I Feel Grateful for My Day by Sara and Damaso Medina is a great book to read to remind us of our blessings in life. I Feel Grateful for My Day chronicles the blessings we are given each day. I loved how this book points out the little things we have to be thankful for each day. This is not a book that can be read during Thanksgiving, but any time of the year. I highly recommend this book for any type of story time. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

Feeling a bit down recently and this book appeared in an email newsletter, which prompted me to read it. I loved the rich colours and illustrations. The rhymes were fun but most of them felt forced, which distracted me from fully enjoying the book.

This is a good resource for helping young children navigate difficult feelings and practise gratitude. It's definitely catered to just kids though, as the scenarios portrayed in the book aren't relevant to adults. I was hoping for something that readers of all ages - including myself - can resonate with.

While reading the poem I was imagining all the lessons I can do to to accompany it.

I am re-evaluating this ARC from Netgalley due to the fact I received it without images the first time.

This story is a wonderful. The images depicting ways to be mindful and take deep breathes are a nice touch. I will be buying this title for some nieces and nephews this year. It sets a beautiful example of what gratitude means and I appreciate that

This was a lovely poem but I think it really needed some illustrations or images as it was lacking in something to keep my daughter engaged

It is 3 stars from me, content was great but as a book for kids it was lacking

What a sweet, precious book for Christian boys and girls that talks about the day in the life of a child. Though I don’t agree with the meditation page (seems sacrilegious to the Christian faith), I do like that it’s teaching children coping skills when things don’t go their way. The book is well illustrated also.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I love the mantra vibe of this read. I think this is a great tool to read with kids to set their mind right. Especially after a long day at school it can be helpful to review all the things they can be grateful for and things maybe that frustrated them and really open the dialogue with my kids.

This is a cute story. I can picture myself with my child on my lap enjoying the book with them. It's very important to teach children from a young age to recognize all they have and be thankful for it. The review copy for kindle did not include pictures, which would have been nice to see and would have added a lot to the experience. The only downside to me is the use of the word "lucky," (it's not a bad word, we just don't say it in our family) which was used at least twice. "Blessed" or "happy" would have been more appropriate, in my opinion, but for others it would not detract from the story. Overall, I recommend this book.

The message in this book is wonderful. Its all about being grateful for the things you take for granted, such as the simple ability to kick a ball, or having a good lunch to eat, even their own room to clean. I hope parents can read this to their children to remind them to be thankful for what they have. I was not able to see pictures, only text, and I think nice illustrations would have added a bit more.
