A great continuation of the Callie and Cash series! I love all the thriller aspects intertwined with romance, humor and of course suspense.

Weissbourd’s second entry in the Callie and Cash series is filled once again with a memorable cast of characters, a twisty turny plot and non-stop action, which makes sense given his previous career as a screenwriter and producer. The balance of drama, tension and humor is nicely done and it was great seeing everyone back together again. The only drawbacks: the dialogue could be a bit clunky and repetitive at times and the plotline was a little too unbelievable (although by then I was in it till the end). Oh and be sure to check out Callie and Cash‘s first book, Danger in Plain Sight.

I received this eARC thanks to NetGalley and Rare Bird Books/ Blue City Press, Rare Bird Books in exchange for an honest review.

Callie and Cash are back in the second installment in A Callie James Thriller series. This time, we find these two love birds building their nest in Seattle, and attempting to steer clear of danger in plain sight.

All goes as planned for a year, until a young girl comes calling for Cash with a shocking, unbelievable story. Someone has stolen her identity, and is trying to kill her. She also has a life-changing secret to tell, as well.

Guess who’s on the case - Cash, Callie and their misfit band crime fighters. This romantic suspense novel serves-up the perfect amount of fancy and bad boy for another page-turner in the series.

Thank you Rare Bird IT gifted copy of book #2.

I love a good mystery series and I loved following up on where Callie is two years after when the first book takes place. But just like any mystery series danger lurks in the shadows. I do enjoy the mis off mystery, thrill and the romance betweenCallie and Cash.

I really enjoyed this story and will be checking out Burt Weissbourd’s other books

After reading 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, it was great to be back with Callie and Cash.

𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 moves ahead two years, and Callie and Cash
are now romantically involved. But danger still stalks them.

While dining at Callie’s restaurant, The Bronze Pig, one night, the couple is approached by a young female guest named Sara. She tells them a wild story: someone has stolen her identity, and they are trying to kill her, and oh hey, she has a big secret to share.

The wild and dangerous adventure begins as Callie and Cash agree to help Sara. This is what I enjoy about this series, the motley crew that Callie and Cash work with who feel like family and the interesting and exotic places they travel to.

𝘍𝘶𝘯, 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴!

Thank you @getredprbooks and @burtweissbourd for a gifted copy and a spot on tour.

This is a new author for me, and I enjoyed this. It's a bit gritty, and I stayed mostly engaged. It has a good mystery and some action along the way. Pretty good.

Thanks very much for the free ARC are review!!
