This is a hard one to purely review because it’s such a unique reading experience. I want to just flail and push it into peoples hands and MAKE them read it.
Cooking and piracy aren’t two subjects one would often pair together - but Brown does and does so very well. It’s a fresh, utterly memorable yarn. It’s fun and fascinating and a breath of fresh air. Hannah Mabbott is a fantastic bit of fiction and I loved her from the start. A great novel and a lot of fun.
