God Gave Me Daddy by Pamela Kennedy is a fun book about how Daddy’s love their children. I love the various ways the book shows how Daddy’s love their child—like taking them camping and teaching them about Jesus. I believe this book is great to read anytime with your Daddy, especially on Father’s Day. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

I am always looking for books about Daddies or Fathers to read to the kids. There are a lot of books about Moms, but it’s harder to find books about Dads. I really enjoyed reading this book, “God Gave Me Daddy” to the children. This is a book that will be a great addition to our bookshelves! We enjoy reading to the kids, and encourage reading from an early age. This book would be great for a baby shower gift, a child’s birthday gift, or a just because gift!

I received a copy of this book as a gift, all opinions expressed are entirely my own. I received no financial compensation for reviews.

God Gave Me Daddy celebrates the ways that Dads play with, interact with, teach, and nurture their children. As a foster parent, I would find this book really useful to teach children the way that God designed fatherhood to be.

This is a very cute and sweet celebration of fathers and children told from a Christian perspective. The animal pairs are adorable and the sentiments emphasize a father as one who loves, encourages, protects, teaches, and guides his children. It would be a great gift for new dads or for Father's Day and would be useful on a Sunday School or Children's Church bookshelf for those occasions as well.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

This is a very sweet book for a child to read with/and or about their daddy. It had nice illustrations and put a smile on my child’s face.

I thought this was sweet, and the rhyme is nice, but there isn’t much theological depth. I appreciate that it recognizes God as the one who creates families, and that it teaches gratitude. It might be a nice addition to a child’s library that is already theologically robust, but this doesn’t help the child understand God very much.

We take a hike along a trail
Then spy a bird's nest and a snail.
Ferns and flowers, rocks and trees-
Daddy names each one of these
I'm glad God gave me Daddy!

Daddies come in many different ways. Some are silly, some are smart, some like to take walks. When dad does all these things with their kiddos, it make them a hero! God made dad for a reason and our kids need them!

A special thank you to B&H Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

Beautiful illustrations and a beautiful picture of the many variations of what a Godly father looks like. Fathers take many different shapes and fill many different roles in a child’s life. This book perfectly illustrates that in a playful way.

This endearing book is a shout out to fatherhood! It praises daddies who tenderly and faithfully interact with their little ones and cherish the times that is spent together.

This delightful rhyming board book highlights how daddies are gifts from God and are so wonderful for so many different reasons.

Adorable animals teach, cuddle and share adventures to express the message that daddies are awesome and important. Wee ones can relate to the story and express how they are blessed by their own sweet daddies. The refrain that is repeated throughout the book, "Thank You, God, for giving me Daddy!' will be tucked into little hearts long after the last page has been shared.

I love the book and highly recommend it!

Thanks to Netgalley and B&H Kids for a free digital copy.

With sweet animal adult and child pairings, this book walks through the ways dads love and care for their children through adventure, play, and learning. And why children should be thankful to God for their dads.

This is a cute little book to read along with your little ones that will surely evoke love, thankfulness and appreciation for their paternal figure.
My only critique would be that it is not itself Christian but mentions "God" and then just the Bible as a book to read stories from, I would have preferred the message of Jesus Christ saving us from sin, which is the main focus of the Biblical narrative rather than just stories, like if it were a fiction book.
