Felidmid I is a fey, When wondering the moors he spies the woman of his dreams. Nora is American, she’s looking for something or someone special. When these two meet sparks fly. The only problem, how to convince a human the fey do exist.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

I loved this book, the description of Ireland made me fall in love with it and want to visit it for myself. I felt like Ireland was its own character besides the two main characters. I enjoyed this wonderful short read and highly recommend it. It was steamy and mythical which is such a great combo for me!!!! I only wish it was longer but am completely obsessed with this book!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Evernight Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. For me, this was an odd book. It had no context-is this part of a series? Felidmid kidnaps Nora, she knows nothing and suddenly she is his mate and everything is okay? Odd, just odd for me. This is not my thing. 3 stars

Liathan O'Murcadha enthralls with the Puca's Forever Mate. This novella set in Ireland has the Puca Felidmid meet his true love Nora but he dies as she does not say she will join him forever in love. Queen Mab of the fairies offers Nora the chance to restore his life if she will venture everything for him. What will happen?

Not a fan of this faery folk tale...American Nora goes to Ireland after breaking off her engagement and has an affair with a mysterious man. She discovers that he is a Puca or faery but doesn't believe him. Felidman knows Nora is his mate but must convince her to accept him. First, the language used is difficult for American readers, it was really slow and some of the events that happened were a bit cringy. I also thought that there was very little conflict except that Nora had a hard time believing he was a faery but I feel that could be cleared up quickly and easily. The lack of conflict just made the slowness a bit boring.

Nora goes on a trip to Ireland after her engagement is called off. She wants to rest, relax and refresh.
A few days after arriving she meets Felidmid and there is a lot of chemistry between them which they act upon.
They spend everyday with each other and Felidmid comes to realize Nora is his true mate.

What will happen when he tells Nora the truth about himself? Will she accept him, be his forever?

I didn't find much 'depth" in this book, I didn't really feel the history behind the characters. Also some of the wording was strange to me, maybe the author isn't American?

Hot and magical, modern fairy tale of abandon, love, freedom of spirit, and of course mischievous fae. Definitely an adult fairy tale <wink>

This book is a nice and interesting short story. These two deserved the chance to find happiness and they took it. I loved every single page.
