Ugh, I hate giving a bad review. This just wasn't for me. Although insta-love isn't my favorite, I wanted to give this a try. I don't know that this really qualified as insta-love? Insta-sex maybe? The conversations between the main characters seemed stilted and extremely shallow. There wasn't an ounce of depth to the story. I actually think the main female lead spoke more with her friend in the story than she did speaking to the love interest. Sorry, I just couldn't like this one.

We Shouldn't was a quick steamy read. I think the couple would have hooked up quicker than what they did if Liam had told Emma he was living with his best friend not girlfriend. I was curious about what was his relationship with his dad. I enjoyed reading this book.

Emma Macomber feels like her life is finally beginning when she moved into her first apartment!
At twenty-four years old, she makes it her goal to befriend her neighbours and get a head start in the next chapter in her life until she stumbles right into her next-door neighbour, Liam Morrison.
The perfect specimen of a man who’s completely off-limit with a girlfriend, no less.
Will Emma be able to resist the charming man or give in to temptation?

If you like short stories then give this one a try. It was a good read but I personally would of liked a bit more back story and relationship building.

Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. I am still sitting here with my mouth hanging open because the end of the book was there in about 10 minutes. I hoped for a second short story but it's OK. I will be looking for anything from this author now! What a way to wake me up. HA HA

This was a very quick read. I wish the author would have gone into more depth about Emma and Liam’s budding friendship. I think that would have helped make the final scene more believable, because the way they speak to each other when they finally hook up is as if they’re in love. Maybe they’re on their way, but the reader can’t grasp that from the story.

what is not to love about a plus size girl and a man who is so taken with her that it is for him and them. They are meant to be and you are like, I am there for it all.

Well, after reading a slow ass, could not finish it. THIS is a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!!

Its short and sweet. and I had butterflies, I felt something.
It's so cute, and simple. and I can see myself in a character. someone that is plus size.

maybe this is why I loved it so much?

I understood the characters flaws, qualities, mindset. in just a few pages!
I will definitely be looking forward, to reading this authors books. cause this was fire.

5 STARS!!!

This is a quick, easy read. I didn’t love the characters or the miscommunication trope. The progression was a little choppy and uneventful. I didn’t love this story. 2 ⭐️

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This short story by Isabelle M is sweet and spicy. Emma moves into a new apartment and meets her neighbor, Liam. Is everything as it seems?
For it being only four chapters, we get enough of who Emma and Liam are as their relationship progresses. Insta-love romance is right!

To be fair, I do not like stories told in third person. At all.
This story is written completely in third person so I simply had a hard time getting into it.
It’s four chapters so if your looking for a super short story, here you go!

This was a super quick and easy read that I absolutely loved! The two main characters are both sweet and shy but have some amazing chemistry between one another that is intoxicating to as the reader. It was fast paced and such an insta love that there wasn't any serious drama within the book. That being said, it was simply cute and fun. The zero drama within the book made me like it that much more! Definitely an easy read for someone looking for something quick and cute!

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Short and sweet curvy love story that goes way too quickly. Emma and Liam are neighbors and there is definitely attraction when they first meet but Emma is under the impression Liam is taken.

Will the truth come out before it’s too late?

This is a novella that I wish I could get more of. Liam and Emma were super cute and the instalust was very adorable.

I wanted so much more from these two. They have the makings of being a tad longer than a Novella. More of Liams background with his parents - his relationship with Nat.

There was a little bit of drama but it wasn't overly angsty. The spice was nice!

Cute, fun, flirty romance with a little bit of spice. I didn’t realize and can’t get over how short the story was. We meet fun characters in Emma &Liam. Then it quick skips to the tension of wanting to be together with a little conflict. They get together and we are done. It doesn’t have a page count but altogether I read whole book in under an hour. I wanted more story, if I had gotten more story this would be a 4 star read but there just wasn’t enough there for me.

I am a big fan of novellas. I've read about 400. I love insta-love, alpha male, super cheesy, all the good stuff. Which, I think this unfortunately lacked. I don't even know if you could call this a novella because of how short it was (four chapters). We barely got to know the characters -- other than the fact that neither of them are the brightest and know how to read social cues. At one point the MMC is on the phone with his dad, and makes it sound like he is dating his roommate, which is what we the reader, and the FMC are currently thinking. We ultimately found out this isn't the case, so when the phone call with his father goes no where, it leaves me asking, well than what was the point? There are only four chapters and the two MCs spend maybe 50% of the whole story talking/interacting?
Also this story and author's writing would benefit from switching to first person instead of third person. With the nature of this "story," (both in plot and length) the third person narrator makes it feel like I'm being told a story by the old lady who lives on the stoop and is regurgitating the neighborhood gossip.
It's not "bad", I just don't recommend reading it.
Oh and the title makes 0 sense and has absolutely nothing to do with the plot. Wouldn't be surprised if the author just picked a random romance phrase to slap on the cover that they knew would get attention ].

I enjoyed this short story. I would have liked to see it fleshed out into a full length novel. Delving deeper into Luke’s relationship with his father, more into Emma’s assumption about a Luke and Natalie and their dynamic with Luke’s father. Some more resisting attraction from Luke and Emma. But it’s still a great insta-lust story.

Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Emma moves into a new apartment, and can’t resist her sexy new neighbor Liam.

This is a short story, and gets right to the point with the spice. It wasn’t bad, but I felt like there could’ve been a lot more to it. Liam’s relationship with Nat, and Emma’s relationship with Lily seem so vague. There also could’ve been a whole lot more development between Emma and Liam.

This was a quick read, but full of super sexy Liam and plenty of hot and steamy romance, definitely on the short side would have liked it to be longer but still a great bit of spice

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

This was a really fun and sexy quick read. I do mean quick. Super insta lust. Entertaining and quick... Did I say quick?

This novella was a steamy, fast-paced romance. Emma and Liam fall hard and fast for each other through deep conversations. I wanted more from this! I felt like I couldn't get as involved because I didn't know the characters as well as I wanted to. The author did a great job writing these characters and making them lovable, but I just wish I had more. I would read from this author again. Thanks to the author and NetGalley for the book!
