Another great entry in the Quantum Empirica series, it does what I was hoping for. It solved a lot of the threads in this book and with the series. I enjoyed the way Gerald Brandt wrote this and the rest of the series. The characters were what I was hoping for and felt like the same characters throughout the books. I can't wait to read more from the author as I really enjoyed this scifi series.

"He’d felt the insanity that had plucked at both of them, and he’d had Baila to thank for coming out of it mostly intact. Ada didn’t get away that lightly. She’d lived on the edge of sanity since that battle, and it showed in how she’d accumulated Skends and followers."
