I throughly enjoyed this novel. In fact, it’s one of the few lately that has held my attention throughout the entire story. While I could see a few things coming, I never felt like rushing though it. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This was one heavy book. While it seemed dark and heavy, i really enjoyed hearing about her relationships.
Don't miss this one!

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

Yes, it does feel as though we have heard similar stories before, but Cohen's description of her first love, how she felt and how it all felt possible and impossible at the same time kept me reading this book.

It takes a lot of courage to write your own story, especially in this world where this love is often not spoken of.

The writing is on point, raw at times and even provocative, but the author does a great job of "making us live with her" as she tries to sort out her feelings and her role in this relationship.

Very engrossing story.

I have recently taken a liking to non-fiction reads and this one really taught me a lot. I didn’t realize how interesting this topic was until I finished reading and had to sit with what I had just learned. I definitely would read more from this author.

I haven't cried at the end of the book in SO long. Felice's story of her coming of age and dealing with forbidden love left me with some tears. All I wanted to do when I wasn't reading her story was get back to reading more of her book!

I loved her writing and how descriptive she was with what was happening in her life and with the relationships she was having. Another plus for me was the setting of a college campus that just happens to be about twenty minutes from my house. I enjoyed recognizing stores, shops, cafes, restaurants and more throughout Western Mass where Felice attends and works and falls in love at UMASS Amherst.

If you desire to read a book that will have you thinking about the story long after you've finished it, pick up Felice Cohen's Half In. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with the chance to read this vulnerable memoir that had me ALL IN!
