Eve and Viv have a catering gig at a very mysterious and private school. While Viv shares all the tales from her days there, this is Eve’s chance to see it for herself. With famous former student as the main guest for Founder’s Day, you would think everyone would welcome Natalie back, but there are quite a few who are NOT happy to have her there…and her speech at the event doesn’t make things any better.

With Natalie all over Robin, Eve herself finds the woman annoying. But when Natalie is found dead, Robin is the main suspect. Can Eve fiure out who truly did the woman in, or will Robin be torn from her life and sent to prison? Not if Eve can help it!

This series is so well written! I enjoy each one of the entries and they grab you from page one and don’t let you go until you read the last sentence. With enough red herrings to keep you guessing, you’ll be trying to figure it out right along with Eve…and get the right suspect just as she does. A great series that is not to be missed by the cozy mystery lover!~

Another solid and entertaining entry in this series about obituary writer Eve, who gets caught up in another mystery. This story is centered around events at a girls’ boarding school and quickly becomes very personal for Eve as a loved one gets drawn into the mystery. As always, the writing is good and the dialogue is believable, with events moving quickly. There is a big change for Eve’s personal life in a very satisfying conclusion. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this book…this book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. This is one of my favorite publishers…Eve is the protagonist…she tries to solve the mystery. Her boyfriend helps, and her best friend does too…there is a cast of characters in this book that come alive on the pages. This author is talented and gifted at keeping the reader intrigued…the setting is at an all girls’ school, but mostly only the adult staff is involved…what will happen next? Who will be unsafe? Who is guilty? There are red herrings throughout this novel that threw me off. I eventually guessed who did the murder, but it took me awhile. CurL up in a comfy chair with a warm Afghan and a cup of steaming herbal tea…become lost i. This delightful whodunit…I can’t wait for more books by this author.
