What a great thriller! I couldn't put this book down! GREAT read. The title and cover drew me in and the story was no different. I loved receiving perspectives from both main characters and getting a glimpse into their thoughts and actions. I found myself flipping the pages so quickly to figure out what was going on.

After reading Five Strangers, I knew I had to read this one as well. This story is a psychological thriller involving a murder survivor, a love triangle, a dead body and much more. The story is told in the perspective of two people, Mia and Rich. They decide to move to Almeria, Spain. Everything seems to be great until a body is discovered in the village which has eerily similarities to something that happened in Mia's past.

I also get intrigued by books with characters/places that I can relate to. My mom's side of the family is from Spain, so when I notice that books involve people of similar ethnicities as me, I have to support and read the book. Especially when there are parts spoken in Spanish. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store for the future. Looking to reading more of their work!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this early arc of Murder Grove by E.V. Adamson.

In this story we are following Mia & Rich, they are just a regular couple of 30 year olds who decide to leave their lives in pursuit of a new adventure in Spain. It seemed like the perfect place to escape, until it wasn’t. There is a body that has been discovered in a nearby olive grove, and oddly enough it seems very similar to something that happened to one of our main POV’s past.

I live for stories told in multiple POV’s, as I feel like it makes the book fly by faster and I enjoy seeing how each character is thinking. I also enjoyed the setting, We as the readers, really felt like we were inside of this small Spanish village. I also found the atmosphere to be quite spooky at times. Overall, this was a very fun read.

Family and friends…love and family…mystery and secrets…this book of mystery is a page turner…that being said, the story moved slowly…the characters were less than dynamic, but the plot thickened as I read. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. I thank the publisher. A whodunit with gory details…

I wanted to enjoy this but I feel like it was not what I was expecting, I was left wanting more but also... not wanting to read another.
