I really enjoyed this book! It was full of twists and turns, and kept my interest until the very last page!

I did not finish this book so I don’t really want to rate it badly. I just couldn’t get into it like I had wanted to. Thanks so much for the opportunity though! I really appreciate it.

Wanda Dellas is living someone else's life: that's the sense she's had since a mysterious accident robbed her of her long-term memory. Lost and barely scraping by, Wanda cleans offices at night in order to support her young daughter.
Then Wanda sees a news report about a presumed dead businesswoman, Claire Stanbrick. Bad enough that Claire bears an uncanny resemblance to Wanda. But it turns out Claire went missing around the same time as Wanda's accident, too. Plus, she can’t shake the sense that Claire’s husband Jack, who’s serving time in prison for Claire’s murder, is innocent. And she’s beginning to develop feelings for him. But which feelings are real and which are just figments of her fractured memory?
Answers to the past often come at a price.
As Wanda learns more about Claire, she realizes Claire didn’t have the picture-perfect life Wanda imagined . . . a fact someone following her is determined to keep a secret. And the more Wanda discovers, the more she faces new dangers that threaten her life . . . or is it Claire’s?

This is an amazing read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

I swear I've read this story before . . .

Not only that but while I thoroughly enjoyed the who's who element between the two timelines, it just didn't quite work in the end. There were some unexpected twists, but again, a fair share of it was unoriginal.

A debut novel filled with twists, turns, suspense and thills.

I really enjoyed this debut novel! There were twists and turns everywhere and I was guessing up until the very end. Great writing and great premise for a thriller.

This book is a slightly varied version of a well established genre. But it’s very well done. It was refreshing to read. Plus the characters are honestly all pretty good described and the story is captivating.

The best books are said to evoke strong feelings, so this must be a real good book. I really did not like the main character Wanda. She is very unlikable on so many fronts. And, as she is trying to determine her true identity, I was rooting against her. I unfortunately made my guess of the outcome at the beginning of the book and was right. The book has many twists and turns - some improbable and others impossible - as you learn about Wanda and Claire, their histories and their interactions. Although this was supposed to be a story of love between spouses and between a mother and daughter, I didn't feel it. That said, if you didn't guess it from the start, it is a good buildup from confusion to conclusion.

Forget Me: Lisa Sherman
Success and the perfect life-
Betrayal and an accident-
Waking up to a new life with a child and no memories?
This 5-star debut novel will have you hooked before chapter 1 even begins! The further you delve into the life of Wanda and the memories of Claire; you’ll keep begging for more until the very end. With twists around every corner, you’ll think you have all the answers only to find you have no idea what is going on. Sherman knows how to paint a vivid picture and keep you on the edge of your seat. This book is a wild ride for sure!

The synopsis for this story is promising. So I was hoping for a good thriller with a case of unknown identity, presumed innocence and maybe redemption. The idea for the story and plot elements are there but the execution is poor.

This book is told in two timelines. Wanda narrates the present and Claire narrates the past. We’re told that these women look exactly alike, so who is who?? The author tries to create mystery/suspense but it just doesn’t click. In the present. Wanda is living with her husband Carl and her daughter Astrid, but has no memory of her past since being shot and found in the river while pregnant. In the past, Claire is a successful businesswoman in a loving marriage with a seemingly perfect life. We later find out that Claire’s husband Jack is in jail for her murder as she is presumed dead. Wanda feels he is innocent and sets out to prove it.

Unfortunately the flow of the story did not work for me. The characters are flat. . Everything is told, not shown so there is no real feeling of knowing the characters, caring about them, or understanding why they made certain choices. The dialogue tries to convey this but doesn’t work.
There was no real suspense as the outcome was obvious. It was a quick read and I wanted to know the ending but it could have been written and developed way better.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of their book in exchange for my opinions on this book.

The story of Wanda and Claire is so full of twists and turns it keeps you hooked! Wanda feels like she is living someone else's life after she had a mysterious accident and has no memory. And weirdly Claire disappeared around the same time. Are the two incidents related?

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and author for my ARC!

Thank you NetGalley and Speaking Volumes for the copy of Forget Me. What a great premise for a book. Sadly, the buildup was really long and not very engaging but the ending was dynamite. I wish the stories of Wanda and Claire’s lives had been more nuanced. If you love great twists you will love this book, but it wasn’t really for me.

Excellent book, loved this. Nailbiting suspense with great characterisation. I did get a bit frustrated with the main character, not challenging some of the actions of the others, but the twist at the end was very clever. Couldn’t put this book down from the time I started. Highly recommended.

This book was sent to me by Netgalley electronically for review. Thanks to the publisher. The protagonist does not know who she is. She is frightened and suspicious of those around her. Family and friends…love and romance…children…careers…secrets abound…this author has written a cannot put down novel. This would make a great movie. Unique concept…
