Sudden unexpected approvals from NetGalley are always fun! A Christmas read in October? Well, why not? 🎅🏼

"She realized she was worried about a different kind of falling—falling for him. And the biggest worry…was that it might already be too late."

It took me a few hours of ignoring the world to absolutely inhale this one and I have no regrets whatsoever. I wouldn’t have missed the transformation of Libby Larson from being a Scrooge-Grinch to a Christmas miracle for anything.

More than anything else, the belief that everything happens for a reason is wonderfully brought out in this one. There are so many different things that happened because of which Libby’s life changes in just about a fortnight. And to top it all off, there’s the town of Holly Peak, rushing to join Stars Hollow and Bluebell in my epic small town wish list. Furthermore, Christmas books that have a list of dessert recipes absolutely always are the best! 🎄

Holly Peak is now ready to meet the world as this sweet story comes out today! Thank you @netgalley for my advance copy.

For Libby Larson Christmas has been such a huge part of her life, yet this year the fear of possibly losing her family home and trying to get over the loss of her mother, any type of Christmas cheer is almost nonexistent. Yet a suicidal blow-up Santa starts to turn the holiday season around, when Libby meets her neighbor’s son Adam. Through a lot of missteps and a mysterious photo in a card from her mother’s childhood Libby is lead to a town called Holly Peaks to meet Cece, a woman who hold Christmas near and dear to her heart. Holly Peaks has another surprise instore for Libby when she finds that Adam lives there as well. Can Libby find the holiday spirit and uncover a mystery of Cece and her connection to her mom?
Such a lovely story. Libby and Adam make such an amazing team. Adam’s reluctance to use social media does get a bit redundant after a while, but I was happy when he started to embrace the idea towards the end of the book. It might have helped to explain why he was so reluctant. There is nothing hinted at his past that would make him not even want to try to promote his town for free. Other then this small personal problem, I truly enjoyed the book. I love that the romance was not rushed. It built up slowly and allows the characters to get to know each other and work through some personal issues that they have. Just such a fun read and perfect for the holiday season.
Thank you so much to HawkTales Publishing and Netgalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of this title.

It didn't take me long to fall in love with this gorgeous Christmassy book.
Libby is facing her first Christmas completely on her own and with no family to celebrate with, she decides to throw herself into her work and ignore the festive season.
Following a series of accidents involving handsome new neighbour, Adam, Libby finds herself knee deep in Christmas and all its traditions. She's rapidly solving family mysteries, saving towns from Christmas disasters and falling in love.
A hugely enjoyable book and definitely right for a Hallmark movie!

As a huge Hallmark Christmas movie fan, I was excited to get to read this book. It did not disappoint. I could visualize all of it playing out beautifully on my tv. This book is meant to be read in front of a fire with hot chocolate. If there is a Christmas tree around & decorations, all the better. Highly recommend reading this to get into the holiday spirit!

Thanks to the publisher & NetGalley for advanced copy in exchange for my honest review

Libby is facing her first Christmas season without any living family members. She just wants to put the holiday behind her (you know THAT'S not going to happen!)
Her parents initiated a neighborhood-wide Christmas decorating "competition" in the past and the tradition continues, but Libby's heart isn't in it. While looking in the attic for decorations to donate to the neighbors' for their use, she finds an unopened Christmas card sent years ago. She decided to try to see if the sender is still alive and why the card was sent, so she takes off to Holly Peak to get some answers.
It turns out that the town of Holly Peak also has an annual Christmas decorating competition and Libby volunteers some of her time to make that the best it can be. Of course, disaster strikes.
Who is the mysterious card sender? What disaster strikes? Who comes to help save the day?
The season of Christmas is all about giving, but I am not giving any more clues. Read this story and enjoy the season!

Thank you to Hawk Tale Publishing and to NetGalley for an advanced copy of the book. This review is my own opinion. You will be glad you read it!

Love this Christmas very much. This story is about Libby, Adam, CeCe and a town called Holly Peak. Libby is a social media marketer and is heading to Holly Peak to do a video shoot for a client. She runs into Adam, Libby's new neighbor's so. You will read to see how they happen to meet. She has a picture of CeCe that she found in a card to her mother who is deceased and she is going to try to find her. Of course, she does. The story begins . This is a Very Good Read. This would make a great Christmas movie as it has a little bit of everything in it. I think it is the best one of this author's books and I think I have read them all .

Another hit Christmas novel from the Queen of feel-good Christmas romcoms!
One of my markers of a good Christmas story is could I see this as a Hallmark movie, considering the author is an established Christmas movie writer it will come as no surprise that this could definitely be a Hallmark movie.
The cute Christmas town(s) - we are spoiled for choice in this! The family drama, the budding romance and last but not least, the dog!
This is a warm hug on a winters day, wrapped up in a Christmas bow!
Read it, you will not be disappointed.

Hallmark Christmas movies are my favorite part of the season and this book read just like one! It had a good storyline, a sweet main character with a family drama, a sweet romance, and a happy ending. It also left room for it to be a series of the author chooses. What more can you ask for from a holiday romance?

A lovely Christmas story with plenty of mystery, romance and a good range of believable characters. A real feel good novel which readers of this genre will enjoy reading in the run up to Christmas.

Libby is struggling to get through Christmas, her first since she lost her mother. She is on a deadline to complete an ad campaign for a pet food account, which will hopefully save her from financial distress and losing her mother’s house. Finding an unopened 20 year old Christmas card in her mother’s box of decorations, she is led to a “Christmas town” to find the mysterious sender and scout out the town for an ad photo shoot. First, though, she has a run-in with a handsome stranger, when she was attacked by an inflatable, runaway Santa in her neighbor’s yard.

When she gets to Holly Peak, which is quite magical, she finds the mysterious card sender, as well as colliding with the same handsome stranger, Adam, who happens to be the town manager. After several more mishaps, Libby is stuck in the town but finds some magic in her life and regains the spirit of Christmas she had lost.

My thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this book. Since I am ‘hooked’ on Hallmark movies, this was a fun read, helping me to usher in another Christmas season.

Loved reading this book. I'm hoping it's just not a stand alone book. Hoping for more. I especially love Christmas themed romance. I suggest reading this book.

Love Always, Christmas is like a store-bought Christmas cookie.: good but not as good as homemade. It's a decent story with sweet characters. It read as though it was trying to be a Hallmark Christmas movie. The best part was that the romantic relationship developed naturally and it wasn't drawn out with unnecessary angst. The main character, Libby, is dealing with grief and it's her first holiday season without her mom. She tries to bury herself in work but gets led to a picturesque Christmas town to confront the mysterious Cici and learn a family secret. Overall, a fun read. Thank you to Net Galley, Karen Schaler, and HawkTale publishing for the drc.

This was a very enjoyable story. It takes place at Christmas and has towns competing in a Christmas contest; but, mostly it's about one young woman's struggle to find her "place" in life after her mother dies and she quits her job. Libby finds herself dreading the Christmas season and is throwing herself into her new business in hopes of not falling apart without her mother. She feels alone in the world now that her parents are both gone and neither she nor they had any siblings. Libby has a very good close friend who helps keep her world from slipping and keeps her in the "here and now". I loved how the act of finding a 20 year-old unopened Christmas card in a photo album in Libby's attic starts a whole unexpected chain of events that will definitely tilt Libby's already precarious world.

I feel that the pace of this book is steady and the characters have depth and are relatable. The main male character, Adam, and Libby don't exactly "hit it off" when they first meet although "hit" is the right verbiage there; because Libby gets accosted by a Santa... you'll have to read it to find out what that's all about.

Thank you to NetGalley and HawkTale Publishing for Love Always, Christmas by @traveltherapy . Here is my honest review.

I am a big Christmas Movie lover and I love the Christmas Prince movies. When I saw that Karen Schalers book Love Always, Christmas was coming out I just had to read it.

Adams parents have always wanted to move to Evergreen Valley. They have been waiting for a long time and now they are finally there. Evergreen Valley is known for their Christmas decorations and Adams parents are going to fit in well. Adam is there to help them settle in and to decorate.

Libby lives in her parents house on the same street. Her father died a while ago and she lost her mother earlier that year. Libby has just started her own production company and the house need a lot of repairing. She has two choices, to make a lot of money or to sell the house. She has one project booked that she hopes is going to solve the problem.

Adam and Libby have had 2 encounters both time because Libby has accidentally destroyed two of Adams parents Christmas decorations. They have one thing in common, they have both been burned in love and have no interest in a love life.

One day Libby goes through some old stuff in the attic and finds an unopened envelope from someone called CeCe. Inside there's a photo of her mother as a child and an older girl. The letter is sent from Holly Peak a town that has won the competition Best Christmas town. Libby decides to go there to check it out for an upcoming photo shoot that she has and also to try find out who this CeCe is.

Libby’s plan was to stay in Holly Peaks for a few hours but things happen and she ends up staying a little longer. She has more time getting to know CeCe and a certain someone who also lives there.

This book has it all, it has love, humor, Christmas, food, a cute puppy and a little sadness. I loved all the characters in this book. It is a perfect Christmas read!!

I received the advanced reader's copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. This is my first book written by the author. I have seen at least one of the movies she has written. The note that she has written Hallmark movies caught my attention. I'd chose a book to read over a movie any day. Christmas movies are a treat, so I had a feeling I'd really enjoy this book and I did. This is my unsolicited opinion.

Libby and Adam have a smashing and comical introduction. She is a busy business owner and is simply not in the mood for Christmas. Learning that the character was in mourning for her mother caught my attention right away as I lost mine a year ago. The author certainly grabs at a reader's feelings. Libby definitely reflects the emotions a person can have while dealing with loss and loneliness.
This is a sweet story. I don't want to give away any spoilers. It has what a Christmas book needs, good characters, something sad or challenging in the background, holiday ambiance and, of course, a dog!
