I really loved this book. It really can't be Christmas until I have read a book by Karen schaler and Karen Swan. This book did not disappoint. I loved it because it has all the right Christmas aspects you need in a good Christmas book. Love, finding new family and friends and those little dramas in life that we always suffer from. This book had me engrossed from the very start and was so close to getting that 5th star. It was an amazing page turning novel. I just loved the storyline as there was plenty of exciting and a brilliant roller coaster ride of ups and downs. There were so great unexpected events. I loved how this book included a Christmas competition between 2 rival little towns. It definitely made for some great reading. The book was packed full of amazing community spirit that wrapped me up in the story like a nice warm hug. The characters were great, relatable and believable. They developed well throughout the story. I loved how the weather messed up the best laid plans. The ending was great and it made the book feel complete. I definitely recommend this book if you love cosy Christmas stories with plenty going on. This book will definitely get you in the mood for Christmas.

So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating such an engrossing to lose yourself in. I will definitely be looking out for more books by this very talented author.

Libby Larson’s Christmas wish is to get the holidays over as fast as possible. After losing her mom, her only family, she’s bah humbugging Christmas, while desperately trying to save her childhood Seattle home.

I look forward to Karen's releases around the holiday season. I never miss a chance to enter the magic that created in her novels around the holidays. This was the Hallmark feel-good we crave!

This was the cutest Christmas story, and I would love to read more stories with these wonderful made characters. THe storyline was perfect , it has enough secrecy and mystery but not too much to make this a perfect Christmas story to read. I will definitely buy this book for the hard copy and to have all the cool recipes and activities the book has.

A sweet story that follows young PR manager, Libby, across Washington state over the Christmas season. She manages a Christmas PR campaign for a pet company and shares her social media wisdom with the townspeople of Holly Peak, all while trying to get through the first Christmas without her mom. There's a little bit of romance and mystery and drama, but nothing heavy or literary.

I enjoyed the characters in the story and it would definitely be a great Christmas movie, probably better than the book as the descriptions would be fun to see on the screen.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

i do love a Christmas romance ( I have not had one yet).
i made myself a lovely hot chocolate, got some biscuits and snuggled under the blanket to read this book the only thing that was missing was a big snowy house and a warm open fire but none the less i really enjoyed this lovely warm romantic read.
I really felt like i was there and found myself smiling the more i read.
This really should be on the Christmas list.

Thanks to HawkTale Publishing for giving me the opportunity to read LOVE ALWAYS, CHRISTMAS by Karen Schaler.

Five Stars from me!

Loved the Hallmark Christmas movie vibes. This story is very romantic. Despite the way they met, they still got that happy ending after all.

An only child, now an adult, thinks she has no family after her parents are gone. She is starting a new social media marketing business, while trying to keep her parents' house. She accidentally knocks over a big Christmas decoration at a neighbor's when the neighbor's adult son accuses her of being a Grinch because her house is the only house in the neighborhood without any Christmas decorations.

Add a cute dog, snow, a cute small town, and a wonderful surprise to this story and you get a wonderful story.

Highly recommended for fans of Hallmark romantic Christmas movies.

I love Christmas, and it has become a Christmas tradition to read the latest Christmas offering from Karen Schaler. The settings of the story are described in such a way that she transports you there and you can picture it rather vividly as a winter wonderland.
Libby lives in a community who just adore Christmas, and it’s a tradition for each house to decorate outside with Christmas lights. This year though, after the death of her mum, Libby is just not feeling it. She also has new neighbours next door and she inadvertently gets off on the wrong foot with their son, Adam.
A story of discovery, love, traditions and community spirit. This is a warm, feel-good novel that is designed to encourage you to sit in front of the fire, with your hot chocolate, snuggled in your throw on those cold winter nights.

Although somewhat predictable, this book is well written with a lot of lovely Christmas touches. Reading it will bring a little Christmas cheer your way.

Absolutely yes! I've loved Karen Schaler's writing for a while now, and read three other books by her (plus OBVIOUSLY watched A Christmas Prince movies) and this is another great one. I could picture it as another cheesy fluffy Netflix Christmas movie. It made me giggle out loud multiple times, and Riley feels like a best friend. Absolutely recommend to read to put you in that Christmas spirit, with a cup of hot cocoa.

When I first started, I was afraid if would be similar to a hallmark movie script but it was not. I enjoyed reading about each character and it helped get me into the Christmas mood. We picked it for our bookclub book for the month.

This book was a feel good Christmas story. One that I wouldn’t be surprised if it got turned into a movie.
This novel followed Libby working hard having by just started her own marketing company after having lost both of her parents and had no family left. She was struggling to pay the mortgage on her parents house and was maybe going to have to sell it if she didn’t do well with her new campaigns. Her family lived in a town that went all out for Christmas, however this year Libby didn’t bother to decorate her house. She didn’t want to celebrate Christmas this year as it reminded her how alone she was. Libby is looking for a new place for a shoot for a campaign and is suggested to go to Holly Peak. She goes there and everything changes…
I loved the relationship ship Libby had with Adam and CeCe, and how dedicated she was to help the people in Holly Peak.
One nit picky thing I didn’t like was the constant mention of hashtags with her marketing stuff. It would have been less annoying if maybe just general posts with hashtags were mentioned… but that is just personal preference.
I also thought that Cece’s reasoning for not contacting Libby or her family was strange. I expected it to be more dramatic and life changing rather than what it really was.
All in all it was a good read, that was heart warming and had a bit of mystery to it.

A charming, lovely romantic story to get you ready for the holiday season.
When Libby finds a mysterious, unopened letter that was dated to her mom 20 years ago, she decides to go and meet this mysterious person and find out how she knew her mom.
With the help from her new friend, Adam and his dog Rudolph, Libby might just find more than she expected.
This is a story that will keep you on your toes. From family secrets to cute animals, to Christmas galore, you won’t be able to put this book down.

I graciously received an advance e-copy for review. All opinions are my own.

What a wonderful feel good story that really gets you in the mood!this was a light and easy read that lets you escape to the magical Christmas towns. Libbie is relatable and adam is adorable. There is enough twists and turns to keep you intrigued but still straightforward enough to disappear. Highly recommended to start the season reading season.

What a great Christmas story!
Libby and Adam met in their neighborhood and then again later.
The first encounters are messy and funny, but Adam isn't too keen on Libby. She wants to get Christmas over with as soon as possible as it was her parents' favorite holiday.
On the search for the sender of a Christmas card, she ends up in a Christmas village and within a few days, events take a turn for the worse.

Great characters, great Christmas setting that invites you to dream. A background story that is very sad.
Everything you need for a great Christmas novel.

Have fun reading!
