoy knitting.

I usually like this author very much. However, I couldn't get into this one. The murder happens almost right away. We've had no time to absorb any of the characters and I didn't really care who murdered the victim as I want at all invested in the characters.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advance.
