The Prisoner's Wife by Ali Blood

Emma’s husband claims he is innocent.
Emma’s husband is a liar.

And he’s not done with her yet…
Really enjoyed this , you feel a creeping horror of it. Lots of twists .
They say keep your friends close , and your enemies closer which is what Emma did with her husband's family.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from Avon Books UK and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Fantastic read I found highly entertaining.

When Emma's husband is arrested and subsequently sentenced to five years in prison, she begins to understand how dangerous he is.
The novel progresses from that turning point by developing the characters (some of them loathsome) and with some twists and turns and a slow (which is not to say boring) but steady pace leads to a satisfying ending.
Although the subject matter is not overly original, the book is well written and intriguing enough to keep one's attention throughout.
I will definitely read more of Ali Blood's books.

This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. From the beginning, this book is mysterious. The main character wants her husband in prison. She has to pretend to be sad with his family. From the first page, I was guessing at what would happen next. This is not a warm and cozy book. This is a gritty novel with suspense. The story moves slowly at times.
