An entertaining variation on ‘The Mask’ theme. The ancient masks here are seemingly trying to do good, drawn to give their superpowers to teenagers with the powers related to the lives of those the masks are attracted to. A complete story in its own right, this appears to be the first of a new comic series, setting the scene with a fast paced entertaining story. Each of the teenagers in the story has their own unique back story, which allows the reader to explore different life issues. The narrative and art work will appeal to teenagers, YA and adults too.
