It was a cute story that really emphasized friendships and how they can withstand even moving to another country.

I enjoyed the last chapter the most and the illustrations that accompanied it.

The book seemed to be a bit bland at some spots andi do think it could of been shorter.

Will has spent his whole life in the Midwest on the family ranch. His best friend is his dog Mia. After discovering some lost toys, Will wants to solve the mystery of who they belong to and ends up meeting the new family in town during his search. But the new family isn't like anything Will is used to. They are different. Very different. They dress strangely, speak strangely and use words Will has never heard before. How can Will make friends with the family's young daughter when it appears they have nothing in common on the outside?

With a strong message of accepting differences, diversity, exploring world cultures and befriending those who may not be exactly like you, this story is important for all children to read.

This story was both entertaining and educational, which can be a tricky balance to maintain in a children’s book, and I will be suggesting it to teachers whenever possible. Incorporating social-emotional skills and topics such as this into children's picture books is a tried and true way to teach an important life skill in a way that is fun. This would be an amazing addition for classroom libraries, counselling offices and more.

Thank you, Salem Author Services, for the advance reading copy.

The book is so cheerful and bright inside out. It gives such good vibes that I felt suddenly happy and fresh the moment I set eyes on the very first page.

The illustration is perfect. The colours cheered me up and it's not everytime that a children's book would do this to every reader.

I like how the characters are represented. The story is fun to read with a little touch mystery in it.

A feel good story overall. You will enjoy this book.
