Hilarious! This book starts where the previous one finished. No thanks to her horrible ex-husband who was verbally abusive, Carley Chapman is now a successful businesswoman with her own beauty shop and owner of half the building in which it resides. Her ex mother-in-law, who she loves, is co-owner of the building. She is moving from her small apartment to a renovated bunk house at the Creedence Horse Rescue Ranch. She is also being pursued by the handsome Deputy Knox Garrison. However, after her horrible marriage, she has no interest in any relationship with a man. So Knox first puts himself in the friend zone, until Carley's ex sneaks back into town. He is up to something, so Knox announces that they are engaged. Carly isn't so sure how she feels about that, but soon they move into sharing benefits. However, Carley isn't the only one with abandonment issues. Knox's ex, not only broke his heart, but took their dog too. Will they have the courage to tell each other how they really feel to get their HEA?

Lots of humor from the banter to the situations with the many rescued animals. Endearing characters include the personalities of the 4 legged ones. Lots of fun to read.

I read an ARC provided by th publisher via NetGalley.com. The is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Another book that starts out as fake dating to help each other out only turns into love down the road. This is actually a good book and better than what I was expecting. The characters were good and overall a nice story.

I have been provided with a review copy of Every Bit a Cowboy from NetGalley for an impartial review. I was just drawn into this wonderful story and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so easy to get lost in this great story. I just didn’t want it to end. I just lost myself in and I just couldn’t get enough of these interesting characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

I liked it ok, but i did not love it as much as I hoped to. Knox is a lovable character and Carley is sweet and nice and they both deserve happiness but the introduction of Paul, one of the worst people ever just made it seem all too annoying. I know I am supposed to hate him and I do, but for some reason it took my enjoyment away from the rest of the book. He was creepy and gross and I wanted him gone asap, not part of the complication for the nice story. It was also a little too insta-love and insta-lust for my taste, not so much a slow burn.

Ok so let me start by saying I didn't read the previous books...and I was slightly confused at times. I think I would have understood more if I had read those books. That being said, I definitely did enjoy this book! Carley owns a beauty salon that is the scene stealer from the very beginning! Knox is a recent addition to the local sheriff's office and is the one sent out to her salon. And this whole scene cracked me up and had me reading no matter what! What a way to start a book and get someone sucked into a story!! I love the interactions between Carley and Knox. I loved how everything progresses with their story and that they genuinely like each other. It's not just about physical attraction with them. I even liked the addition of all the different animals! I have added the previous books to my TBR list because this one was enough to suck me in!

This is a good book. The two main characters are Carley and Knox. Carley runs a beauty salon. Knox is a cowboy and sheriff. Carley and Knox pretend to date, then get engaged to try her ex husband from getting her back. There is an instant attraction. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

I really love this author and this series! She really knows how to make swoony cowboys and cute animals the star. Of course the romances are so wonderful. I love that they always give you all the feels as the two MC’s finally get their HEA’s! Carly and Knox are such a great match! Their chemistry is just wonderful! Things I loved about Knox was that he’s a stand up guy, who puts his feelings out there even though he has a past too. I really enjoyed that these two end up in a fake engagement as Carly’s ex husband comes to town. He’s not a good guy. Carly is also the owner of the town beauty parlor and she loves the town! She doesn’t want to marry again. It was so wonderful to watch these two fall for each other! Bonus that the animals were adorable! Such a great read! Can’t wait for what’s next from Jennie!

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

I'm seriously in love with all the random stray animals in this book!! The Friends goats are hilarious. Love Knox and Carley as well and the people of the town. Paul is truly terrible and I so wanted Carley to punch him! Can definitely be read as a standalone but I now want to read the others. I'm guessing the next book will be about Holt.

The fifth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series, this is deputy cowboy Knox Garrison and divorcée Carley Chapman's story. A well written action packed story with twists and turns that kept me turning pages. It has a very good storyline and was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a fun read! It was great to see the previous couples and some of the towns people and you can't forget those cute animals. Some parts were so funny that I could not help bursting out in laughter and there were parts so sad that it was hard not to cry - loved the addition of Angel and Spirit.

Wow, Knox and Carley sure walked a tightrope around their feelings and both had a hard time giving their all so it was a rocky start for them and then add in the ex-husband drama.

The only thing that I was annoyed with - if I was in Carley's shoes, I would have been more pro-active on what was happening with her building and what Paul was doing in the background. It was great that Knox did not push his way in and take over - probably most guys who want to help fix things!

Loved their HEA!

Every Bit a Cowboy was a heartwarming, small town romance. With fake dating, adorably cute farm animals and characters that leapt from the pages, this book was such a huge win!

“Lunch isn’t exactly what I’m hungry for…”
He left the statement open-ended, as if passing the flirty ball back to her side of the court. But as much as her body was responding to his words with surges of heat and crazy stomach flutters, this was one game she wasn’t prepared to play.

Carley Chapman was a hairdresser in town, and we got to meet her in Never Enough Cowboy. When she got her moving weekends mixed up, and her sister and friends weren’t available, she turned to Knox. Knox Garrison was a deputy in their town, who worked with her sister’s husband. They got along so easily and there was a definite spark between them! So when Carley’s horrific ex came back to town, who definitely had some creepy stalker vibes, Knox stood up for her and ended up stating they were engaged. Living in a small town had word spreading fast. And they both decided it was best to continue the farce, until her ex left town. What unfolded was so much fun!

“Oh, and Knox,” she said softly. “Thanks for checking in with me. It helped.”
“That’s what friends are for,” he said. “See you tonight.”
That’s what friends are for? He gave himself a mental head slap. Why had he said that? He didn’t want to be her friend.

Carley was definitely jaded from her past, since her ex was a complete douchebag. Because of him, she didn’t want to go on a date let alone have a relationship with a man. When she found out that Knox had said they were engaged, I was so nervous. When she agreed to go along with his plan, butterflies erupted. I had so much hope Carley. She never felt like she had a home anywhere. She moved around a lot as a kid and her ex-husband didn’t make things stable for them. So it was easy to understand why she internally struggled about Knox. She liked him and even though he kept helping her out, she was still terrified that he would hurt her. Or leave her, like everyone else did. I patiently waited for Carley to catch up with what her heart already knew, that Knox was one of the good ones.

She closed her fingers around his hand. “You’re a good man, Knox Garrison. Better than I deserve.”
“You deserve everything,” he whispered, the emotion stealing his voice.

Knox was so easy to love! He showed us time and again that he was kind, thoughtful and caring. He was so good to his townspeople and I loved how they thanked him with Twinkies lol. And I loved how he put his feelings out there. He was forward with Carley and let her know that he was interested. Even in front of others. So watching him care and protect Carley shined beautifully from the pages. When they started to pretend that they were engaged, it was impossible not to be giddy with the little touches here and there. Along with the moments they wanted to be seen together. But most of all I loved how hot their first kiss was! The passion and chemistry between them was electrifying! And together they made such a good team. They had similar pasts, similar friends and their friendship seemed seamless. I kept hoping they would switch from faking to real. They both deserved their HEAs!

A grin tugged at his lips. “You think I’m hot?”
She pressed her lips together as if trying not to smile, but in the end she failed. “Yes, of course I do. Remember our moment on the dryer?”
“Darlin’, to my dyin’ day, I will forever remember our moment on the dryer.”

Rounding out this story were side characters that were so easy to like….or dislike. I was so over the moon happy to see characters from It Started With a Cowboy, that’s one of my favorites in the Cowboys of Creedence Series! We saw soooo many of those we loved from that series and this one too. Plus we got to attend a wedding for a couple we love! While yes, you can easily read this as a standalone, I can’t recommend the other books in Cowboys of Creedence Series and Creedence Horse Rescue Series enough! There were also animals we adored from previous books and the introduction of new ones too. Otis and Tiny and their antics had me cracking up again! I wish they were real, I’d love to meet them! And the newest additions, awww sooo cute, and I loved the nod to Friends. Now for the dislike side, ohhh how I hated Paul and kept wishing for something bad karma to happen!

For just that moment in time, she let herself trust Knox, with her body and her heart, and surrendered herself to him.

Every Bit a Cowboy was a romantic fake dating romance that brimmed with tons of heart! With characters that were so easy to connect with, a town that felt like home, and friendships and love that filled the pages with so emotion, it was impossible not to love this book. I always pick up Jennie Marts books knowing that I’ll smile, laugh and fall in love, so I can’t wait to read her next release!

Creedence has become a special place in my heart. Jennie has created a wonderful place full of hunky cowboys and wonderful women. Carley is the sunny hairdresser in Creedence. She has had a hard time in getting back on her feet after her ex had brought her down with his cruel and demeaning behavior. But now, everything is looking good.

Knox has had a crush on the feisty and cheery hairdresser for a long time. An 1 although he flirts with her every time, she keeps regaling him to the friends zone. Knox's attempts to flirt with Carley are just adorable. And although I understood Carley's hesitance to start dating again, I found myself rooting for Knox.

When Carley's ex shows up and Knox accidentally tells him they are engaged, I laughed so hard, I had to run to the bathroom to avoid peeing in my pants. I could just see those cowboys bidding against each other. From there, the story flows from one funny scene to another.

And let's not forget about all the cute animals in the Creedence Horse Rescue Ranch. In all, yet another wonderful Creedence story. Can't wait for the next one! Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Every Bit of Cowboy is book 5 of the Creedence Horse Rescue Series, but it was a great stand alone! This was my first book by Jennie Marts and I loved it. The chemistry between Carly & Knox was so good. The characters were so relatable and all fun. And who doesn’t love cute farm animals?!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I absolutely love a good rom-com and this book delivered on the fake-dating trope and the character development. Every bit a cowboy is perfect for fans of cowboys romances and grumpy sunshine which follows a hairdresser with a to do list longer than my hair and a sheriff that cannot not lend a helping hand. An enjoyable read on how love always finds a way.

This book is part of a series and having not read the others I wasn't lost.
The story was a cute and fun fake relationship read with likable characters, some suspense, new love, new beginnings, and farm animals.

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the 5th book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series. I have loved this series so much, and this book is no different. I love all the animals in this book, and this book really lets the animals really shine. I also loved the flirting between the two main characters, and I just fell totally in love with the two main characters. There were so many funny and sweet times in this book. I loved every minute I spent reading this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Sourcebooks Casablanca) or author (Jennie Marts) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

A very pleasant addition to the Creedence Horse Rescue series! Carley Chapman, owner of Carley’s Cut & Curl has her life back on track after her divorce. Her business is booming and it is her “happy place”. Her plans to move to the cabin at the horse rescue are in jeopardy until Deputy Knox Garrison comes to the rescue. He is able to move her belongings and there is an obvious attraction between them. When her ex shows up and seems to want to reconcile, she knows he is up to something and she is adamant that her answer is NO. Knox steps in and tells her ex that he and Carley are dating…in fact they are engaged! Well, small-town rumors take over before he can tell Carley what he has done and the fun begins. Carley is shocked, but as they make plans to spend more time together, they soon realize that maybe engaged and even more is what they were meant to be. Romance, humor and that down home family atmosphere makes this a genuine and fun read. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Every Bit a Cowboy is book five in the Creedence Horse Rescue series by Jennie Marts. After reading the previous book, Never Enough Cowboy, and meeting Jennie and her sister, Carley, I have been so excited to read Carley’s book. Prepare yourself for all sorts of adorable barn yard animals, a very swoony cowboy and a woman who is just figuring out her strength and her worth.

Carley Chapman runs her own successful beauty parlor, Carley’s Cut & Curl in Creedence, Colorado. She loves this town and feels like what she does is so much more than just a place to get your hair done. It’s a place to make women feel beautiful, to empower them. Carley is divorced, has been for several years. Her waste of space ex husband did a number on her self confidence. He always made her feel bad about herself. So Carley has sworn off men. She has no interest in ever getting married again. But she can’t help but to flirt with the sexy deputy whenever they see each other.

Knox Garrison knew as soon as he first saw Carley that she was something special. She also has her heart locked down due to what her ex did to her. But he is determined to try to whittle down her defenses and convince her to go on a date with him.

When Carley’s ex shows up in Creedence, he seems to enjoy pushing all both Carley and Knox’s buttons. He obviously has something up his sleeve and it can’t be anything good. But, what Carley and Knox most definitely hadn’t planned on is a fake engagement.

We got such an adorable menagerie of animals in this book. Some of the ones from previous books, the huge pig that thinks he’s a dog, a demon goat named Otis and cat that seems to have adopted Carley. Now, if that’s not enough, we also are introduced to a whole bunch of insanely cute bouncing baby miniature goats. This was such a cute romance between Carley and Knox. Both have trust issues to overcome but the longer they are ‘fake’ engaged, the more both of them begin to wish it were real. So get ready to go back to Creedence and the Heaven Can Wait Horse Rescue Ranch,
