I don’t usually love a single mom story but I meet I had to read Moira. I loved Moira in the first book. She was a hard-working mom who was doing the best she could. She lost her husband at a young age and has go ribs three boys. Ethan wants a break from his being a lawyer to the rich and famous.

He is going to write a book in Alaska and take a break from a job he no longer loves. We had some sparks in the first book so I was ready for the sparks

While it was a sweet and super cute romance between Moira and Ethan however, I was there was a good sex scene. I feel like this story needed some spice. The big conflict in the end was a little to manufactured ..both parties were totally wrong but they could have cleared it up with a conversation. Instead it was made into a thing for a couple of chapters.

A good cute read thou, the kids were cute and they were written their age.

Entertainment lawyer Ethan headed to Alaska to write but met Moira instead. Her son won tickets to a Dodgers' game in LA and Ethan pulled out all the stops to charm her.

Love Ethan! He's terrific. Funny, caring and smart. I feel bad Moira and it was so nice that Ethan was there for her. Love this romance... :) The side characters are funny too. So many LOL scenes

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

the premise alone had me drawn in. I am in love with anything that Whitney and Melanie write. This one was great.

Whitney and Melanie outdid themselves with the second book in their Gamble on Love series! You will laugh out loud as you follow Moira’s and Ethan’s journey to a happily ever after. Moira’s children and Ethan’s parents (along with Harper & Digger) solidify A Hate Like This as one of my favorite 2022 reads! Full of family, love, and second chances, this is a book that will melt your heart with giddy excitement.
