This is a good book. The two main characters are Hannah and Andrew. Hannah is the new vet in town. Andrew runs animal control. When they first meet there is an instant attraction. Hannah has taken over the veterinary office from the previous owner, due to him having a stroke. Part of the clinic duties were being the veterinarian for the town. Every year any veterinarian can bid on the job. They each have trust issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

*arc review from Netgalley*

I have such a love for small town romances, I expected so much from what I read about the book and personally I felt like it fell short.

2.5/5 stars for over all. There is no rating for spice even though it was listed in the NA genre for Netgalley there are no scenes bar a lead up to possible spice and then it fades out and time jumps till after or the next day.

The events that happened in the book although weren't predictable when reading through as soon as it was mentioned such as the town vote and the outcome I found the aftermath to be predictable, you could guess the events that would follow.

It was just a standard romance in 3rd person with each chapter alternating between following the fmc and then the mmc. I really do wish it was dual pov in 1st person. The writing seemed to be repetitive with simple sentences starting "he said", "she felt" which wouldn't happen in 1st person pov.

Fmc back story being a vet with trying to win the bid of the town and take over the practice was a new story line I'd not read before which I loved, plus the change of heart with the mmc was amazing to read.

Overall I just whish I loved the style of writing more.

I read this as an ARC from netgalley. I really loved this novel and loved that it was a clean romance read. It was definitely quick paced, clean, happy, and definitely had more of a realistic life feel to it than some other romance novels. Definitely recommend this read.
