The last installment in the no more series and it did not disappoint. I truly enjoyed all three books written from the sibling perspectives. It was a great way to understand the family dynamic of them and even being in the same family, they all grew up so differently. From the treasured favorite to the trouble maker. I am sad that we are done with the family and would love to explore more. I love all of Kerry's books and look forward to the next series.
I was given and advanced reader copy to review but already have preordered and advised my book club to do so too.

This is my 3rd book by Kerry Lonsdale and I remember loving her book Side Trip so much back in 2020. 15 year old homeless Shiloh meets Lucas, a man on the run from the police. This is truly a heartbreaking story and the characters just come to life right before our eyes. She is a phenomenal story teller and I was up awake at night thinking about this book that I just had to finish it at 3 am. It hooked me from the first page and I loved it! Thanks so much to NetGalley and the publisher for this early release. To be published March 2023.

Kerry Lonsdale has quickly become one of my go to authors. This series guarantees that she will continue to be an author whose books I read without even checking out the book description first. I was lucky enough to be in the group of early readers for all three books in this series, No More Words, No More Lies, and No More Secrets.

Lucas' book was the perfect end to this series. From the first glimpse of him in No More Words, I had wondered what his story was. I felt for him even when it seemed that his family was no longer expecting anything from him. I knew that there had to be something that he was hiding. I love that Kerry made him a truly good man even if he had a rough start. The lies and secrets that this family had to deal with was enough to break just about anyone. I love that Olivia, Lily and Lucas were strong and even stronger together.

The new character in this book were heart warming. I love Shiloh and how she and Lucas developed a friendship. I think that it showed Lucas' true character that he wanted to protect Shiloh. I think it was partly to make up for the last time he had seen Lily, but I think a deeper part was that he a good man.

I truly loved this book and this series. I feel that it was wrapped up so wonderfully. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

Thank you to NetGalley, Lake Union Publishing, and Kerry Lonsdale for the ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Wow! The third novel in the "No More" series and this is Lucas's journey!
This story is detailed and well done.
Lucas has been running for years from family and friends; always looking behind him as he traveled everywhere and yet nowhere.
Fear, guilt, anxiety ,anger, love and compassion are all rolled in to the character of Lucas Carson..

I absolutely adored the new character, Shiloh.
A young teen, she is also on the run and has many of the same fears and anxieties as Lucas.
Lucas takes her into his apartment and in to his heart, to save her from living in a car in a junk yard and the friendship slowly emerges.
Will they be able to outrun their apprehensions and trauma?

This is a wonderful continuation of this trilogy that can be read independently, yet is so much better if you start with "No More Words" and then "No More Lies".
You cannot go wrong!

Thank you to @NetGalley and to @LakeUnion Publishing for this ARC and allowing me to provide my own review after reading.

I had the opportunity to read No More Secrets as an ARC. I’ve read all of Kerry Lonsdale’s previous titles and No More Secrets does not disappoint. I’ll admit that I couldn’t recall the details of the earlier books in the series when I started the book. I could have used a prologue to refresh my memory. However, I was immediately sucked into the untold story of Lucas and the events that lead him to California City. I found his story compelling and his road to redemption and recovery intriguing. The story line of Sunshine Girl was unexpected and her experiences tied in both the past and the present. I’m looking forward to a Lucius and Sophie love story in the future (hint hint).

No More Secrets
By Kerry Lonsdale

Lucas Carson leads a self-imposed solitary life. He hasn’t put down roots since he left home amid the turmoil of his father’s death. Moving often, he drifts through his life keeping the secrets that haunt him hidden. Lately, things are beginning to change. He is starting to feel comfortable living in the Mojave Desert working in a small convenience store and doing repairs in the apartment building he lives in. He loves working with his hands and is good at it.

Just as he begins to think he may have found the place he can settle down, Shiloh Bloom, a fifteen-year-old homeless girl, flies into his radar. She is in trouble and reminds Lucas of the sister he hasn’t seen for a very long time. Against all of his self-imposed rules, he helps Shiloh. It might be the end of his freedom, but there is the possibility this friendship will help set him free from the demons of his past that haunt him. But facing the hard truths of what really happened leading up to leaving his family might just be too much for him.

This is the third and final book in Kerry Lonsdale’s No More series. She brings the characters to life on the pages, pulling readers into the lives and stories of the three siblings. Each book in the trilogy enriches and compliments the other books by allowing Lily, Olivia and Lucas to tell his or her stories through their own eyes. Like a beautiful tapestry, the trilogy weaves a complexly beautiful picture that would have been lost without all three main characters adding their own perspective and feelings. I highly recommend reading the entire series. The writing is superb, pulling the reader in on the first page and not letting go until the final words.

Bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale is the co-founder of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and the #1 Kindle bestselling author. She is a Wall Street Journal bestselling author. I have read the No More series, as well as Side Trip, Last Summer and Everything We Keep. The rest of her novels are on the top of my to-be-read list.

No More Secrets – This is the third book in the series that is from Lucas’s point of view. The book covers the events early in his life that affects him still today. This is his journey to find forgiveness for things he did and things he did not do. Olivia and Lily are both now united in search of their brother. Lucas running from his past unable to handle his guilt and it isn’t until he meets Shiloh Bloom, a 15 yr old girl homeless, that he has a chance to help her since he did not help Lily. It is his relationship and help he provides to her that he starts to understand that everything in the past was not his fault. Will they be able to help each other and find hope in the future? Will Lucas reunite with his sisters? Will Shiloh ever go back home?

This book as well as this series is very different from some of the prior books by Kerry Lonsdale. I have enjoyed this series very much and look forward to future projects. Thanks to Netgalley for complimentary copy.

“ They’re good people. People who’ve been broken, struggled, and have put themselves back together.“
Lucas, Olivia, and Lily have all been running from the past.
Each one having to find their own way, and in a way that separated them from each other.

This is Lucas’s story, The guy who is not only been running from his past, he’s trying forget his past and remember his past all at the same time and I for one have been waiting for this book since I read the first one, while you can read this as a standalone you’re going to want to start at the beginning and buckle In for all the Carson family drama

I devoured this book, the story, the family, Lucas, Shiloh and who couldn’t love Ivy. !

This book ties up the trilogy of the story of Lucas and his sisters, Olivia and Lily. I could not put this down. This final book in the trilogy focuses on Lucas and his story and answers all the questions of where he's been, and why wasn't he there when his sister's needed him the most, especially when dealing with their toxic parents! Kerry Lonsdale does not disappoint. This book will keep you wanting to know more with each turning page! A must read!!

No More Secrets
A Novel
by Kerry Lonsdale

Thanks to NetGalley, and Lake Union Publishing for the advance copy.
Well yikes,
this was a young man who seeks redemption from his past in the third novel from the "No More" trilogy by Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale. Hence my bad. I thought it was one book. Missed the whole word TRILOGY. Finally rewired my brain to this fact, and the book was pretty good. Never mind I did not the back stories I missed. I would go back and now read the first two. Well, and a solid written book.

Lucas is on the run after killing his father. He ends up in California City, and works at a shop. The owner of the shop, Ivy, has taken him under her wing, giving him a job and an apartment.
Lucas is suicidal, and an alcoholic, and is bearing a lot of guilt for not assisting his younger sister when she most needed help. She ran away from home at a very young age, and he hasn't seen her since.
A young girl, Shiloh, who is a runaway, comes into the shop and shoplifts. She reminds Lucas of his younger sister, Lily.
Shiloh is living in an abandoned car, and Lucas saves her from being assaulted, and takes the teenager home.

Lucas and Shiloh become friends and it seems as though they found each other in time to save each other.

The story unfolds exposing all the secrets that the two are keeping from each other.

The book was very good, I liked the characters, Lucas struck me as weak, and then gained strength along the way as he admitted to his errors in life.

I did not realise this was book 3 of a trilogy, and would like to read the first two books as well.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

What a thrilling conclusion to this series, Lucas's story is my favorite. We get to see him face his demons and reunite with his sisters, while that plot twist at the end has me begging for Charlottes story. I'm thrilled that each of her children worked through her web and were able to become better people pushing past their trauma. Shiloh was a palate cleanser of a character and I adored her so much. A great read all around and one that should not be missed in the series.

Thanks to the publisher, NetGalley, and Kerry Lonsdale for the chance to read this ARC. What a great conclusion to the series featuring 3 siblings and their stories. I have read several books by Kerry and this one did not disappoint. Even though this is part of a series, it really reads like a standalone, as details are shared from each of the three siblings’ past; but to fully know the full stories, read all three.

Wow, what a powerful story! This book can be read separately, but to get all the background, I recommend reading the entire series. I read each book as it was released, and I now want to go back and reread them one after the other. I am sure I forgot things that happened that were important to the plot and would have so much more insight reading them back to back.

This series is about the Carson family and each book focuses on a different child, book one - Olivia, book two - Lilly and this book (three) is about Lucas. A family, from all outward appearances to be perfect, is in fact the total opposite.

The author, Kerry Lonsdale is a master of creating a plot that makes me think it will end a certain way, only to prove me wrong in what I expected to happen. I care about the characters she creates so much and am on pins and needles waiting to see how their future will unfold.

I do not know how an author, that works for months, sometimes years writing a book, feels when a reader finishes their book in a day o two, but I hope that is a huge compliment to them. I read this book in two days and I had a difficult time putting it down to do things I had to do, since I just wanted to sit and read!

I highly recommend this book and the entire series!

A huge thank you Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley for giving me the immense pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.
